How can I get what is on my MacBookPro's screen to a TV using BoxeeBox?

I want to be able to display what is on my MBP's screen to my TV using the BoxeeBox that I have had for a few years. I have "Streaming from iOS devices" turned on, but when I go to the AirPlay option on my MBP, it doesn't say there are any compatible devices to stream to.
Any ideas? Is there another way to do it without AirPlay or do I need to update something? Is it even possible to do this with the BoxeeBox or do I NEED to buy an Apple TV?

You can use a traditional HDMI cable. There are other options, but they may not accomplish what you want. For example, you can use Vuze to stream media from your mac to certain devices.

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID?

Remember, if you ever want to find an app quickly, you can slide all the way to the left (iOS 6 and lower) or pull down (iOS 7 and later) to get to an app.
If you know for certain that you have deleated the app, please try restarting your phone. There are many ways to do this, but the safest way would be to hold down the power button and then slide to power down.
Once powered down, restart and try to find the icon on your screen. If you still can't find it, go into the App Store and then find the app you were trying to access. It should have an iCloud download symbol since you've purchased it before, rather than saying "install."

Best I can do now is to open the "force quit" window and click on programs I want to stop and then send each one a "command-Q" and then repeat as necessary

You need to look for your itunes library under Computers and select it, then music.
Music column is for web based content not local content, just to confuse everyone.

Was that iTunes' safe mode as opposed to Windows' safe mode? iTunes safe mode is invoked by holding down CTRL+SHIFT immediately after clicking the icon to launch iTunes and continuing to hold until this message pops up:
Click continue, then close iTunes and reopen. With luck iTunes now opens normally every time.

Restore from the iCloud backup - assuming that you were backing up to iCloud in the first place. If you weren't using iCloud for backup - then you are out of luck.
If you were backing up to iCloud - you have to erase all contents on the iPad in Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings - before you can restore from the iCloud backup.

I inadvertedly changed a setting where the top of my screen no longer shows the apple logo in the top left or the clock and wifi status and strength on the top of the screen, how can I get it to show both of these things again like it used to?

I inadvertedly must have changed a setting where the apple logo and files and things that used to be in the top left corner of the screen are no longer there as the clock and wifi status and other installed settings used to show up in the top right hand corner of my screen. When I move my mouse to the very top of the screen they drop down but when I move my arrow away from the very top of the screen they both disappear again. So I was wondering how can I get it to revert back to the way it used to be? I hope this isnt confusing.

I tried the zoom thing but it still didnt resolve my issue Im gonna try to clarify my issue a little bit more, before the change, my screen when I would surf the web would have the apple logo and safari and file and edit and view buttons at the top left hand of the screen and the upper right hand screen would have the time and the wifi strength and my name and the spotlight box and a volume control but now they dont show while Im browsing the web unless I take my arrow and move it to the very top of the screen then those boxes will drop down like it used to be but when I take my arrow and move it from the top of the screen it disappears again and ll I get is a back and forward arrow and the url input bar. I just got update a little bit ago and the keyboard went back to this crappy white which is extremely hard to use, it's like staring at snow all day and getting white out. The black keyboard before this one was perfect, easy to use. How can I get the black keyboard back or how can I go back to the previous version? This keyboard is useless the way it is.

The keyboard has been white since iOS 7 first came out. Now at least with 7.1, the letters are much better looking. And you can reduce the white a little. You can't get another keyboard and you can't go back to a previous version.
You can do the following in Settings > General > Accessibility Bold Text - Increase Contrast - Darken Colors - Reduce White Point
That should help you with the keyboard.

if that doesn't help, in Safari, throw away your history from the days since you had the issue. that may get rid of it. If it doesn't you may need to throw away your cookies (which isnt' any fun because it'll sign you out of any site you regularly sign into)
