How can I have a single cursor using elements 9 with Windows 7?

Currently the cursor on my screen is 3 small boxes in place of the single arrow. I am using Photoshop Elements 9 With Windows 7. I have loaded the patch files currently in the Adobe system without any success.

How / can I have jpg logo objects used on reports automatically updated after making changes to the repository copy of the jpg logo object in the repository? The reports are in the enterprise items folder of the repository and the logo.jpg file is in a subfolder of repository items. Yes, I understand that... the problem I was having was that check box being unchecked whenever an unrelated change was made to rpt file... I was able to ensure that it remained checked by doing save as to the rpt file and making sure the "enable repository refresh" box was checked and replacing the file when prompted upons saving the rpt file...

How can I have a browser image that scrolls with images on top of it scrolling in tandem - so the background is a hexagon pattern with small images inside some hexagons and I want them all to be scrollable as a user uses the browser scroll bars. At the moment the background image jumps when I preview so the small hexagons all become out of alignment. Any tips appreciated. I have browser image set to tile - pinned at the middle and set to scrolling - the small images are not pinned -

Thanks for your answer - The images on the top layer are also links and change to show they're links on rollover - so I wanted to keep them as separate graphics - and it works to a point but when I preview the page in a browser the tiled browser image always moves no matter how I pin it and then everything becomes unaligned. Any further suggestions appreciated.

From what I read you can't. If you used Boot Camp to partition the Macintosh hard drive so you could install Win 7 on a boot camp partition you are locked into that one partition.
If you try to RE-partition that BC partition Win 7 won't boot, and IIRC there is a possibility of OS X not booting (Not sure about that). I just went through this myself.
That's one of the big reason I have gone back to Win PCs as my main systems.
Mac's are OK but to restrictive in what you can do with the hardware, and the OS IMHO.

Try quitting Safari like I describe, then reset the iPad. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
I would also suggest that you check to make sure that you have enough free space on your iPad for it to run efficiently. With iOS 8 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.

I am using JHeadstart, but have a question probably more in the ADF area. On the JHeadstart forum I asked:
"I am overriding JhsApplicationModule's advancedSearch in order to be able to search in childtables. I created transient attributes, display those in advanced search and in the overridden method I check if any of these are filled by the user and create a where clause like 'EXISTS (SELECT 1 FROM <childtable> WHERE <column in childtable> = <column in EO's table> AND <another column in childtable> LIKE '<value supplied by user>)'. I add this whereclause using ViewObject.setWhereClause.
So far so good and it works. However, if the user selects 'Result matches any criteria', combining setWhereClause and the normal advancedSearch QueryByExample implementation using ViewCriteriaRow do not provide the desired result, since the ViewCriteria and the setWhereClause are AND-ed together, which is fine if the user selects the (default) "Results match all criteria" (everything is AND-ed) but not the "Result matches any criteria", since then every criterium is OR-ed together, except for the setwhereclause criteria and the set of ViewCriteriaRows, they are AND-ed.
I looked if I could specify that a WhereClause will be OR-ed to existing applied ViewCriteria, but no luck. Do I have to rewrite also advancedSearch's ViewCriteria implementation and write an entire setWhereClause implementation to be able to "OR" every criterium? Or any other suggestions? Can I look at the entire Where clause and rewrite it (after applyCriteria and setWhereClause are called on the VO)?

Sandra Muller (JHeadstart Team) told me today: "This sounds like a JDeveloper/ADF issue that is not related to JHeadstart. The question is: how can you add a where clause using "OR" if there are already one or more ViewCriteria applied?
To simplify the test case, you could create a simple ADF BC test client class in a test Model project without JHeadstart (in the test class, use bc4jclient + Ctrl-Enter), in which you first apply a few ViewCriteriaRows to a View Object and also add a where clause.

How can I have 2 apple id using same iphone?

I have lost my phone and am using my daughters phone. I have switched my phone number to her physical device. I want to reset with my apple id to bring in my contacts and text messages (if possible) and pictures and Notes. But, I would like for her to be able to access her account too. Is that possible? Can you have two logins on same phone?

Naw I figure it out without all that had to go into the FaceTime settings and only use the phone number on the iphone and only use the Apple ID on the iPad works great now no need for two Apple ID or any signing in and out.

Just signed up here, ot the brightest with tech stuff. I'm trying to get my Powershot A620 to work with Windows 7. I'm guessing there's drivers I need to down load ? Will they be on the Canon website or on this help site ?

If you need photo software and don't have any you can download Canon software here.

But if you already have software you use there is nothing special you need. Ether connect the camera using a USB cable or remove the SD card from the camera and use a card reader (either an external one or the computer may already have one built in.)
If you decide to connect the camera via USB you don't need a driver; its built into W7.

How can I get Acrobat 7 Pro to work with Windows 8.1 Pro?

Apparently Acrobat Pro 7 is not compatible with Windows 8.1 Pro X64. I am trying to save a web page to pdf but this feature does not work in Windows 8.1 Pro. Is there a patch or update that will fix this problem?

It might be possible to get a lot of it working, but you will have to install a separate PS driver and rename it Adobe PDF and set the port to File. The print process is then to print to the Adobe PDF printer and then open the created file in Distiller to complete the process. I have been successful with this on a Win7, 64-bit system, but not tried it on a Win8 system. You are pretty much on your own if problems arise, unless you are willing to try wild suggestions that we might give (guesses really).

How can I have one calendar on one machine with 2 users

I just replaced my macbook with a mac mini. I created a second account, for my wife, on the machine. Being 2 retired people, we don't need separate calenders. In fact, we often need to see what the other is doing. So, what i'd like to do is have one shared library for each of the following:
Calender, Address Book, and of course IPhoto.
I believe the way to do this is to have the library file for each application stored under the system top level library that is shared system wide. But, I don't have a clue how to do this. We do not use iCloud do to security concerns.

To move Contacts, calendar data, etc. information from Android to iOS you can use third party Apps on both devices the Apps will move this information to the "Cloud" with one App and back to your other device with another App.

No, that's not the problem. The problem is:
    JInternalFrame MyActiveFrame;
    MyActiveFrame = MyDesktop.getSelectedFrame();
    Button Boutton1 = MyActiveFrame.Boutton1;You are declaring MyActiveFrame as a JInternalFrame, not as the class you defined that extends JInternalFrame. Since JInternalFrame has no member named Boutton1, then MyActiveFrame.Boutton1 will cause the error.
For example:
    public class MyFrame extends JInternalFrame {
        public Button Boutton1 = ...;
    };If you did something like:
    JInternalFrame frame = getOneOfMyFrames();
    Button b = frame.Boutton1;You would get an error. You need to do:
    MyFrame frame = getOneOfMyFrames();
