How can I get my sound settings back to where they were initially. I lost my default device somehow.

I was trying to listen to my music via my Bluetooth Bose speaker and I could not make that work. I went to Control Panel>Sound>Playback, and chose my default device, selected Properties, then Don't Use This Device, at which time my default device disappeared and all of the sound from my computer stopped. Please help.

Problems getting programs and settings back to where they were before A/I

I had to do an archive and install because the OS X 10.4.9 update messed up my system. I am now back on my MAC with v.10.4.8. The problem now is that some of my applications are acting weird. They aren't loading up the settings they should be. I tried copying the Library folder onto my MAC HD root directory and tried to replace the new one that was there and it didn't let me do it because it errored. First it said you will need to type in your administrator password in order to replace the Library folder then, right after, it said an unexpected error occurred? How do I go about getting these settings and these programs functioning again. Guitar Rig and EZdrummer won't load up when I start logic it says they can't be found or something, and I tried replaced just the Audio folder in the Library folder and it wound up not working right and now that folder is empty. I still have all the archived files in the Previous Systems folder in the root directory on my MAC HD. Can anyone help me?

Please Help! I just got an IPhone 4 today from work and I wanted to 'sync' my IPod touch apps to the Iphone and it 'restored' to my OLD 3G Ipod Touch settings! How can I get it back to what it was when I received it from work? My work email account is completely GONE and it was already all set up when I recieved the phone. Unless the device was backed up prior to restoring the backup from the iPod Touch, there is nothing to restore.
Just set up the email account again... it's not difficult, but you may need information from your corporate IT dept to set it up.

How can I get Normal video settings back

Before I launch into describing the problem, I thought I would tell you that I really had hoped it would have been a common problem, and therefore went through about 12 pages of topics and problems before I decided to open a new topic. The closest thing I found was from someone who apparently experienced part of my problem - a shifting of the screen.
What I really need to know in lieu of a specific solution to the specific problem is to know how to get back to Default settings for monitor display. Something I did screwed things up. I am not even sure precisely what I did to mess it up, because I actually did several things that could have contributed. But, the end result of what I did was that my screen font display looks wierd, and not normal. I have an ATI video card, and I hit Detect display, so it flashed off and then back on. What is the setting that the display is normally set on. I have tried various solutions, but can't seem to get back to where it once was. I would presume that a reinstall of OS X would do the trick but that seems too radical of a solutioni. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You didn't say what display you are using.
Try a new user account. Everything will be at default in the new account.

I recently found out if someone else stolen my apple ID then he can login my account on apple's website and change almost every information, like my first and last name, my apple ID, my password, my security question and my birthday... That happens when you do the update on a computer when the apps and media (e.g., music) are not in the iTunes library.
You need to go to the computer with the pass and media and restore from the last backup you have on the computer.

Yes, that's correct, it won't affect your account or your devices in any way.
Use the delete account button in the iCloud settings.
Then enter her iCloud details in the new screen that appears and log in. She should then be returned to the screen above but with her Apple ID at the top, enable the services she wishes to use and then tap the storage & backup option and ensure that iCloud backup is turned on.

go to settings and sign out his apple id in the sections i tell you:
1.game center
2.itunes and appstore
3.messages
4.icloud(delete acount;it wont realy delete it will only remove from your ipad)
5.facetime

Yes We have an iMac with the same account. They have both worked fine for the year that we have owned an iPad. I think I have solved the problem. I went into mail settings and turned off push. Then I reset the iPad. Upon reopening, I turned push on again. At least for the last 15 minutes, I have a blue dot bt new mail. Many thanks for taking the time to help me, Matthew.

It's most likely not you, no matter what they say. I have noticed a LOT of fraud with itunes, even with my own account. One time I caught them doing a database restore. I know this because my password automagically reverted back to an old one! I'm an IT guy who helped design DOD classified networks in the mid-pacific. I know security. The best protection for this is to NOT have a credit card listed in iTunes. Use iTunes cards ONLY. It's a pain, but until they step up, it's all you got.
