How can I go back to iDVD 5?

I am having problems with iDVD 6 that I did not have with version 5.
Since it is not a widescreen I don't really need 6 right now. I do not have time to screw around and try to fix it - these have to be done by the end of today.
I tried taking 6 off and reinstalling 5 from the original disk but wasn't allowed to (only offered to reinstall iTunes). Do I need version 3 or 4 on there already in order for it to install? If so, how do I get that?

I was able to get back to version 5 after using Find to uncover all the supporting files for version 6 (there were at least 2 preference files). After removing all of those I was able to get 5 to show up as an option on the application disk and get it to install. No problems.

Me too Clausto - I am in the same boat and feel STRONGLY the same way.

After finding out iMovie '08 has NO - "CHAPTER MARKERS"
("What were they THINGKING")
and now to find out there is a BUG in iDVD 7.0.1,
(APPLE - THIS IS TOO MUCH. I am soooo DISSIPOINTED with iMove '08 + iDVD 7.0.1 so far),
when burning a DVD disc (5 times now), a window opens and says,
MULTIPLIXER ERROR - "There was an error during formatting".
This happens in the same place - 1 minute before the end of the burn.
I have also used different DVD discs.
Deleted iDVD job, SHUT DOWN Computer, After 1 min switched back ON,
re-installed job into iDVD 7.0.1, and would you believe it - BANG - ERROR.
Next step was nearly to pull out my hair.
THIS IS VERY BAD FOR ALL OF US.
I have WAISTED my the WHOLE DAY - My customer is very VERY upset with me.
I will HAVE TO - NO - FORCED TO revert back to iMovie HD 6 and iDVD 6.
Waisting MORE TIME.
APPLE - IF YOU REALLY CARE YOU WILL FIX UP THE DESIGN + BUGS in both iMove '08 and iDVD 7.0.1 = NOW
Please tell us how to download iDVD 6 again. iMovie HD 6 has been re-installed.

How can I go back the same song that was playing when I switched and watched a movie?

How can I go back to the same song and place in the song that was playing when I started watching a movie? I have over 6k songs and now my ipod always goes back to #1 even though I may have been listening to # 321. How do I ever get to listen to all my songs. Yes I have it on random but if I look at the songs I have played lots of them have played 15-20 times amd many more 6-8 times. At this point I don't feel I will ever hear the latest songs I added.
Any help will be greately appreciated. Also is it possible to do the same on the new ipod classic 160?

One area that this appears is on Facebook where it lists the number of Recognized Devices. There are six devices which include iPad and iPhone. These items are grayed and you are unable to change. Also on my iphone it lists the computer name. This name is different from name of my computer. It's what I signed in as when I installed the Mountain Lion upgrade. I know I'm not doing a good job of explaining this. I have searched everywhere on my computer that I can think of and cannot locate where this is used. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have a application which has been developed in ASP .NET, Version 4.0. Help link has been created in this application wherein here the Start up page of index.htm has been linked to be read from the RoboHelp local project folder\!SSL!\Multiscreen_HTML5\desktop. All are working absolutely fine except when
I login into the above-said application -> click on the Help page -> the index.htm opens with Contents, Index, Glossary -> Am able to successfully perform any task by respective clickings
-> But I am not able to get back into my application when I click on the IE provided Back button (Alt+Left) -> Any amount of invoking Back button makes the system getting looped into this Start up page of index.htm only -> When I Close Tab (Ctrl + W) or Close ( X ) -> The window session gets closed and I have to repeat all by relogin once again.
How can I get back into my application aftermath invoking Start up page of index.htm ?
(I can always get back into the application easily by erasing those parts in the url which refers to this RoboHelp linkages – but this certainly looks non-polished work)

Hey Jeff, I used Internet Explorer 10.0.9200 and Google Chrome 26.0.1410. Alas - it is the same behavior.
(But Jeff : When I used Microsoft HTML Help as primary layout to generate chm file , My Help when launched from my Application opened in a new browser window and when I closed this Help browser window did not close my application. Looks like need to write few liner code to get this issue settled )

LR on your laptop is still a desktop version. It is just now able to upload to the cloud to replicate photos to either http://lightroom.adobe.com/ or an iPad that has LR Mobile installed.
I think you probably just want to change the LR 5 identity plate back so it doesn’t mention LR Mobile all the time. Hover over the identity-plate area, and click on the little triangle that appears, then choose Change Identity Plate.

Double clicking on the box will open the image in a separate window. It's very slow and tedious for multiple images. How can I go back to attached and displayed images? If I click on "Forward", the images appear instantly in the email to be forwarded.

My problem seemed to fix itself. Or, by shutting down the computer one night, instead of putting it to sleep, may have reset something. Since updating to Mavericks, I always (or usually) let the computer sleep overnight or anytime I'm walking away from it. A few days ago, I was updating notes for my kids about how to find all my stuff and how to turn on my computer, so I wanted to rewrite the start-up procedures for the iMac, just in case they ever need to. Well, I shut it down one night so the following morning, I could write down each step. Lo and behold, the images, etc. are all there again! Solved, but I'm not sure why.

Ok, I had a glitch, forced to restart, and lost my train of thought.
Reinstalling iTunes should fix the major issue that might have gone wrong, perhaps your explaination points will disappear and everything will be peachy again.
But if they don't, you can open the XML file in iTunes Folder using a Text edit program to see what the common pathname is to the iTunes Music folder or where your content is located.
If you moved the itunes folder, it needs to go back.
I can't download iTunes to my Vista virtual machine to test it out right now because iTunes is down, so I can't verify the pathname, perhaps your issue and the iTunes being down are related somehow?
You don't want to import all your music again, but it's a option, but you lose all your playlists, that's what I'm trying to recover.
If oyu don't have a whole lot of playlists, then simply select all the explaimation point music and delete, select File from the menu and import your itunes folder again.

In general the track will go back to the menu you left, but this is dependent on the player you are using in many cases, and the way that you author the disc. You can ensure it goes to the correct menu in several ways.
Firstly, you can use stories - place all the markers from the track into a story and point the menu button to the story container. You can set the end jump and menu call properties for a story to be independent of a track. Stories also do not replicate the track asset, so in effect you are creating a play list which has everything in it. You can create up to 99 tracks, stories and slideshows on a single disc, with any combination of these up to the maximum of 99 overall.
Secondly, you could use scripting, and again there are several ways to do what you want. Scripting is not too difficult for this kind of functionality, but you need to get to grips with a few terms and structures when you write scripts. Much of it is taken care of for you by the script editor - it's impossible to type freely into a script command so you can only choose the correct things... but you need to do so in the correct order!
One scripting method is to make the menu button jump to a script before you go to the track. The script sets up a unique value and you can look for the value when you want to return to a menu. Depending on what you find you will go to one of your three possible menus. That script looks like this:

You would change the value to be 2 or 3 for the other two scripts. Then, you set the menu call for the track and the end jump to go to a script like this:
Jump menu1 If(GPRM0 = 1)
Jump menu1 If(GPRM0 = 2)
Jump menu1 If(GPRM0 = 3)
Now, the disc will return to the correct menu, but go to the default button on that menu. If you have lots of buttons then you might want to expand that script to be sure to get to the right one. This was a question that came up recently and I wrote out two methods to do it - have a little hunt around in the forum to find those threads!
