I just got a replacement iPhone 4s for a broken iPhone 4 but cannot get my pc to recognize my new iPhone

Right click My Compute / Select - Manage / Select - Services and Applications / Double Click - Services.
You should see in this list your mobile device which maybe name "Apple Mobile Device" or "iPhone Mobile Device".
See what it says in "Status" column. If there is nothing in it, right click on it and click "Restart"
Open iTunes and it should be recognised
If the status shows as "Started" come back and we'll try something else

If you synced it with the computer it should have created a backup .
Try Connecting your new phone to the computer -Right clicking on the Phones name under devices -Click restore from backup - and choose the date and time when you created that backup.
Keep in mind any information on your phone currently before you do that will be lost, since it is putting the other phones information on the new device.
alternatively If you Synced your contacts to windows address book, Microsoft outlook 2003/07/10, or address book on a mac - and you could just sync contacts with one of those programs.

Sorry, the ~ symbol indicates your home directory. A shortcut to get there is to open a Finder Window - Go Menu - select Go to Folder.... and copy and paste ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Image_Capture.plist into the search field. Finder will take you right to the file then drag the file to your desktop.

Can't get Windows/iTunes to recognize new iPad2

Just purchased an ipad2 with iOS5. Am running Windows 7 with latest version of itunes (10.5 - verified today that there are no updates). I have 2 3GS iphones on the itunes (one recently upgraded to iOS5) - have been using for a few years.
When I plugged in the ipad to sync up with itunes for the first time, I get a Windows error that it cannot recognize it. Does not show up in itunes. I've followed all the steps in the Apple support. Even unistalled and reinstalled the Apple USB driver. Windows error says "This device cannot start (Code 10)".
Any suggestions???

What version of iTunes are you running on your computer? You need to update to the current version.

I purchased another SD Card and installed it however the phone does not recognize that I have an SD card. When I try and save music or pics to the card the phone says I have removed the storage. First of all do you Mount or Unmount the card from the settings menu before pulling the card out of its slot? Make sure that the option Mount is greyed out in you settings menu when the card is in the phone. If not select it. If you pull the card out of the phone select Unmount first. You can also try formatting the card from the same settings menu. If these two things do not work, then either the card is defective or the card hardware slot is defective.
