when I'm on a web site and I need to contact them the Mac wont let me do it. I have Yahoo mail but It wants me to sign up for yahoo's mail plus account which cost money so it can communicate with them. I dont want mail plus and I dont want to have to use different mail then my yahoo account. The only way with what you desire & have is to Right click or Control+click on the eMail link on the site, choose Copy Email Address, open Yahoo Mail in your Browser, New Message, then Paste in the To: bar.
WebMail is a real pain, Yahoo is a pain... are you sure you wouldn't like to modernize & streamline things with a new free POP or IMAP accont like HotMail/Live.com, or GMail?

Is your iPhone not showing up in iTunes sidebar, or is iTunes not just launching automatically?
The things that you can check are:
1) Launch iTunes manually
2) Restart or reset your iPhone (http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3281)
3) Check your cable including disconnecting and reconnecting it on bot the phone end and the computer USB end.
4) Reboot your computer
5) As a last resort, take it to the Apple Store so they can check the hardware

I bought a new MacBookAIR. Used time capsule to import all my settings. Perfect!
However, the new setup of Spaces, is beyond annoying and absolutely unable to work with.
Does anyone know how to get the classic view of Spaces back in OS Lion?
I loved working with that. The active programs were very easy to remember since they had their own 'visual space reference' (upper left, lower right).
Now you only have a row, of which you need to remember which screen is on what number of the row and you now need to swipe through all the d..mn pages instead of navigating intuitively to a specific part of the screen (middle left, lower right etc).
I absolutely hate the new setup and hope somebody has an answer to this....I certainly hope, as an Apple fan, this solution comes quick..for one of the most beloved features now is pretty much dead to me..

How can I get rid of a frozen updates window? I tried uninstalling/reinstalling latest software/rebooting. Window shows up whenever I try to open Firefox and will not close.

I was able to fix mine. I went to software update and updated a few things. I did not update everything, but only what I thought were the essentials, which I believe was Safari, a security update, and a firmware update.
Then I deleted and reinstalled Itunes yet another time. Now the itunes store is back up again.
