  • How can i get music from my ipod nano to my iphone 4s?

How can i get music on my ipod nano to my iphone 4s?

iPods (except iPod touch which is really an iPhone minus the phone) only sync with your computer running iTunes.  So it needs to go through the computer.
Since you loaded the iPod from your computer's iTunes library, you can just load the same songs from your iTunes library to the iPad.

  • How do I get photos OFF my ipod onto a new computer?

I can see the photos on the iPod.
I've tried putting it in dick mode but the photo files don't show up. All my other files seem to be there.
Putting new photos on the ipod is easy. Getting them off and onto a new computer doesn't seem like it can be done.
    Any ideas?

I don't have the original pictures because I don't have the original computer. I can't re-put them on the ipod. We're talking 4000 pictures or so.
Right now I have Image Recall looking at the ipod. It's found 37 pictures so far. I'm hoping it will be able to find the rest. I'm not hopeful.

  • How can I transfer photos on my iPod Nano imported from a previous PC to my new Macbook

    Hi all,
Wonder if you can help. I have photos which were copied to an Ipod Nano using Itunes on a PC Laptop. The hard drive on the PC is dead and I have now purchased a Macbook. How can I transfer these photos to my new Macbook please.
I have tried opening Itunes with the Ipod Nano connected and then checking the box "enable disk use". Then opening Iphoto and Image Capture to import the photos but none of these seem work.
Could the fact that the photos were originally on a PC using Itunes to the Ipod Nano be the reason? I am at a loss!
Mac OS, Itunes and Ipod software is all up to date.

The photos you synced to your iPod through iTunes are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnails of those photos.  So if you do manage to get them off your iPod, they will be quite small in size compared to the original ones you lost.
In order to get them off of your iPod, you'll need the help of some sort of 3rd party software. Here is one option.

  • How can I get music off the ipod and into my library?

I can't get the music off my ipod into my library... arg why won't it let me?

You can't sync or drag your non iTMS music back directly from an iPod to iTunes, the transfer of music is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there is a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes
If you prefer something more automated then there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod, this is just a selection. Have a look at the web pages and documentation for these, they are generally quite straightforward. As iTunes 7 is just out some of these may not work with it yet though I haven't experienced any problems with the Mac software I use.

  • How can I get photos off iPad onto PC

A friend posted some photos on Photo Stream and I was able to load them onto my friend's iPad, however I am having trouble getting them from the iPad to my Windows PC.  I plugged in the USB cord into the iPad and PC, a window pops up on the iPad asking if I trust the connection, I click Trust but cannot transfer the photos.  It keeps asking me if I trust the connection.  What am I doing wrong?  Is there another way to transfer photos from an iPad to a PC??  Thanks in advance.

  • How do I get music off my ipod and on to my itunes acount?

I need to burn a CD for a freind but I cannot get my music off of my Ipod and on to my computer. I want to put it in a play list I made but it will not let me drag it.

The media should already exist in iTunes on the computer.
iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
That being said, if for some silly reason the media is not in iTunes and you have chosen to not maintain a backup of the library, iTunes purchases can be transferred from an iDevice to iTunes.
Connect the device, right click on the device and select "Transfer Purchases".

  • Getting photos off of iPod Touch

How can I get photos off of my iPod Touch and onto my computer ?

Presumably, these are photos you've taken "on the Touch" with the screenshot facility, either the iPod one or one built into an App, is that correct? If so, then when you connect the Touch to iTunes a window should appear notifying you of "photos on the Touch which are not in your library". I can't be more precise about this since I'm a Windows user, but I guess it'll be iPhoto or an additional iTunes window that pops up.
Anyway, when that window appears, there should options for removing them from the Touch and putting them into your photo library.
    Have you tried that?

how can i get games off of my iphone 4s to my daughters new ipod?  we have different apple id's now.  both devices are on the same mac in itunes.

    Easiest is
iOS: Transferring information from your current iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device
But then you have to change the sign ins on the iPod in various places.
You can transfer the app to the computer she uses by
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
then sync to her iPod and then transfer game status by

    Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
If you previously synced to the computer then you may be able to recover use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:
