I just bought the cable... I can see my Ipad in itunes, but can't see it in the finder to copy footage off of it?

I am trying to get a bunch of video footag4 someone shot off their Ipad onto my Mac for editing. I can see the Ipad in itunes, but cannot see the footage files themselves. I followed a Mac forum to open the Ipad in itunes, then click on File sharing. The only option is imovie- but here are no actual files to share inside tht app...
Yet- I can see the footage in imovie on the Ipad- I just don't really know how to use imovie- I am a Final Cut editor- and can't see the files themselves to move them!

I have recently purchased the ipod classic and and Ipad. After syncing my ipod with my laptop I cannot eject the ipod the message that appear is - cannot be ejected because it contains files that are in us by another application - does any one know why this is. I do have some music in my itunes which is part of my husbands library but he has authorised my laptop to use his music.

My 3G shows up on my computer as a drive/device so I can pull my photos, but the iPhone4 doesn't. Anyone else seeing this or have a fix?

I am having the same problem. Are you using vista? I tried my 4g on a XP machine with no problems but this problem only occured on a vista machine.
I am guessing its a combination of the 4g os and vista.
I don't have a fix or know of one.

Sylonious, did you manage to sort this problem out? I have been experiencing similar problems. I think my problem was because I had many different versions of JDKs. I have done a complete re-install. I would be really grateful to you (and anyone else) for help with this problem.
I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

If you have an iBook G4, (PPC) you can't do much.
But if that is a MacBook (intel) you may be able to
upgrade the OS X, if the hardware is up to it...

what OS X and RAM upgrades it could use.
If the computer is not already at OS X 10.6.8,
it can't go online to get or use OS X 10.7.5. So,
when you more accurately describe the 'Book,

When you find the serial number, there is a web
page that can be used to identify by serial no.

That'd be a first step. Or even the Model number
which should be visible on the outer case by hinge.
