How can I get my CDs onto my Nano?

I insert the music CD, it goes into the iTunes Media on my Mac. How do I then get it onto my Nano? I've tried dragging the files to the Nano and they show up on the Nano while it's plugged in to the Mac, but aren't there when I disconnect. These are legal CDs.

You need to sync the iPod nano from iTunes or manually drag it to the iPod nano from within iTunes. Music dragged to an iPod in the Finder won't be recognized as music by it.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If you have failed to bakup, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

You should copy everything from your old comptuer to your new one.

You can transfer contents from your iPhone back to iTunes library:
First, *BEFORE you connect the iPhone, please go to the iTunes preferences and select "devices", then select "disable automatic syncing for iPad, iPhones and iPods"*.
Then, for those songs that you purchased on your iPhone: Transfer purchases from iPod to iTunes.
For all other non purchased contents (your photos etc), their are ton of third party programs, some is free: iDump, Floola. Some is shareware, but they does preserve playlist/ratings/playcounts/artworks etc: iCopyBot, CopyTrans

Maybe try one of the WiFi transfer Apps? There are several to choose from. I use Photosynch quite often to send photos and videos between my computer(s), my iPhone, and iPad.

I checked with your account but could not find any order history so you might be using another email address on forums.
You will first need to deactivate Acrobat from old machine and then install Acrobat on the new machine by activating with the same serial number.
Please download Acrobat XI pro from here: Other downloads
If you have single user license, then remember that the software can be activated on maximum two computers, say your desktop at work and laptop at home.

IF you have successfully imported your pictures to your Mac http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 then it's safe to delete it from your phone.
If you want the pics back on your phone, just sync them back using itunes http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236

iPods (except iPod touch which is really an iPhone minus the phone) only sync with your computer running iTunes. So it needs to go through the computer.
Since you loaded the iPod from your computer's iTunes library, you can just load the same songs from your iTunes library to the iPad.
