How can I get rid of search.babylon in my address bar, I have tried everything?

when I open firefox, in the address bar comes search.babylon.com I have tried everything to get rid of it and can't. Please help

Unless you are a new computer user you may consider doing the above in a different order, and even avoiding the Reset Firefox step.

You can go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, cookies and data and then delete every bookmark and that should clear it temporarily, but it will only be temporary. As soon as you starting using the search again, then suggestions will appear again.
I think that I may have misread your question - if you want to clear all of the history - use the Clear History button in the upper right corner of the History window. You cannot delete one item at a time.

Mozilla Firefox crashed leaving an error message--How can a delete the message permanently, it is driving me crazy. Have tried everything. everythiing

I have tried everything I know how to do--I am not a expert computer person. Every time I try to sign off the message appears and I have to restart Firefox. Every time I do the restart it says a report is submitted but nothing ever happens. I would appreciate detailed instructions on how to get rid of this message permanently. How can I get rid of Shockwave Player Error message? I'm not trying to play anything, but it pops up whenever I reset my Safari.

I keep getting a message on my Mac saying:
Shockwave Player Error
To view the movie, open your browser in the 32-bit mode.
1) In Safari, select applications/safari in the Finder and click more info
2) Ensure that Open in 32-bit mode is selected
3) Re-launch the browser.
I did this, and selected the open in 32-bit mode but it's still giving me this message.
Interestingly, it does this every time I reset my Safari (which I do upon closing Safari), UNLESS I unclick the "Remove all website data" item box - then I don't get this weird shockwave player error message.
I would like to know either how to get rid of the error message (stop it from popping up) or how to download/install shockwave in case I need it.

I am having this issue whenever I go to Safari privacy preferences tab it pops up this same error window repeatedly, over and over, even if I don't acknowledge the first one... it just keeps adding the error window one on top of the other. (a little offset like opening multiple browser windows).
If I switch to a different application it may even keep popping them up keeping them on top all the time.
I navigated to Library/Internet Plug-ins and there was nothing in it.

Now I find that the Tab bar is transparent, which makes it hard to read.
How can I change the Tab bar to a solid colour and still keep the persona.

How do I get rid of the IMESH add-on. Very annoying. Tried everything youtube, probram delete files and web sites to no avail.

Believe it is associated with IMESH, but not quite sure. No file exists to delete???? Please help.

Ok....so I have found a work around....if not a complete solution.
I'm not sure if deleting your music, uninstalling ITunes and reinstalling and adding your music back will actually affect it but I tried it again. Started from scratch.
I checked the box for "Manually manage music and videos"
Then I moved my music to phone via drag and drop, usually just boxing a row of albums at a time.
I went back into my Iphone and began the sync. The message popped up, "1 Item could not be synced" and the sync stopped. At that point, I just clicked sync again and it started back up again. It took a few go's but eventually I got all my music on my phone.
Ironically enough, the only songs that wouldn't sync were songs that I had actually purchased from Itunes....kinda odd

hello tomterrimort, if your manual changes don't 'stick' after a restart of the browser, please look out for any suspicious extensions (like 3rd-party-toolbars or things you have not installed intentionally) presently installed under '''firefox/tools > addons > extensions''' or the programs section of the windows control panel and remove those entries.
in case this doesn't solve the issue please try this: go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information > profile folder - "show folder", then a new window will open up. in this window look out for a file named '''user.js''' (it might be used to overwrite your custom settings). in case it is present , delete or rename this file and restart firefox afterwards.
