How can I get my (256 kbps) music stored on iCloud downloaded to the iTunes on my computer?
I uploaded all my (128kbps) music from my computer's iTunes to iCloud - Then I made an appointment at the Genius bar - They assured me that all the music I stored on iCloud is now 256 kbps !!! - Ergo, they all nodded, I can replace all the (old) 128 kbps music stored on my personal computer's iTunes just by downloading the 256 kbps versions from iCloud (tah-dah) - but, ah, they couldn't tell me how to do that. Wound up with 4 "genius" staffers all grinning and scratching their heads. Can I replace whole albums, etc. . . or do I have to replace all of my 5,000 iTune songs . . . one . . . at . . . a . . . time?

I just found out that I was denied entrance in becoming a Public Site Administrator.
Here's what the email says:
Thank you for submitting your recent application to become an iTunes U content provider. Based on the iTunes U requirements for inclusion, we are unable to accept your application at this time.
iTunes U is a free service available to qualifying K-12 school districts, as well as two- and four-year accredited, degree-granting, public or private colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United Kingdom. Does anybody have any recommendations on who to contact to get my school on the approved list?You need to contact your school's adminstration and ask them to complete the iTunes U Service Agreement with Apple. An institution must complete a formal written agreement with Apple under the terms of the service agreement. I've never heard of an individual instructor, teacher or professor doing that, as it is an institutional agreement, so usually involves someone from administration setting that up.

Note that while a free service, it is a contractual agreement between the Institution and Apple, so if you are doing this, you need to have the authority to enter into a legal contract on behalf of your institution. -

How can I get rid of a music file use in a menu? I try to get rid of it from the menu inspector but although I delete it there, it is still in use by the menu!
it is not inthe audio window in the menu inspector but is still in use! wiered!Click on the menu with the audio, then look in the property inspector, under the 'general' tab.

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over the last few days, I assume that there has been a problem with Apple's servers.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting those tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link. -

If you don't have the movie on the old computer and you don't have the movie backed up on a disc somewhere, your only choice is to purchase the movie again. Currently, movie downloads are a one time deal andit is your responsibility to have a backup copy.
If you have the movie on the other computer still, you can burn it to a DVD and then copy it over to the new computer.
Personally, I have two computers and when I make a purchase on one, iTunes automatically copies it to the other and I have never lost videos or music in this manner. -
Iphone would not restore---- Error -50. I have tried to restore, and it restored it to the new point that it created after 5.0 was installed. How can I get it an older restore point from my backups and restore it on another computer? The phone has been wiped out. I can see earlier backups in my C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup folder. There are four subfolders in this address. I need my contacts, photos, and messages back. I know this is a common error but I can not figure it out. I have ran the other troublshoot items in the error steps for 13 and 14 like apple says. Is there a way to call apple and get a step by step of how to restore from another restore point? Does anybody have a solution????

Try a different USB 30-pin dock-connector cable.
Eliminate third-party security software conflicts. Removed all virus protection and firewall.
There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows.Used the Microsoft fix it.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online. Doesn't matter.
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network. I do not know how to do this or how to find the correct/full/complete restore point. There should be more information for this. -

You can't, but you have a few alternatives.
Best option: If you made the movie on the DVD in iMovie (or even another editing application) and still have the project, go back to the project and export it for Apple TV (using the Apple TV preset)
Next best option: If you still have the original movie that you put on the DVD, open it in QuickTime and export it for Apple TV (using the Apple TV preset)
Worst option: Use something like Mpegstreamclip (Quicktime Mpeg2 playback component required) to convert the DVD to h264. -

There is no built-in date picker available for forms created in Acrobat. There are some third-party solutions involving JavaScript (either a large collection of fields or a custom dialog) though. Also, text fields with date formatting will use a wheel type date picker on Android/iOS devices with Adobe Reader.
