This is not someone in my house. I am happy to pay for the songs a second time for this other person. Who says the mixed tape is dead !!

Anyway, the best way is to burn the songs to an audio CD and gift it to the intended recipient.
You may remember iTunes in the past having options to share an "iMix" and to "Gift This Playlist." They are history.

I find it amazing that Apple has now made it 10X easier for customers to "gift" a playlist illegally (via dropbox) than it is to do it legally. I'm flabbergasted. I'm sitting here wanting to spend $50 on gifting a 35-song playlist and they've made it impossible for me to do it. This, after the whole foundation of the Apple, Inc turn-around can be traced to finding a way to make it easier for consumers to purchase music legally (iTunes) than to download it illegally (napster).
Having the ability to make someone a "mix-tape" hits AAPL's purchasing demographic square in the head. I'm floored that this feature has been removed from iTunes.

Are you asking about iOS apps? This is the Mac App Store forum, about issues with apps for Macs, not iOS devices. Mac apps cannot be gifted at this moment. I am asking the Hosts to move your question to the iTunes area.

How can I gift a playlist, with the songs in the order I choose, to a bunch of other people? Since iTunes won't allow me to burn a song more than a few times to disc, and I have to share playlists with my cover band (so we can learn songs), I need the capability to do this.

Drag them from where? I've tried to drag them from windows explorer and it won't allow me. It seems the only place I can drag files from is from the iTunes library list. The problem is there is no way that I can find to just see the songs from a specific folder on my drive in the iTunes library list. It sorts them by artist, album, genre, etc....but not by folder.

All the older Nokia phones you answer a call – you can put it on hold – call someone else, tell him/her that you are transferring a call – press 4 and hang up. Those two can continue the conversation together.

With Lumia I don’t want to be the 3rd wheel in the conversation...
I haven't found the way to end the call so that the others could continue (not even with conference call)

I bought an app that can't run on my iPod Touch because it is too old. Can I gift the app to someone else or get a refund?

I have an iPod Touch 4th Generation. I didn't even realize the new iPod Touch 5 had come out, or that my device would not support the newest iOS.
Recently, an app came out that I was looking forward to for months: "The Walk" by Six to Start (same folks who did the excellent "Zombies, Run!" app). I'm pregnant and I was hoping to have the app to encourage me to get back into my walking habit once I recovered from childbirth, so I bought it. Unfortunately, there was no warning or indication that this app would NOT work on my iPod Touch 4, and nothing to inform me that iOS 7 wouldn't be supported on my device. The app requires iOS 7 or higher to run, so it won't work on my iPod Touch at all. I didn't realize any of this until I tried to install it.
So now I have this app that I paid for, but have never used, and CAN never use (unless I shell out $300+ for a new device, which I cannot do, as a stay-at-home parent-to-be with no income of my own anymore). I'm annoyed that I can't use this app that I really wanted, but it would help if I could at least get a refund or maybe send the app to someone who CAN use it.
Is there anything I can do at this point, or do I just have to live with the fact that I wasted money on an app that I can't use?

You can't gift it, gifting can only be done from within the store, not from within your library.

You can certainly create a playlist since a playlist is simply a text list of a selection of tracks. Use export in the iTunes file menu. That won't include the actual music which is a bunch of files on your computer and it is probably illegal for you to share them. Or do you mean to ask how to make suggestions through the iTunes Store?

How can I remove an app that someone else downloaded on my device with their Apple ID

My nephew downloaded Facebook on my iPhone using his Apple ID and password. I deleted the app and am trying to download it again, but it always asks for his itunes password. How can I permanently get rid of apps he downloaded so I can download them using my id and password?

Drag the app icon out of the Apps folder and drop it in the Trash. If you want to make sure that you got all associated files use a deletion app such as AppCleaner.

I read your advice to uninstall an app.using AppCleaner.This seems confusing.When I check the file location to see the total package contents,the file shows considerable more MB's than when I use AppCleaner and not near as much.Using AppCleaner would mean I would be leaving a considerable amount of residual garbage.Why is the AppCleaner not cleaning everything out.If i was to delete from the file location and send it to trash,would I be deleting support files.

A friend of mine she has a website that her ex-husband did with iWeb. Now she wants me to edit it. How can I do this in iWeb?

The file needed is titled domain.sites and would be located in the Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder on the ex-husband's computer. If that file can be obtained you can edit and continue to manage the site.
Otherwise you'll have to start over from scratch. Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the creation of the new site.

You cannot because it can only be redeemed in the UK store. Buy the real album and send it to your friend by mail or other shipping option.

How can I register an iphone that someone else bought?

My coworker has purchased two iPhone 5s via the store.apple.com and therefore with his Apple ID. One for him and one for me. (He is traveling at the moment and therefore unavailable, so this may have to wait before I can resolve this.)
When I go to https://supportprofile.apple.com and attempt to register the serial number for my phone, I am presented with: "According to our records, this serial number is registered to another Apple ID."
I'm quite sure my coworked did not register this phone under his Apple ID at this web site as I unpacked it from the box.
How do I go about resolving this?

If it's unlocked, you put your SIM card in it and follow the on screen directions. If it is NOT unlocked, you contact the carrier it's locked to and find out if you're eligible to have it unlocked.
