How can I get into the settings so I can remove "Bing" from the tool bar?

we started using firefox because of conficts with other sites but now Bing has put itself on the toolbar and is causing the same broblems.
so I need to get into settings so I can remove it, Please??????

You can open the about:config page via the location bar and search for prefs that refer to the bing website and reset related user set (bold) prefs via the right-click context menu to the default value.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

I just downloaded my Leopord onto my Macbook and I can't get into my Gmail account. It almost loads all the way and then stops. Also Facebook wont load all the way or keeps reloading and wont stop. The whole page never loads.

Ok, first thing, why are you doing anything with WAMP or XAMPP when you're running a Mac? MAMP should be what you want unless you're not explaining part of what you are trying to do.
2nd thing, I haven't used MAMP in a while, but there are two possibilities for not seeing what you want to see once you have MAMP turned on. One possibility is that you already have "Web Sharing" turned on in your Sharing Preference Pane. If that is the case, port 80 will already be taken and you'll be seeing the default Apache install (files are stored at /Library/WebServer/Documents/). This would push MAMP to either not turn on it's web serving capabilities, or to push it to another port. The other possibility is that MAMP defaults to another port anyway. So instead of localhost, you might have to type in localhost:8080 or something similar. I believe the control panel that gets installed can take you to the currently MAMP-served page, and it can also help you change which port your serving on.
80 is the default port for web serving and the ONLY port that will let you get straight to the server without having to type in webaddress.com:port# instead of just webaddress.com.

No action on your part can remove the lock. The previous owner needs to release the lock. They can try to recover their password at http://iforgot.apple.com, or call Apple, provide proof of purchase that they are the original owner, and ask them to remove the lock.

How do I get rid of a ton of old reimported email from the Mail App?

I was having an sync issue with a particular email address, it wasn't getting the emails forwarded from GMail into my Apple Mail account, so I followed the directions I got from apple.com
"Go to your home Library folder, then to the Mail folder and remove the “DefaultCounts”, “Envelope Index” and the “LSMMap” files."
"The next time you start up Apple Mail it should ask you to reimport all messages and it will rebuilt the index."
So, before I could use the Apple Mail, I had to let it reimport all messages and rebuild the index, which I did. Now, I did notice it was reimporting well over hundreds of thousands of files. Not sure if they were emails or what, but it took a long time to rebuild.
Now after, the email address was able to forward or "push" the email to my Mail program. Problem fixed. But hours later I looked at my available harddrive space and noticed I only 80GB's availble when before I have 224GB's of Harddrive space available on my 500GB home drive.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm not 100% sure if this is the problem, but there's no other explanation I can come up with because I didn't import anything or install anything else on my computer that day, especially that big.

3rd party email addresses have to be deleted on every synmced mac product, although I have 1and1.co.uk and my imac updatetes the mails in that account from mac mail.
Yahoo etc is a 2 step deleting process but good to get your emails pushed when on the go.

Can not get into my smtp because I can not remember password.

I have never used my .mac account for mail. I have a hotmail acct that I want to continue to use but, when I want to send an e-mail from certain sites, ( like my daughter's school account), it automatically grabs my mac account of which I can not even get into because I can't remember my passcode. How can I get my mail to all come and go from only my hotmail acct.. Various companies, including Apple, have methods to recover a forgotten password, Apple uses specific questions referring to name of your pet, your parents etc.
Note that this is the very purpose of a password, to assure protection of your data, and it is mandatory to not forget it.

How do I get iPad 2 to download music onto my device from the cloud?

I can't get my purchased music to download onto my ipad2 I hit the cloud next to the song name. It thinks for a moment then a popup displays a message saying it can't download at this time. This has been going on for 2 weeks. iPad is current on updates and now I can't get my music out of the cloud. this only happened since iOS 7. Ios7 crashed the iPad and Apple support at their store wiped the pad clean and installed a brand new copy of ios7 on my device. This is getting very frustrating.

How do you get safari on your mac after its been deleted from the computer completely?

I am using my friends old macbook and it is still in her name so how do I delete her name off of the mac and make it all my own? Safari is also not on the panel or anywhere in the folders so how do I get that?

Type in the name.
Check the Applications folder for Safari. If it's not there, click the magnyifying glass icon top right corner of your screen. Type Safari

I have a Bing search box on the navigation toolbar and I want it removed. Please inform me as to the process to do the Bing removal.

I searched frustrated for hours and this ACTUALLY does work!! It won't let me post a link here for some reason but there is a site called thesafemac(dot)com and the programmer there offers an adware program called the AdMedic. It's free to download, though a pop up box will ask you for a donation after install. You can click 'already donated' and it will go away or do what I did and donate a tiny amount once I saw the magic it worked (donation box never came back after that and the donation was through Paypal a few days back and no sign of weirdness there). Anyways, just open the AdMedic program once installed from Applications and run a scan. It finds that crappy crap in a flash and you can delete all at once. It restarts your computer and WHAM, you're back to normal. This REALLY fixed the annoying Bing problem on both my search engine and my tabs. It does reset it to the original Firefox browser which I then set to Google, but all my bookmarks were still in place. Well worth the tiny donation I gave him!! Hope this helps!!

Where can I get support for my iphone 5 if I'm from the Philippines?

I just had my iphone 5 for 4 months and now the sleep/wake button is not responding. I have to adjust the lock screen to 1 minute and press the home key to wake it. Had a chat with Damon who is a tech support from apple and when I was about to ask what can they do about it he disconnected. Can anyone help me with this problem?
