How can I get the TOC to display ALWAYS in a Sans-Serif Font in Linux/Firefox.

I've created my help project in RH9. When it displays in Linux/Firefox, the fonts in the topics are fine, but the TOC displays in Times New Roman. Is there a setting in RH9 that I need to use to keep this from happening?

Did you change the setting in the skin? What font have you set for the TOC? Perhaps you set a font that is not available on linux so make sure that you use a web safe font. For more information on web safe fonts, see http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css_websafe_fonts.asp
You can also tinker with your output files. In whthost.js, you can amend the CSS that RoboHelp uses for the TOC. you can add a rule for a sans-serif font the browser can fall back on. See http://www.wvanweelden.eu/webhelp_output_files/whthostjs for more information on the whthost.js file.

How can I get the ToC to open automatically in Webhelp?

I have had this ongoing problem. When my help project is embedded in our software system and you open it, the ToC is not displayed; there is just a link called "Show" that you click on to open the ToC.
My users do not think to click on the "Show" link so are baffled about how to navigate the help.
I asked this question on the forums before and one of you (perhaps Peter Grainge?) kindly sent me a script to add in the footer of help topics but sadly, it did not work.
For info, the script was:

The root problem is how your developers are calling the help.
If they cannot or will not fix it, I think the script was from Willam van Weelden's site.

Because you closed the main window before saving. Hit cmd-1 to get it back.

Soft shadows around photos on a particular website appear as heavy black frames in Firefox 5.0 although they look like proper shadows in Firefox 4.0 and in other browsers. How can I get the shadows to display correctly??

The shadow effect on two sides of the photos on this site looked fine in Firefox 4.0. When I upgraded to 5.0, the heavy black "frames" appeared in place of the shadows. No change had been made to the website between the time I looked at it in 4.0 and 5.0 (I know because I know the builder of the site). Indeed, it was only about an hour between my two viewings. So I figure the odd appearance has to have something to do with 5.0. But what? Is this fixable? Or do I need to wait for 5.1?

I want to make a program by which I will be able to display a panel/pops up menu at the corsor's current position, (In any text/doc file or in the desktop, we can display a menu by right click of the mouse.) Now I want my program to do the same task.
More clearly-
1. First I would save some words or sentences in a file(aa.txt).
2. Then I would open another text file/ a word/ excel/ or any other editor( bb.txt / cc.doc / dd.xls / ee.html ).
3. While editing or writing something in the opened file, if I click the right mouse button/ press a key (ctrl+space), a menu will appear containing the sentences I saved in the file(aa.txt) previously.
My program will tell me the cursor's position in bb.txt / cc.doc / dd.xls / ee.html that i opened. And display a menu. my problem is not reading / writing in a file.
My problem is how can I get the cursor's position in a opened file display a menu at that position by a mouse/key action*.
Would you please help me on this regard.

2) Yesterday I made the subclips with the In-Out Points and Command-U, the benefit is that I've seen the clip before naming it. Now I'm using markers, it's benefit is that I can write comment and (the later) clip name at once, the drawback is that I have to view to the next shot's beginning before knowing what the shot contains.
But now I found out that I can reconnect my clips independently to the format I converted the master clip to. I reconnected the media to the original AVI file and it worked, too! The more I work with, the more I'm sold on it... - although it doesn't seem to be able to read and use the date information within the DV AVI.
1) Ok, I tried something similar within FCE. Just worked, but the file size still remains. Which codec settings should I use? Is the export to DV in MOV with a quality of 75% acceptable for both file size and quality? Or would be encoding as H.264 with best quality an option for archiving, knowing that I have to convert it back to DV if I (maybe) wan't to use it for editing later? Or anything else?

according to the online help, I'm supposed to click on Title to get to the titles settings as follows

Gsoing to the Text inspector, there does not seem to be anything in the menu where I can change the color of the text. Based on the photo that appears with the above instructions --it appears the ability to change ink color is under the Published Parameters that is the menu I cannot get to 'drop'

Do you have Large Text turned on? See Settings > General > Accessibility > Large Text.

It sounds like you essentially have a new computer and unless you restored from a backup your iTunes library would be empty. You can transfer your iTunes purchases from your iPod to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
SInce you changed syncing computers. after you move the stuff you need to restore the iPod to factory defaults and sync the stuff back to your iPod. If you had the iPod backup file you could restore from backup.
If you have non-iTunes pruchases you can copy them to your computer by using one of the third-party programs discussed in this previous discussion:

I can easily get the key attribute displayed in a DataGridColumn by setting the dataProvider to my variable and the dataField to "@key". But I do not know how to get the text value in a second column... Is there a way or do I need to change my XML to something like this :

yes, you'd better modify your XML structure to fit the DataGrid internals.
Since dataField pattern require each grid row item to have a named property to be displayed, otherwise you'll be forced to overcome this pattern using custom labelFunction for the particular column which will implement your custom actions on how to extract appropriate data for that column out of grid row item. It will be much more complicated than just rearranging your xml structure.
