How can I get iPhoto only using ios 5?

For the moment i do not want to update to ios 6 (I love Google Maps in ios 5, which have been removed from ios 6!), but I very much want to get iPhoto onto my iPad 2, but Apple says that it demands ios 6...? Is there no way to obtain "the old" version?

Sorry, once an app is updated in the App Store there's no way to get the old version.

Yes. Iphoto menu -> Preferences -> General Pane:
Email Photos using: and select Mail from the dropdown.

iPhoto on the iPad and iPhoto on the Mac are completely different programs. The Mac version cannot run on the iPad, because the operating systems and the processors are different. Don't expect, that iPhoto on the iPad will be able to do the same things as your iPhoto for Mac, pr that you can keep the two iPhoto libraries in sync.

How can I get iPhoto on my Mac to recognize my new iPhone 6? (iTunes does recognize it!)

I got one of the new iPhone 6s (the smaller version) and it's been working great. I was able to restore an old backup from my 4S and transferred everything over. iTunes recognizes the new phone and I've had no problems bringing files within apps on the phone to the computer like before. HOWEVER, iPhoto doesn't even recognize the phone so I can't import new photos off the phone. How can I get iPhoto to recognize it? I tried searching for the phone as a drive via iPhoto and that didn't work either.

When connected it should appear in system profiler.

I am running OSX 10.5.8 and I have iphoto 7.1.5 I just spent many hours creating a calendar. When I went to purchase it, I got an error message stating that apple doesn't support calendar purchases in iphoto 7 any longer, and I need to upgrade to iphoto 9 at the mac app store. If your iPhone 4s was backed up to iCloud or using iTunes, you can restore the backed up data to your new phone.

I don't think that GarageBand can use wmas, but there's always good old conversion, and GarageBand can definitely use mp3s. Personally, I recommend media.io for stuff like this, but of course it depends on the size of your files. Otherwise I don't know that there's anyway to get GarageBand to work with them...

I need to check a few other things...
Click on 'Mail' in the upper left corner next to the Apple ()
Click Preferences
Click the 'Accounts' tab
Make sure your iCloud account is highlighted in the column on the left.
In the account information section what does it say next to:
Incoming Mail Server?
Outgoing Mail Server?
Also, did you use MobileMe before the iCloud?

Thanks alotSome generic "system variables" are available though Java, usually through the System class.
Date today = new Date();
is instantiated with the current date and time.
Other system values, like environment values, should be passed to java through the command line (-D option) by setting system properties.
Finally, platform specific values like the number of processes running will have to be written in platform specific code and executed by JNI (java native interface).
Java is platform or system agnostic. Common system values, like time, are implemented. Hopefully you won't need platform specific values.

I have a new iPhone 4s. I take a picture. I edit it and save it to the iPhone. Then, I sync my phone with my Mac, open iPhoto. Only the original photos appear, not the one I edited and saved. Yet, if I e-mail the photo to myself, I can see the edited version. So, how do I get iPhoto to see the edited version.

8 MP is the resolution of the camera sensor. Images are compressed when stored so quite a bit smaller. The compression ratio depends on the level of detail in the image.
