How can I get the Firefox browser to work with my high speed internet?

After switching from dial-up to high speed internet, I can no longer open the Firefox browser (which I was using) even after downloading the latest version. It is set for my default, but I can only use IE to browse. What else do I need to do to make it work?

You didn't tell me it was a user name password issue.
Open Keychain Access. (Applications/Utilities)
Select Passwords on the left.
Delete the Delta keychain.
Now from your Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Autofill tab. Make sure: User names and passwords is selected.
Navigate to the Delta site. Login with your user name and password. You should be prompted to save that info to a new keychain.

For MS Visio (any version) only the appropriate version of Acrobat *PRO* provides PDFMaker for Visio.
For Visio 2013 specifically you must have Acrobat XI Pro (updated to at least 11.0.1).

How can I get my Firefox persona to work with the new version of Firefox?

Everything was working fine, then my computer automatically updated Firefox and my persona background disappeared. It's listed as enabled on the add-ons backgrounds under add-ons manager. I have Foxkeh tail wag. I went and reinstalled it but it still doesn't come on. I went to the firefox personas page and tried to install a different persona. NONE of them work now. How can I get my persona background back?

How can I set up a home wireless network with Comcast high speed internet?

I just signed up for Comcast High Speed Internet. I was able to get my Power Mac onto the internet. However, I connected my Airport Extreme and am unable to get it to recognize that I have an internet connection. I want to set up a wireless network in my apartment. Comcast tech support said that I only have one IP address.
Any suggestions as to how I can get my wireless network up and going? Thanks!

My guess is that there are problems with gestures yet to be worked out. One problem I see is that users don't wait long enough, or try hard enough (ha!) when using them. My guess is that when the machine is busy (indexing, rendering, etc.) that the gestures get hosed, but I am not a developer...so just a guess

How can I get the readability bookmarklet to work

Firefox 3.6.8 in Windows XP Home on a Toshiba netbook. How can I get the "readability" bookmarklet to work? It works just fine in Camino on an Apple mini desktop computer running OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger.) Readability uses javascript, which I do have turned on. The problem (of it not working) doesn't seem to have anything to do with the NoScript add-on either, as I tried allowing everything on the page and it still didn't work. Any ideas of what to try next?

By chance, I too have the readability bookmarklet installed (but I don't use it that much, to be honest), and it works ok for me. It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. If you don't have a 2nd device available which is already setup with your Sync account, pairing can't be done.
In order to set up a '''new device''' when you can't "pair", you need three things; the user account name ''(email address used)'', the password for the account, and the '''Sync Key'''.
If you didn't make a copy of the Sync Key as prompted at the end of the Sync set up process, you can't successfully setup a new device and won't be able to recover your data.

Below is a simple patch for this problem. Using this patch you need to pass 0 as the length argument for any XmlEventWriter interfaces that take a string length.

Hi I have an older 3 ZTE MF627 3G dongle. Cant get the loaded software to work with 10.9.2 on Macbook Air. Also cant find a download for new sofware for it to work....
