I want to install a fresh cope , but i forget how to get in the insatll menu from start. please help! thanks!

If you want to reinstall Mt. lion or Lion, follow these instructions:

If you want to install an OS such as Snow Leopard or earlier, you will need to get the installation disk, insert it in the DVD drive and press the C key when starting the MBP.
Note that if you use Disk Utility>Erase, you will erase all user data from the HDD.

Can someone please help me here. I'm trying to set up my wireless laserjet and i can not get it to work for the life of me.
Somehow the printer menu does not let me get to it or change any value in it, leaving me not able to connect to my wireless network. I have done anything and everything the HP support website saays to do. How can i change the SSID in the printer to what my network ssid is?

How can I get into the options menu without clicking?

I installed the Fx4 theme, and removed both the menu bar and the App button. As a result, I can't seem to find any way to access the File, View, or Tools menus. I googled for a list of keyboard shortcuts, but there doesn't seem to be one for any of these options (and no, pressing Alt does not unhide the menu bar, as it does in some other things).
Do I need to reinstall?

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. I can't get into safe mode -- there's no Mozilla Firefox folder in All Programs, and running "firefox -safe-mode" from the Start Search just starts up regular Firefox.

My computer has 5 vertical purple lines against white screen at startup before the Apple logo appears and the spinning gear...then everything disappears and the screen hangs on the white screen. You may have hardware problem, I think a visit to your local Apple Store or AASP is in order.

When creating a book in iphoto, how can I get all the photos from the album I want to use to show up in the order that they are in the album? When I tried to use the option to add my own photos instead of having the program "flow" them, they showed up all mixed up.

iPhoto puts them in the book in chronological order. So to get your photos from an album into an iPhoto book in the same order you will need to use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option and set them all to the same date with a 1 minute time difference between each.

The playlists might not copy, nor the album art work, nor videos but you might be able to recover all audio files. Current DSL download speed is only 3.0 Mbps, the max available for copper twisted pair, so I am told by tech support.
Unless Verizon will install fiber in my neighborhood, my only option to obtain faster internet service is to change to another provider, though I would prefer to remain a Verizon customer.
Any suggestions for alternate providers, under the circumstances?

Forget it. I've been waiting 13 years and every town around me has Fios, in fact my town is a small [27k population] city who provides the phone exchange numbers for the surrounding towns with Fios! Figure that out. I myself have given up and am moving on to Time Warner for my internet and phone and will not return even if fios does appear before the end times.. They are actually cheaper than verizon when flat rate phone service and real broadband speeds are figured in. Verizon only has last century's DSL technology available. Leave verizon, they don't care if do or not.

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any iDevice.
