I want a wired connection for my xbox 360, so the guy at bestbuy said to buy a dlink EBR-2310 switch so i would still have a wireless connection for all the laptops, phone, etc in my house, and still get a wired connection for my xbox from the switch.

Unfortunately the advice you got was not correct. The issue is that the modem is only expecting a single device to be connected to it. By connecting a Ethernet switch directly to the modem, the modem will provide an IP address to the first device it "finds." That means all other devices will not gain access.
What you needed to connect to the modem was a router with a built-in Ethernet switch, like the AirPort Extreme or similar router.

At first I updated iTunes and tried to download an audio book. It locked up and closed me out so I removed iTunes completely and reinstalled. Now it won't even open the stupid program. What do I need to do? Any help please????????

Had same problem and solved it without having to reinstore any music or movies:
1. Delete old Library file
2. Go to the 'Previous iTunes Libraries' folder and copy one of the earlier files - note, they have a date extension, e.g. 'iTunes Library 2011-11-01'.
3. Paste this file in your iTuners folder and rename file by removing the date extension - 'iTunes Library'
You should have all your music and paylists in tact, unless it was a really old previous file.

Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

For MS Visio (any version) only the appropriate version of Acrobat *PRO* provides PDFMaker for Visio.
For Visio 2013 specifically you must have Acrobat XI Pro (updated to at least 11.0.1).

everyone here is right, dreamweaver is better and you will need to understand html for this to work. HOWEVER, you can make a functional website using just illustrator and notepad (or text edit if you're on a mac).

Save for web and select html and images, you'll get an html file and an images folder. Open the HTML file in your text editing program and it will look like this: http://s10.postimg.org/f32nf6r2h/html_stuff.jpg you'll have to know HTML codes but you can find tutorials online for most stuff, you'll just have to figure it out. In my fake site, i linked a button to google so i had to add <a href> tags to the code. http://s22.postimg.org/5avpadhch/a_href.jpg save the html file and open it in your web browser, hopefully not IE. Nicely explain that you may return the computer without iDVD. That usually does the trick. You MUST speak to a senior advisor to get a free copy. The first tier people cannot do it.

Since you say you cant see the back up in iTunes you should be able to see it when following the last step where it says for iTunes 10.7 or earlier. Dont worry as this step also works for iTunes 11.
