How can I get the ios7on my iPod 4th generation

How can I get the iOS 7 on my iPod touch

   You can't!
iPod Touch (4th gen) does not suppport iOS7 and update (iOS 6.1.3) is the the last end of the line update for end of device.
There is nothing you can do! . . . If you wan't iOS7, you must purchase iPod Touch (5th gen.).
   Thanks!

  • How can i get ios 7 in ipod 4th generation

i have ipod touch 4th gen. it has ios 6 i want to upgrade it into ios 7

    Then get a 5G iPod.
As Apple said in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod.
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB

can we get satellite internet on ipod 4th generation?

    What happens when you try?
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • How can i get the music from my old generation ipod touch on to my new windows computer

I have an old generation ipod touch 8GB with itunes version 3.1.1 and i want to get the music that is on it on to my new computer. some of the music was downloaded from websites while some of it was rippped from CDs and my computer.

    See:
Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive: Apple Support Communities

You will need a third-party computer app to copy non-iTunes purchases to the computer as discussed in the above

  • How can I get my I pod touch 4th generation unlocked?

So I have forgottenn my i pod pasword and now it says, ' connect to itunes' that didnt work I plugged it into my laptop nothing happened. If i take it to the apple store will all my photos be erased thats the main reason why I want it unlocked.

Yes, the iPod will have to be erased to regain use of your iPod
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

    For how to restore:
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

  • How can i get a refund of my 4th generation itouch that is broken, how can i get a refund of my 4th generation itouch that is broken

hi people!! i bought my 4th generation itouch in last year and i cracked my itouch screen. Because i cracked my screen, i just wanted to fix my screen as soon as possible. But, my mom accidently threw the Itouch Apple case and some people say that i cant get fixed or refund. SO, i'm asking a questions about getting fixed of itouch screen.
        1. how much does it costs?

Sorry but you can never get a refund unless you bought it under 14 days ago.
You can get a replacement product or a repair for free if it broke not through your own fault if it is still under warranty. However...
a cracked screen is probably not caused by somethng which is covered under warranty. Apple will replace it with a refurbished model for the price listed here: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/prices/
    Hopefully this will help you

  • How can i install pandora in my ipod 4th generation?

I deleted Pandora from my ipod 2nd generation. Now, when i am trying to reinstall it. I get a message " you need ISO 5" . What do i need to do to reinstall pandora in my ipod 2nd gen.

Your topic states your iPod is 4th generation but you stated:  "I deleted Pandora from my ipod 2nd generation"
A 2nd generation iPod does not support Pandora. It requires iOS 5.0 or later as noted here.
If you actually have a 4th geneeration iPod, tap Settings > General > Software Update
    Then download Pandora.

  • My Generation 7 iPod is not being recognised by either my PC or my laptop.  My older 2gb iPod IS being recognised though.  How can I get the Gen 7 iPod to be recognised?  This is a recent issue, as it was working fine before.

My 7th Generation iPod has suddenly stopped being recognised by my PC and laptop.  I have updated all operating systems for Windows and iTunes, yet it still will not be found.  I have had the Generation 7 since June 2013.
I have plugged in both my 7th Generation and my 2nd Generation iPods (7th first, then 2nd a few minutes later on.), and the 2nd generation was picked up instantly.
I have checked to ensure that it is not a problem with the USB port, and that is recognising and installing drivers as necessary, so before I take the iPod back to the store, is there anything else that I can try to get it to be found.
Both iPods had run out of charge if that helps.
    Thank you in advance.

At present I have no power to the Gen 7, so need to get some power to it I think.  I pressed the buttons as you suggested, but nothing is showing up at this point.  Thank you for your response as the more I can rule out before  I take it back the better I think.

  • How do I get FaceTime on my iPod 4th gen I have done a update but still don't have it any ideas

How do I get FaceTime on my iPod 4th generation I have done a up date but its still not there can anyone help please

Assuming you sync your iPod Touch to iTunes on your personal computer, you can do a few tricks via iTunes.
Download the podcasts to iTunes on your personal computer.
    Move them into a Playlist.
Select all the podcasts in the Playlist and Get Info (Command-I)
You will get a dialog with an "Options" tab.
Under Options change the "Media Kind" from "Podcast" to "Music"
Now in iTunes, arrange to sync that playlist to your iPod Touch.
After you sync with iTunes, you will have a playlist on your iPod Touch that is your podcasts that can be played just like a music playlist, one podcast after another will be played in the order they are arranged in the playlist.
NOTE:  If you DO NOT normally sync with iTunes on your personal computer, then be aware that the first sync generally erases the stuff on your iPod Touch, so do not do this without thinking about it.
NOTE 2: When you change the podcast Media Kind to "Music" the podcast will move from the iTunes "Podcast" list to the "Music" list.  When it is time to refresh the playlist with new podcasts, it is best to reverse the Media Kind back to Podcast so the old podcasts are not now sitting in your iTunes Music section.
Yes this is a pain to do, but it is also a way to get a random selection of podcasts to play one after another without your needing to mess with your iPod Touch.  Very good for long driving trips where you cannot take your hands off the wheel to mess with your iPod Touch.

  • I have all my music on an external media drive that has crashed. How can I get the music of my ipod touch back onto the comupter without loosing the music when it syncs?

I have all my music on an external media drive that has crashed. How can I get the music of my ipod touch back onto the comupter without loosing the music when it syncs. in order to start rebuilding my music collection?

You should be able to recover the media with the tips in  this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That should switch the assocation of the device to the new library but it is not something I've personally tested.
When you get it all working, make a backup!

  • HT1329 How can I get the songs on my iPod onto my new iTunes library?

I have an iPod that was synced to another iTunes library on another PC.  The PC died and I replaced it with a MacBook Pro but it keeps saying the iPod is synced w/ another iTunes library.  How can I get the songs on my iPod on the new iTunes library?

Some of the information below has subsequently appeared in a document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.  Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If you have failed to bakup, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases
