How can I get my preordered book to download.
My preordered book is available today and I went to purchased and tap download like it says to do. I get a message saying I already purchased book and to go to purchased and tap download. Which is exactly what I'm doing.so where is my book? It's not been downloaded.
Ok, let's try this first...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions.
Any devices that previously appeared in your Printer List and Fax List will need to be added again after resetting the printing system.

Reboot.
Then try installing the driver again, I think with the printer plugged in is OK.

You really do pick up so much just by being in the environment where people are using things to get work done. A couple of old MP3 players, PPC G5, and a vintage Inspiron 3800 that someone didn't want any more is about it. No cell phone, no iPod, no iPad, no home wireless network, no streaming media. Fixed income. So we do with what we can as long as we can. If we could get by without that Intel processor, we'd probably make do with what we've got. On the other hand, we've really wanted a notebook for a very long time and have to admit that needing to upgrade to accomodate my husband's project is pretty much just the "reason" we need. I really mean it when I say that we are beyond appreciative that users take the time to share info and patiently educate those of us who fall into the "slow tech" category. -

in the iPhoto preferences change the print products country to the UK and give it a try - there may be some restirctions on billing but it has worked for some people

After syncing with itunes on the pc, my newly purchased audio books vanished from the ipad, and I can't copy it back! I've tried copying the audio book back into the library, but that didn't help.
Also couldn't get iTunes on my iCloud! there was no where to select on the icloud dashboard so that I can add iTunes ... Help!Audiobooks are not currently available for repeat download from iTunes in the Cloud. Your audiobook should have transferred to your iTunes library when you synced your device.

How can I get the address book to sort by "Last" name (using v 31.3.0).
After a computer crash, I had to load Thunderbird (v31.3.0) back into my machine running Windows 8.1, and I successfully imported my address book back up file into Thunderbird (v31.3.0).
My problem is that I don't see an option to sort the address book by "Last" name, which was available with the version of Thunderbird I had before the crash.
How can I get the address book to sort by "Last" name?In 'Address Book'
Select address book
'View' > 'Show name as' > 'Last/First'
The you can sort by Name.
Either click on 'Name' column header to change sort order,
If reversed, then click on 'Name' column header again to reverse the order.
Or
'View' > 'Sort By' > choose 'Name' and 'Ascending' -

I have a DVD Acrobat Pro 9. I upgraded laptops and trying to install but the DVD is not readable. How can I get a new DVD or Download Acrobat Pro 1. The product is registered and I have the serial number. PS: Contacting Adobe on this issue is impossible... direct support stinks.
Download AA 9 Pro from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. Make a new backup for your archive. You might also take the DVD to your library to see if it is a drive problem. You might also carefully clean the DVD with water and soap (do not use anything that would scratch the surface or you have destroyed it for sure) and see if that solves the problem. This is particularly an issue if you have finger prints or other crud on the DVD. However, it could also be a bad drive as I mentioned. Hopefully the download solves your problem in any case (I would backup the download to CD and/or backup HD).

On computer go into iTunes store, in the Quicklinks section click on purchased, go to music not on this computer and you should find all music still in the cloud.
On phone open music, choose store at top of screen, then choose the More option at bottom of next screen, look in downloads where anything waiting to download should be. If nothing there go to Purchased, click on Music, Not on this Phone and you should see any iTunes music you have bought that is not downloaded to the phone. -

There was a workaround posted, but I've not tested it myself. Here are the steps.
# Go into Yahoo Messenger Options - Change the Window in the dropdown to Tab and press OK.
# Then go back and switch it to small window and press OK.
Once the bug is officially resolved, you could try running a Nightly or Aurora build to use the fix early.

For ibooks bought from the iBookstore then you might be able to redownload them on your iPhone via the Purchased tab in its iBooks app - but not all ibooks are compatible with iPhones, some can only be read on iPads and Mac computers, so they may not all show on your phone for redownloading on it.
Or you can connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over to your computer (and if using a Mac with Mavericks or Yosemite on it then do File > Move Books From iTunes in its iBooks app), and you can then sync (those that are compatible) to your iPhone.
