How can I get rid of speed download without the uninstaller?

Having trouble downloading, and reading that speed download could be the problem, I trashed it. The trouble is, I trashed the uninstaller along with everything else. Is there anyway to get rid of speed download? Safari quits when I try to download something, like a widget.

I am using Windows 7 and iTunes 12.1.1.4. Multiple iTunes folders have been created on my computer (on both my C: drive and my D: drive under Users and My Documents) and they all have different content. Some albums show up in one instance of the iTunes\iTunes media\music folder and some show up in another. How do I get all the content synched up? Can I simply drag and drop all these iTunes folders into D:\My Documents\My music\iTunes (the D: drive being where I store all my documents and photos) and then delete the rest of the iTunes instances?

Several remedies may apply:
For media files that are correctly linked from your iTunes Library, i.e., they will play without reporting something like this:
you can make sure that everything is contained within your main iTunes folders by selecting File > Library > Organize Library... and when you get this prompt:
check the Consolidate files box and, if not greyed out, the Reorganize files ... box and then click OK. This will move any media files that are in other locations to the folders under the setting in Edit > Preferences > Advanced:
This is the location of your media folder. By default, this will be C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media, where your iTunes database (the iTunes Library.itl file) is stored in C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes. In general that relationship between the database and the media folders should be preserved - in the example above the complete library is stored on a external drive, with the database in K:\iTunes and the media folder location being K:\iTunes\iTunes Media. Note that this setting doesn't tell iTunes where to find media files (that info is embedded in the database); rather, this setting determines where new media is placed within the media folders.
Checking this causes iTunes to automatically place media in folders, and (re)name media files, based on the metadata associated with the files. For music this means that everything will be in folders following the pattern iTunes Media\Music\artist_name\album_title and files to be named using the disc number (if present), track number and song name.
Checking this makes iTunes copy all new media into the media folders, independent of the method of adding it.
Second case ...
For songs that are listed in your library but you do get the "missing file" error, right-click on one of these songs - there will be a "(!)" symbol next to its name, right-click > Get Info. When you get this prompt:
click No (there's a bug in iTunes 12 such that you actually have to click No twice). Then go to the File tab and look for the Location information - sometimes you have to scroll down or expand the editor window to see it. You'll see something like this:
The "file://localhost/" prefix indicates that iTunes can't locate the file. The rest of the entry is the path to the file that iTunes holds in its database, i.e., where iTunes "thinks" the file is. This may be enough of a clue to determine where it actually is - close the editor, right-click > Get Info again, but when you the "... cannot be located ..." prompt click Yes then navigate to and select the correct media file. In many cases iTunes will then be able to adjust its location info for other songs. Otherwise there are a number of techniques that you can use to track down and repair these broken links - often using scripts running against the iTunes database.
... and the third case:
If you have folders that are labeled as "iTunes" but their content doesn't appear in your library within iTunes itself, add these to the library by any of these methods:
select File > Add Folder to Library... then navigate to and select the folder(s) containing the "missing" albums/songs
drag and drop these folders from Windows Explorer into iTunes
copy these folders into iTunes' Automatically Add to iTunes folder
Once you've been through these steps its probably worth running the Consolidate Library process again to make sure everything's in the right place. Once you've checked that to be the case, you can delete any stray "iTunes" folders that are outside the hierarchy rooted in the folder where your database and your standard iTunes Media files are located.
Two final points:
Moving files and folders around yourself never fixes anything in iTunes - in most cases it'll only make things worse by creating (more) broken links

Make a split library portable describes the optimal layout for an iTunes library, easing the processes of moving it between computers and maintaining a backup of it, as well as the steps needed to bring a library into that shape
Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy describes a suitable/recommended method to create and maintain a backup ... when you've gone through the effort to make your library just exactly perfect you don't want to lose it all as the result of a virus, hard disc crash, or other fatal failure!

Yes, it was a folder from a website. It was a backup of a website (the website was hacked into at one point if that matters). I kept the backups in a folder on my laptop. I was able to delete the other backups, but this one was giving me an issue for some reason. The other day when I was having this issue and you were trying to help me solve it, it was showing that I only had (about) 158 GB of memory left on my computer, but when I was finally able to delete the folder and all of its content it was showing that I had over 250 GB of memory left. I don't understand how a website's backup folder can be that large :S Was that why I was having so much trouble doing anything with it?
I could drag the entire folder into the trash can, but if I tried to empty the trash it would just do what was showing in the picture from my original post

This limit is due to agreement between Apple and the cell carriers, the latter of whom don't want to see their limited bandwidth taken up by people downloading huge files. If you want to see that limit changed, you should provide feedback to Apple;

How can you get rid of Genius function without losing iTunes 8.0?

I recently updated iTunes to Version 8.0 with the Genius function, but I have the feeling that this program is taking up space on my hard drive that I don't want to lose. I understand that you can turn off Genius in the Store menu, but it's still on my computer.
So, how do I eliminate the Genius function altogether from the version of iTunes on my computer? Is it possible? Or will I have to just go back to an older version that doesn't have Genius at all. I want to free up the space on my hard drive that the Genius program is using.
In a previous thread <http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1703834&tstart=15>, a user seemed to ask this question, but it never really was answered.
Any help from other users would be greatly appreciated.

AS it says in the thread you referred to you can turn off the genius function so it is not active.
You do this on the Store menu.
You can delete iTunes Library Genius.itdb in the iTunes folder. Normally if genius is switched on, it gets recreated, but I guess it may not if Genius is turned off, or at least it would remain small.
You can't remove genius from iTunes, it is part of the program.

How can i get a free digital download for the Logic express 9 DVD version

I recently bought an new Imac. There is no dvd player. What gets me frustrated is that i own almost all Apple products, but i can't seem to get my DVD version of Logic Express on my new imac. I tried to share the dvd drive of my macbook pro, but that doesnot work with copy protected software. So i can't install from that external dvd drive.
So now i have a:
Iphone
Ipad mini
Macbook pro
Imac
and ik can't use my officially purchased version of Logic. Microsoft offers a free digital download for registered version of Office for Mac. Is er there also a free digital download for Logic Express? Anybody?
If there is not, i feel ripped off.

How can I get rid of "Jagged Edges" on the text in .jpg/.psd file in FCP?

Hi guys,
I am running FCP5.1 and I have a still image (.jpg) of a consumer product with the name of the product and the description on it.
When I view it in the viewer or canvas, I see jagged edges around the name, description and the product.
Even when I use the FCP text tool, I still see it.
I even see jagged edges when I import a .psd file (photoshop doument) with text on it into FCP.
It is getting very frustrating for me at this point.
Can someone help me out please?

How can I get rid of a "speck" on the inside of my iMac's display? please help me. T_T

I have a Mid 2011 21.5 baseline iMac which I bought in March 2012. I noticed it just a couple of days ago, there's a tiny grey "speck" in the middle of my screen. I initially thought it was a speck of dust, which I tried to clean off with a microfiber cloth. Well, it didn't come off. I realized that it was on the inside portion of the glass cover. It's is neglegible when the the screen has a dark image but becomes visible when I use a white background like when I use Pages. There are also severaly tiny grey bubles at the bottom black portion of the glass cover. Ther's also a tiny "crack" like something on the top right area (or maybe just a speck of dust, I'm getting a bit paranoid). I'm kinda OCD about my iMac and this is driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated.

what is the resolution of the image? highlight the jpg on the timeline and press option(apple)+9... this will bring up the item properties window... about half way down on the Format page you will see Frame Size... what is it?
