How can I get my phone to turn on?

I went to go take a nap earlier and set an alarm. Within minutes, my turned to a black screen and hasn't turned on. I know it's not dead. I've tried countless ways to get it back on but so far nothing has worked. I've only had the phone for a couple months and it has no damage, never been dropped or anyting. Am i screwed and need to get a new phone or what?!

Try to connect to a computer and see if you get any response, if not then it might be time to contact apple and set up an appointment at your local store or send in for repair.
Holding the home button and the power button should let you know if the device is still live.

The phone number format as well as the date language and format and the time format are controlled by the Region Format setting. Go to Settings > General >International > Region Format. When you change a region format, you can go back one page (to International) and see an example of the date/time/phone number format that your selected region format will produce.

As AT&T has not officially unlocked your phone it must have been hacked to use another carrier. So when you updated it has relocked itself to AT&T. There is no official unlock so this will happen anytime you update.

Slow, intermittent. Sometimes bootable sometime not. Odd behavior.
Sounds to me like a classic case of your HD failing.
Your SMART status may still show verified, with no errors on the Apple Hardware Test, Disk Utility shows no problems on Disk Repair- this is of no help.
I trust you have a good back-up and a bootable clone.

I have a 32G Sandisk SD Card in the G4 mini but one day the phone said the card was blank and unsupported. I purchased another SD Card and installed it however the phone does not recognize that I have an SD card. When I try and save music or pics to the card the phone says I have removed the storage. First of all do you Mount or Unmount the card from the settings menu before pulling the card out of its slot? Make sure that the option Mount is greyed out in you settings menu when the card is in the phone. If not select it. If you pull the card out of the phone select Unmount first. You can also try formatting the card from the same settings menu. If these two things do not work, then either the card is defective or the card hardware slot is defective.
