Hi all,
I have few queries related to Flex Automation with MSAA / UI Automation. I am not able to find any resources anywhere w.r.t this.
If I need to talk to a developer who can answer my queries ( of course, I know it will be paid), how can I do that?
I know this is not supposed to be posted here, but I really need that.

Your computer profile in your posts is out of date and you might want to change it since it greatly affects the answers to your questions. I thought you were using Leopard and the answer is definitely different there.

I am thinking there must be some way to boot to a utility and use Time Machine to restore eveything back to the way it was when you first started but things changed when they went to no longer using discs. That would be more convenient than installing a fresh system and copying all the data files.
I suggest you re-post this question in the Lion (OSX 10.7) forum since it is an operating system question. Make it clear you have a backup on Time Machine and you are using Lion OS. You will need to format your hard drive too, but I am wondering if even there things differ with Lion.

Since updating to IOS5 many song artist are missing. I set up iTunes to sort on song artist but when I sync, my ipod tyrs to sort by album artist not song artist. How can I get the ipod touch to sort by song artist???? Most of my Song artists show up under Various which is the entry for album artist. Please help! I have aver 9000 songs with this problem. If I can't solve this issue, I will have to return to using my Toshiba Gigabeat which allows me to sort be album artist. IOS-5 was a step backwards.

Can't find out how to organize my bookmarks. can't do it after updating. Person tried to help, we had long conversations, I sent lots of images, it got to where I think the answer given were not related to the problem. You say you have a lot of duplicate bookmarks, and want to know how to organize bookmarks, but from the pictures shown, I really only see a news subscription, some sample bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar that you don't display on the toolbars so I don't see point in deleting anything there most of it are reports from the database or from a news subscription nothing of much concern, really. I would dump the news subscription if you don't use it.
How do you want to arrange your bookmarks, but you must keep within some boundaries of what was expected of the three major folders.
Bookmarks Menu -- this is your folder categorized bookmarks, originally all bookmarks were in this folder and the bookmarks toolbar was one folder within -- that has changed.
Bookmarks Toolbar -- intended to be visible on the toolbar with main bookmarks and folders spread out horizontally to save one level of drilling down into folders, with very few bookmarks and folders visible on the toolbar but quickly accessed. You can use the bookmarks showing essentially as buttons a few primary bookmarklets. You can have folder structure there so you could actually have thousands of bookmarks there within folders.
Unsorted Bookmarks (no folders within by intent not by restriction) -- new concept to not categorize bookmarks into folders because of bookmark tagging. Delicious.com will show you what they intended where you have lots of people. I think the concept of tagging breaks down with one person. The other reason bookmarks no longer had to be put into folders was the "AwesomeBar" feature of Firefox that is a great feature it will find bookmarks whatever folder they are in -- I hope you are familiar with it. You can throw bookmark separators into any folder but they are especially useful in the unsorted bookmarks folder, especially if you sort the folder. In other words a group probably within a date range.
So how do you see yourself categorizing your bookmarks ?
I'd like to get an idea of '''how many bookmarks '''you have altogether and how big your places.sqlite file is. To find out how many bookmarks you have all together bring up the Bookmarks Library list, place a colon (":") into the search field this will do a find on all of your bookmarks. At the bottom of the library window you will see the total number of bookmarks you may have to nudge the vertical scrollbar down, and as long as no bookmarks are selected you will see an '''item count'''.
Open your profile folder Help > Troubleshooting information... then click on "Open containing folder" then looking in bookmarkbackups folder and report size of last .json file in there -- hope you can see the extension the filenames have dates.
From the library list you can see if you actually do have a lot or any duplicated by eyeballing the list sorted by the location. You don't want to delete anything yet until you know what you want to do and what folders the bookmarks actually in, as you would not want to delete a categorized bookmark for an uncategorized one.
I have 1256 bookmarks, a bookmarks backup file (.json) is 1849 KB.
I have 750 of those bookmarks have a keyword shortcut -- most of my bookmarks may not actually be bookmarks to webpages.
Install the "Show Parent Folder" extension, it would be important for manually categorizing and deleting bookmarks.

At some point you will want to install the "Sort Places" extension that allows you to sort folders recursively in a matter of seconds. Only sort when you want to sort, never automatically.

The columns in the bookmarks library list that I show are
:Name, Location, Parent Folder, visit date, visit count, Keyword, Description, Last Modified
The important columns for eliminating duplicates are
:Name, Location, Parent Folder, Keyword, Description
:if you have Tags then that column would also be important not to delete the bookmark
Sort on Location look for duplicates, expect you won't find as many as you thought you would, because Firefox makes it difficult to create duplicates if you use the bookmarks star. I wouldn't delete any until you really know what you want to do, if you have duplicate you would not want to delete one a primary location based on parent directory or the one you use with a keyword.
I don't really think you have much to delete in your toolbars list, they are basically examples. Would highly recommend you keep something in the bookmarks toolbar even though you are not displaying it.
The only case of having major duplicates are if you have imported bookmarks at the bottom of your bookmarks menu also named bookmarks menu or something similar. You would see that in the parent folder column -- you cannot sort on the parent folder column.

How can I get my touch to use the speakers attached to my desktop

I cannot get my Touch to play music through my desktop (Windows) speakers. The music only comes out thru the "Touch" speakers. Music is heard just fine thru a headset.

Thanks and now for one more questios have a new Volvo XC60 and sometimes the system will see my iPod, sync and play with no problem and then other times the car system will say "connect iPod" and I have not unplugged the iPod or changed any configuration. I got the TouchPoint while i touching the touch screen, and i want to get the size of the Touching point.
I tried tp.Size but is zero.

If the Size is always 0 in a TouchUp event handler, your touch screen hardware may be the issue. Appearantly some touch screens report sizes in a non-standard way and then you cannot really get the size of the TouchPoint. Please refer to the following

Apple has just deleted my alias - which I was using as my main email address. They deny me creating a new one for 7 days. How can I get in touch with Apple so that they repair what they have broken?

Apple has deleted mine today; causing me a major headache as they deleted the alias that I use as my main email address.
What happened exactly, is that the @icloud.com alias remained, but the @me.com disapeared. So that the John.Smith alias became valid only for [email protected], but [email protected] disapeared.
To try to restore the situation, I deleted the alias, with the hope of re-creating it: but bad luck, that option is not open to me as I have had 5 aliases active till today, and they now only give you 3, and even once I had deleted 2, they would not allow me to set-up a new one for 7 DAYS.
I can't be without email for 7DAYS, care of Apple. Calling AppleCare does not seem to help, and the line gets dropped once I have explained the problem.
Please help me raise someone at Apple to fix this.

You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That should switch the assocation of the device to the new library but it is not something I've personally tested.
When you get it all working, make a backup!

I have put the latest IOS on there (currently 3.1.3 (7E18)).
I download apps from the app store but they often fail to launch. I assume they're incompatible.
Is there a way to check which apps will work and which won't before I buy them?

I have no idea how my reply could be "misleading". I stated the exact situation: there are millions of apps in the iTunes Store, and providing a comprehensive, accurate list of which apps support which version(s) of iOS would be highly impractical. You can perhaps help with your search by going to AppShopper:

That will give you at least some starting points, but AppShopper is neither comprehensive nor completely accurate. I've found a number of apps listed there over the time the site has existed that either are no longer offered or which have been updated beyond the iOS version indicated. But it might help.
