I have the adobe flash player pre-installed. however, the computer says that I need the lastest version to be updated.....it won't update...
I follow their instructions, go to manage add on's, and then enable, and close, and then to safety, and then to active X.,,,,but it won't
do a darn thing. Why??

I have a MacBook with a DVD/CD drive, Mac OS X (10.7.5). I recently updated to iTunes version 12.0.1.26. It seems to be designed for Macs without a DVD/CD drive. How can I get the previous version back? I don't have a back up or use time machine.

Thanks Chris, there a number of problems I'm experiencing. When I insert a CD, despite the preference being ticked, I nolonger get the box that asks me if I want to import. When I did manage to import I couldn't find where the file had gone. Perhaps what I need is a good user guide for the latest version of iTunes because at this point the impression I have is unless I'm buying from iTunes nothing seems to work as it previously did. It is impossible to add anything to my library.
I'd be the first to admit I'm no computer nerd and all the information I've found so far to try and sort out my difficulties don't seem to work. Can someone please tell me where can I get a good user guide for iTune 12.0.1.26 because I find it far from intuitive? At least then I have a chance of working out if it's me or the machine.

I had a iPod 4G and it suffered crashes after upgrading to iOS6, especially in the App Store and iTunes store. Safari often crashed as well, but it occurred same as before I upgraded.
My iPod barely had any apps on it, having only 3GB used of 6.5GB available space (I had 8GB version).
I got the new iPod Touch 5th generation a few days ago and it works perfectly. Never had a single crash running any app, game, or store.
This has led me to believe that iOS6 was primiarily for the new line of devices and not really optimized for the previous generation. Thus, I think that iOS6 may be the last highest supported OS for the iPod-4 and the iPhone-4 and 4S and future operating systems will not be compatible with the previous generation.

Just figured out how to get the SD version of HD movies to play on the iPod Classic. In the iTunes Store, look at the purchased list and down at the bottom where it lists the Total: # Movies, to the right is a checkbox [ ] Download HD When Available. Hi think, currently you can check, what map data files there's in your device by browsing device in Nokia Ovi Suite. Just click arrow on top of the phone icon and check what map data files there's in the device.
Unfortunately, we don't have yet functionality to show, what version maps there's in device.

it is nice to see the time and knowledge spend answering questions is rewarded in some way, even if it's only a simplistic score. it helps to turn a blind eye to all the questions which can answered by just entering the question in google, reading the documentation or ignorance in another way. also you can look at it as part of the rules of the game. what your motivation for spending your (or the time of your employer) time on the forums?
