How can I get Messages to show the correct time for read receipts?

Messages in Mountain Lion shows the wrong time for read receipts. For example, my iPad will show a message was read at 3:37 pm but if I open Messages on my MacBook, the read receipt shows the time that I opened the Messages app as opposed to the time the message was actually read. This is not too much of an issue if my iPad is handy, but really, shouldn't Messages on my MacBook be able to show the correct time the message was read? It syncs all the other infromation with Messages on iOs.
I should mention that if Messages is running on my MacBook when the recipient reads the message, then it does show the correct time the message was read. It's if Messages was not running and I re-launch it that the read receipt time gets mixed up.

As far as I am aware Messages marks or time stamps an iMessage at the time of receipt rather then the time you got around to reading it.
I will admit that in most cases reading and receiving as the app opens will be near enough the same time in some conversations.
Adding Time Stamps to Chat is what iChat has always done particularly with AIM based Chats.
The "Sync" in Messages is "display on all devices" and after that each iMessages is dealth with separately on each device.
There is no syncing of deleting/dimssing an iMessages or having read it on another device.

How can I get Mail to show the correct cc: address?

Generally, I always set Apple Mail to cc: a copy of any message I send out to me in my regular user name. For some strange reason, since I upgraded to Mavericks last year, instead of migrating my name to the cc: line in any message I send, on one of my computers some other version of my name with my college graduating class at the end of it and many spaces between my first and last name appears in the cc: line instead. What has gone wrong in this particular computer, and where is it in the preferences or other low-level files that I can fix it? I try to remove the faulty address from my list, but it keeps coming back to haunt me when next I boot up my computer. I find the file in Contacts on that computer, but for some reason I cannot delete it. Any suggestions about how to fix this problem?

How do I get it to show the date & time.

How do I get it to show the date & time at all times. I don't want to have to click on the day & time to get the date. In the OS 10.4 I could at least get it in the "analog" format. Under leopard it just show a little clock that can't be read.
I just want to see the time and date at all times in the upper corner on the screen

My ipad is showing 7gb of storage being used on photos but there's no where near that many pictures! How do i get it to show the correct amount of storage available?

My ipad is showing 7gb of storage being used on photos but there's no where near that many. I turned off photo stream but nothing has changed yet. How do i get it to display the correct internal usage now that photo stream is off? I also thought that icloud used another form of storage outside of the internal storage for photos, so im not exactly sure why the photos were ever in my internal storage to begin with. Does anyone know how that happens, or how to correct this problem? Im also trying to sync my ipad with my computer hoping that'll help, but nothing so far, its just taking a long time to back up.

If you are syncing now, that may correct the incorrect storage reading - assuming that it is incorrect.
You can also try something like this. While the iPad is still connected to iTunes - but after you sync - go into the Photos Tab in iTunes and toggle setting for Sync Photos From. Uncheck the setting and then check it again. See if that affects the capacity bar to show the correct storage amount.

Thunderbird 31.0 starts up dislaying a subfolder instead of the inbox. Resetting did not help. How can I get back to showing the inbox on startup?

Last night I shut down while in a subfolder. Today TB starts in that subfolder and I can't get back to the inbox.
I know that my inbox still exists since it appears for about 1/3 second on startup, then the subfolder appears. Also, using a search, I can find a message received yesterday.

Right-click the track in the library, and choose Show in Windows Explorer.
If you were hoping to get the file path displayed in a column, as is possible in Windows Media Player, note that iTunes does not have that ability.

When you connect your iPhone to your MacBook you can import selectively from your Phone. Are you using iPhoto on your Mac? iPhotodoes not see the albums on your phone, but when you select the phone in iPhoto's source list and see the images in the Camera Roll, select the ones you want and then click the "Import selected" button.

How can a get a copy of the license cert for: Adobe Web Premium 5.5

but there are dozens of poosible search combinations I'd have to wade throught since I don't have the Adobe order number or PO number.
Also, I get an "Deploy to id is not linked to End user specified; search aborted" error when using the same numbers as I used to retrieve the SN.

On the LWS site (https://licensing.adobe.com).
According to me the best option : you can search via approx dates when it was ordered to arrive at the Order number and download the license certificate.
Secondly if the License certificate you require is for the serial keys .. and if you are a CLP customer.. the license key remains the same for all Web Premium CS5.5 ordered by you or your organisation.

I've tried rebuilding the thumbnail database, but that hasn't helped.

What version of iPhoto and system are you running?
Try moving the Zoom slider at the bottom of the iPhoto window all the way to the left. Does that let more than one photo display in the window?
