How can I get my installed plugins to show up in Logic after ive installed the plugin discs? ive tried changing the bit mode. it STILL doesn't work.???
I tried installing a program but when i open logic and scan the audio units, it doesnt come up. Even if i change the bit mode, it still doesnt show up. I even tried restarting my machine..Can anyone help me or give me some ideas.

Have you confirmed that the plug-in installed to one of the locations where Logic might find it? Most plug-ins go to /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components. Some (rarely) install to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components (where "~" is your user folder). Look in both locations and see if the plug-in is actually there.
When installing plug-ins, if you are offered options as to what format to install, be sure to include Audio Units. Logic will not see other formats like VST, RTAS, AAX, TDM, etc. If you use other software that recognizes those formats, it's fine to install them too, just be sure you don't deselect Audio Units.
Finally, if you're sure the plug-in is installed to the right place, open the Audio Units Manager in Logic and check to see if the plug-in passed validation. Go to the main menu and choose Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio Units Manager. Check to see if your plug-in is listed there. If there's not a check mark next to it in the "Logic" column, that means it failed validation. If so, the "Compatibilty" column will tell you why. Keep in mind that if the AU is 32-bit, you have to launch Logic in 32-bit mode to see it here. Likewise, 64-bit plug-ins show up in the manager in 64-bit mode.

the 3 colored buttons should still be there unless you're in full screen mode, hit the esc key on your keyboard in the top left side of it. now what do you mean your search window? if you only have one bar at the top, if you're running lion, that's normal with the new update the one bar is now your address bar and google search bar all in one/

I had to get my hard drive replaced from Apple, I lost all of my music obviously. My question is, how can I get all my music off of my iPhone onto iTunes? Since it's a new hard drive, the iPhone isn't recognizing this as it's home computer.

How can I get my RSS feeds to show up on my iOS devices from iCloud? The RSS feeds now show up just fine on my iMac.
On my iMac the appear in a category at the same level as In Box, Sent, etc. However the term RSS is in lighter grey like Mailboxes, On My Mac, Reminders. I use Snow Leopard 10.7.5. Any help will be appreciated as I'd like to read the feeds on my iPad 2 and iPhone 5 when I'm away from home.

You did not mention that it must be through iCloud. But then, it can't really do so if you want to maintain separate Apple IDs.
So you just set up an additional calendar on your devices.
iPads, iPhone, Macs can show multiple calendars simultaneously. I have my work calendar and several personal calendars all showing simultaneously on my iPad, Mac Mini and Macbook Pro. In the case of my client, they didn't need multiple calendars. They just were going to use the one shared calendar. But I did setup the shared Google calendar and separate personal caldendars on their iPhones. (e.g.: Husband's iPhone = husband's personal Mac Cal + shared Google Calendar. Wife's iPhone = wife's personal Outlook for Windows Cal + shared Google Calendar.) -
how can you get a compilation album to show up as one album rather than be split up by song and artist? I've got loads of albums on iTunes that are compliations and they are all mixed up by track/ artist. Even when you click 'show album' it still just shows the album title and then the artist in alphabetical order - so the album is replicated several times

I have several pdfs on my iPad in iBooks. My iPhone shows only the categories, none of the documents. How can I get my iPhone to also show the documents that are on my iPad?
You will need to connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over to your computer (that will copy PDFs and epubs that are in the iBooks app, not just actual ibooks), and you can then sync them to your iPhone. Or you might be able to open each PDF in iBooks on your iPad and use the share icon to email them to yourself and then use 'open in' in the Mail app on your iPhone to copy them to its iBooks app (if the PDF is protected then you may not get the email option via the share icon).
The Settings > iBooks > Sync Collections setting doesn't copy items between devices, it just means that it a bookor PDF is on both devices and you move it into a collection on one device then it will be moved into the same collection on the other device -

An alternate, and simpler method for most users is to open any Finder window, then look for the Time Capsule icon under the Shared heading on the left side of the window.
When you click on the Time Capsule icon, a folder......named "Data", unless you have changed the name of the drive.....will appear to the right.
Double-click "Data" to mount the Time Capsule drive on the desktop, where you can now drag/drop or copy/paste data to the drive.
If the Time Capsule does not appear under the Shared heading when you open a Finder window......then you are likely using the Yosemite operating system on your Mac, and it will take some work to find it.
In that case, Niel's method might be the better way to go. -

can anybody help me ?Go into the Audio MIDI Setup utility and check to see if you see it there. Considering that the Oxygen 8 is class compliant, you should just be able to plug it into the Mac. Perhaps, all it needs it to be recycled (turn it off and on again).

How can I transfer photos from an IPhone 5 to an IPad 2 using a cable. I have tried using the lightning to firewire adapter with my current lead but this only seems to allow a download from the IPad to the IPhone and not the other way around.
The devices are not designed for transfer of that kind. Use Photo Stream as suggested by another poster, or transfer photos to your computer (a good idea anyway since they will be lost if your device needs to be reset), then use iTunes to sync them to the other devices.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.
