How can I get text to follow an arc of a shape?

I am using the circle shape and I would like to put text along the arc of the edge of the circle. So I think I need to 'curve' the text box. Is that possible in Pages? If so how is it done? Thanks

Pages, any version, can't do this on its own. Try Art Text 2 from Belight Software. There is a free version available on the Mac App Store.

The title of your post isn't the same as the post, so I'm a bit confused. If you want to see the numbers being texted by phones on your account, log into your on-line MyVerizon account (assuming you are the Account Owner and logged in as such) and click the blue Usage Details. Select the appropriate line at the top of the page (if applicable) and then under the table showing text usage, click the blue View Messaging Details. However, texts sent/received via iMessage won't show up since they don't go through Verizon's system.
If you want texts sent to your e-mail, you should be able to forward them. If it's another phone on your account that you're wanting those texts sent to your e-mail, there may be an app for that, but I'm not sure. With Androids, you can get apps that back up text messages and then forward them to your e-mail; I don't know if there's a similar iPhone app or not.

Hello! I am BRAND NEW to Objective-C and Xcode and iOS, so PLEASE be forgiving of what is going to be a stupid question. I have a text field. I want to enter some text, click "return", and see my text in an alert. It doesn't serve any useful purpose, but this is how I learn. So far, I am unsuccessful. Here's my function from my HelloEarthViewController.m file:

Is an "action button" a real button? From my limited understanding, the alert should launch when I click "return" since showInputMessage is attached to Editing Did End on the text field.

How can I get text to appear over my placed or pasted images in InDesign CS6?

I am new to InDesign and am having a few issues. I have a basic template for a site that I have built in Illustrator. I have placed the design into an InDesign document (I have tried both copy/paste and the Place feature). When I try to use InDesign to overlay text on top of the image, it shows up fine whenever I export to an image file. However, when I export to HTML, the text gets pushed directly underneath the image in web browser (it's visible, but shows on white space below my desired template). Is there any way to fix this? I have already tried enabling "Ignore Text Wrap" on the text frame and the text itself is set to the front of the document. Thanks!

InDesign is not a web authoring tool. If you’re expecting text to simply overlay a graphic in export HTML from InDesign you’re going to be highly disappointed.
I’ll make the assumption you know nothing about web authoring tools and HTML/CSS. I suggest you look into Muse.

How can I get text to scale to fit div?

I am using a fluid div layout and want the text to scale itself with a maximum and minimum size so that it does not cause the div to expand excessively.
Example - I scale the browser so that the code for the middle size, ipads, kicks in.
I have then sized the text so that it looks right, but when I expand the screen so UNTIL the next media size kicks in, the text appears too small and the box is oversized.
On the other hand I shrink the browser and the text wraps around causing the box div to expand too much causing the photograph to be outsized.
I can not post an example as the client information is now on the site and I don't want to fall foul of group policy by posting links to a live site or 'appear' to advertise it.

How Can I Get Text Edit To Restore It's Previous Work Space?

I was having some buggy behavior on my MBP, and finally had to do a fresh install of OSX.
I was using 10.8.2 on the old setup, and the same now in the fresh install.
In order to NOT import any settings that were causing the bad behavior, I only migrated in my Applications.
On my old system, (before the fresh install) when I quit TextEdit I did not have to save any of the open docs, they would just be there as I left them restored when I relaunched it.
Now when I try to quit it asks me if I want to save the untitled docs, or lose them.
And now, when I launch the app, it opens a new blank text window.
I would really like TextEdit to automatically open all the previously opened documents, and not ask to save them.
Any advice?

I'm actually kinda' embarrased... But then again, no one else had the answer either!
As a side note, the way I got to finally figuring it out, was when I launched Safari directly, it would restore the previous workspace.
But, when Safari would launch from a link in Mail, it would only open that single page, and I had to restore the workspace manually.
I then realized it was more system wide, which lead me to System Preferences!

Do you mean something like this:
If you have white text and you set the blend mode to "Darken" or "Multiply" you will see whatever is behind the text. Black text with "Lighten" or "Screen" would give the effect. I added a stroke to the text so it would be visible.

If you haven't received the item but you've been charged for it then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that in-app purchases and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).

When I go to the second block (block_data) and I want to insert a new record, I need in my record the value of EXERCICE who is in the first block (block_control). First , when you want to insert a record in the second block , override the default commit_form processing and create a commit-form trigger which is called by a button to commit your form. The when-button-pressed trigger of this button should be : do_key('commit_form'); . And you create the key-commit trigger on the second block. Inside the key-commit trigger write this :
:second_block.item_name := name_in('block_control_name.exercice');
commit_form;
In this way you get the exercice data into your record.
Secondly, in the post-query trigger of the second block, set the exercice column of the second block to the exercice column of the block_control.
And that's it.
