How can I get Shockwave to stop crashing?

Shockwave keeps crashing and now won't even let me load Farmville on fb....I have gone so far as to uninstall and reinstall it but this problem still persists. Has any one else encountered this problem? If so how can I fix it?

Hi Bubblegut. Do you get a crash error? You may be experiencing a Flash problem rather than Shockwave. People do get confused as Flash was once reffered to as Shockwave Flash. Now, Shockwave just corresponds to Director.

Or better yet, create and use new Apple IDs for others in your household. You could always use different Apple IDs for iCloud services (like iMessage and FaceTime) and iTunes and App Store., but it's even easier to share purchased content now with Family Sharing.

There is only one thing that happens -- the Server does not respond.
Your mac concludes that you must have entered the wrong password. That may happen once, but then other issues become more likely, and it keeps asking for a new password.
Sometimes the Server is down for maintenance. Sometimes something is configured wrong. Some services do this on purpose to get you to use WebMail (pick up your Mail with your Browser) so they can show you some ads.

If streaming music when connected to your carrier's cellular network, it uses cellular data.
Only the music you purchased from the iTunes Store can be streamed unless you have purchased iTunes Match.
If there is a slow down at the server where the music is stored or high traffic, steaming can be paused. You can also download a song from the iTunes Store cloud to your iPhone so it doesn't need to be steamed.

Did you try shutting down the device? Resetting? Disabling iCloud? Disabling auto-update?
I'd find the problem that is keeping the download from proceeding and fix that so that the process can finish...sounds like it may be your connection or a server issue, in which case you may need to wait.

So my company decides to cut off my access to the iTunes Store. So I go in to Prefs and turn off all things iTunes Store related. I'm still getting a message saying it can't connect to the iTunes Store. How can I get iTunes to stop trying to connect?

Disable itunes store in preferences.
It's also possible you have some podcast group trying to connect to iTunes if that's their source. Disable podcasts or at least set preferences to check for podcasts manually.

I'm selecting that "my question has been answered" here - because the answer is NO. It's apparently not possible. Which is frakkin' ridiculous, and I'd love to be proven wrong. But that's how it appears to be.
What I ended up doing was first backing up all my data by downloading an app called DiskAid (free, Windows and OS X), and actually digging through my iPhone's folder system until I found the right Applications folder, and clicked through each subfolder until I found the Apps whose data I wanted to copy.
For anyone who ever needs to do that, the location is:
/user/Applications/[long string of numbers]/Documents
I was able to back up my apps on my home computer. So I still am not able to sync up any part of my phone at my work computer, without risking deleting these files. Basically I've minimized the possible damage by making backups.
