How can I get rid of duplicate entries in iPad iCal?

This is kind of a repeat and I apologize, but I have duplicate entries now in my iCa on my iPad because of iOS5? Others on this same topic said something about deleting the whole iPad calendar. Before I did that, I wanted to be sure, that if I delete the iPad calendar, it won't delete the iMac calendar. I'm just not sure how to get one one iCal entry in my iPad calendar. I have birthdays, etc. entered until eternity!

That is, if you want to sync Calendars, Contacts, and email, use either iCloud for all 3 (e.g., enable all 3 in iCloud and deselect all 3 from iTunes) or iTunes for all 3 (select all 3 in iTunes and disable all 3 in iCloud).... don't break them up across services.

Found the answer myself while helping to set up iPhone. It is simple when you know how. Before signing out of iCloud to sign in again and restore the link to Photo Stream I had opted to copy iCloud contacts to the Mac. When I signed in again this created two iCloud views which can be seen in Contacts Preferences. I just disabled one of them. Not brave enough to attempt removal but I gues this would work too.

What kind of duplicates? Did you import the same image file several times? Aperture does not have any built-in tools to detect duplicates. You will have to do delete the one by one. You could arrange the images by date, so that duplicates are shown side by side in the Browser. Or use a tool like Duplicate Annihilator (the program is not free). I have never tested it but some do recommend it.

You can't remove the "other" section on your iPad, iTunes and the iOS need this folder to store data during syncing for example, damaged data and for all things, that you can't access on your device.
You can reduce the size by restoring, if the folder grows to more than 1GB due to problems when you sync or download apps or photos.

You don't want to get rid of, it's a security feature. If someone steals your Mac, all that account permits is Safari access, no other access to the computer. This enables you to locate your Mac.

How can I get rid of a corrupt iCloud iPad backup?

I have a backup of my iPad 3rd genereation in my iCloud account. Every time I attempt to delete it from either my mav, iPad, or iPhone, i get the following message:
"Cannot delete backup. This backup cannot be deleted because it is in use."
I have tried the following method with no success:
Tap Settings, and then tap the iCloud icon
Tap Storage & Backup.
Tap Manage Storage.
Tap your iOS device in the Backups area.
Tap Delete Backup.
You will be asked to confirm this change. Deleting this backup will also turn off Backup of your iOS device. Choose Delete if you want to turn off Backup and remove all backups for this iOS device from iCloud.

Well, folks, I determined the culprit here.
I failed to mention that I had, at one point, updated to a beta version of iOS 7 to try it out. I made an iCloud backup apparently while I was using it. When I then decided to revert to iOS 6.1.3 (the current iOS) apparently it was trying to draw from a version of iOS that was not yet releases (aka didn't exist to the public).
I had to re-install iiOS 7 and delte the back up then reinstall iOS 6.1.13 and restore from a backup i made just before I started the process.
It is possible that trying to delete any icloud backup for newer versions of iOS from an older one could be an issue.
