How can I have a collective AWR report for RAC database in 10gR2 and 11gR1?

Plz correct me here
awrrpt.sql takes the snapshot at the instance level and incase we have 5 instances we have to take 5 awr reports for a particular period.correct???
If above is true ,any wayout to collect a single collective AWR report for RAC database which includes information on all the instances in Oracle 10g R2 or 11gR1 ?

I have never come across a way for this. though I can n't say it is not there.
But I guess it may not be feasible too becuase as we know the current AWR report contains data which is specific for one instance.
Various hit ratios, top events, instance effeciency reports.... what not ..
It would be really nice to see something is a new format where it lists values from each instance in a single report.. I guess such a thing Does not exiist as of now.

Yes, you can certainly create a new Apple ID at appleid.apple.com (which will have to be associated with a different email address from your current ID) and then change the various settings and applications on one of your iPhones to use this new ID.

Right Click on the first email in thread and choose:

This open in a new tab and will include all emails both received and sent by you in that conversation.
It will appear just like the oiginal view with oldest on top.
Then click on the thread icon to remove the 'threaded' view.
in my case the list is then sorted by Date with newest on top. So easily identifying the newest email.
But if required you could clickon Date column header.

Note: If the new email in the thread is unread:
View > Threads > Threads with unread
This will produce a list of the received emails in the thread
If you then remove the threaded view by clicking on the thread column header, it will list emails by Date in whatever order you desire.
Unfortunately, this only works with an unread email, so once you have read that email you cannot easily do this again to locate the email in the conversation unless you use the Workaround previously described.

You need to customize the trigger as the button and you can use the target to insert desired text box or images.

Yes, ideally you should use the same AppleID for all your devices.

Just use a different Apple ID for iMessage. You can continue to share the same ID for iTunes and use separate IDs for other services such as iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, etc.
Have them go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with separate IDs. To prevent getting each other's FaceTime calls, do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

How can I use a script to search for a list of filenames and copy them to another directory

I'm quite new to using scripts etc and wondered if anyone could help? I've only ever modified preset folder scripts so making one from scratch is a bit new to me, but it would also be great if anyone else has done this before if they could pass on there script and ill modify to suit my needs.
I will be recieving a tab delimited file containing a list of 150 - 200 clips every day and I need to pull those files onto a hard drive.
All of the files are housed in one folder on the internal media drive and I would like to be able to have applescript / automator / whatever either look through the tab file and then move the files in the tab file from the internal media drive to the external transport drive or I copy and paste the filenames into the script and run it and the script moves the files from the internal media drive to the external transport drive.

Can we have the same iCloud account for 2 Macs, 2 iPhones and an iPad?

My partner and I each have an iMac and an iPhone, and we have an iPad which we both use. It suits us to have a single iCloud account because we share all calendars and contacts.
However, we're about to upgrade our iPhones and I've read that if both the old and the new device has iOS 5 or later, the data transfer should be done via iCloud. Please can anyone tell me if 2 iPhones can be backed up to iCloud (currently they're backed up to the iMacs) without causing difficulty? Each phone has a different name attached to it, so I guess it may be OK if they're done one at a time. Or maybe it's OK to do the data transfer via iTunes, even though the iOS is 6.1.6...?

How can I find out the server port for a secured FTP site and creating a FTP Connection Manager

I have to create a FTP Task to go out and get the files that our 3rd party vendor will be dropping on a secured FTP site. I have all the credentials to access that Secured FTP Site and have successfully done so through FileZilla.
Now I need to set-up a FTP Task to go out and get their files and in so doing create a FTP Connection Manager. Is there any way I can determine the
Server Port number from the Secured FTP site? I let it default to 21 and tried the Test Connect and it failed.

How can I have uniform volume of audio for my vocal in FCPX?

I have sung a song in GB and have imported the same into FCPX:
I had sung the first stanza at a higher volume than the second stanza, as you may discern from the screenshot above.
Can anyone tell me how I can get the audio volume of both the first and second stanzas to be of the same level?

Let me explain my need by this screenshot:
Arrow 1 is pointing to the audio file which was shown in my first screenshot in my opening post. Arrow 2 is the same audio file which I had edited in FCPX, and the effects I had added to the file can be seen in the inspector window. These effects have been able to bring about decrease in the audio levels of both the fist and second stanzas. Also, FYI, I was watching the audio meters peaks while the song was playing and had used the volume control parameter in the inspector window to bring down the volume wherever required [allowing them to hover between -6 to 0 db.
What I would like to have directions further would be this: How to have a uniform volume of audio throughout the audio using the various controls available in FCPX? My problem is this: even in the first stanza above, I have sung the first verses at a higher level than the latter part of the stanza! I have watched my music composer edit my 'completed vocal' in his editing software: he had some 'effect' by which he was able to have the entire audio clip have the same volume throughout...highs were brought down and the lows were brought up. I would like to know how to achieve such an effect in FCPX.

How can I have separate Libraries in iTunes for my Children?

I have bought my children iPod Touch devices for Christmas this year and would like to set up accounts and libraries for each of them (3 in total, one for the Mrs!) so I can sync them and put some games and apps on ready for use.
Is it possible to have multiple Libraries on one computer? I know I can open iTunes accounts for each of them but they're not at that stage yet but will - at some point - require different games, apps and whatnot.
I'm sure a friend of mine has a different iTunes library for him and his wife on the same computer and they don't have any sync'ing problems at all...

You can likely set up different user accounts on the computer and have a library in each account. I use a Mac so I can't be more specific on user accounts on Windows.
Alternatively you can set up different libraries inside a single user account. I'ts a bit cumbersome switching between them though. You can create and switch betwween libraries by holding down the shift key while starting iTunes, then guide it to the library you wish to use.
Another possibility would be to sync just playlists, not everything. While there are ways to share items between libraries using other methods, this one has the advantage that all the things are in one library and each person makes their selection.

As for AppleID and accounts, you might consider setting up sooner rather than later. The main problem with Apple purchases is you cannot transfer them between accounts. If you give a child a song for a birthday and purchase it on your account, it is forever tied to your account. If in 10 years your child wants to take with them to college you'll have to give them access to your whole account or always be authorizing their devices which you may not wish to do.

To organize my bookmarks in a faster and more efficient way. I would like to be able to have 2 bookmark library windows open or the possibility to split the screen. So I can drag & drop bookmarks from one folder to another without having to cut/paste and to scroll from bottom

How can I have each pass through a for loop communicate with a new indicator?

Hello,
I am using 16 color boxes to indicate how 16 channels are behaving. If a color box is blue, its respective channel is running correctly, red means it has failed etc. I am continuously checking each channel using a loop, and I wanted to update the channel colors every loop. I have made an array of 16 numbers corresponding to the color I wish to have (which are blue = running, red = failed, green = completed, black = not in use). However, I cannot find a way to pull these 16 numbers out of the array and to the color boxes short of 16 index arrays connected to the color boxes.
I understand how to convert each individual number to a color, I just don't know how to use a 16 times for loop to communicate with a different color box each pass through. Is there any way to do this or should I just go for brute force?
