How can I have several individual animations in one?

Hey everyone.
I am trying to replicate an effect similar to this website: http://www.central.wa.edu.au/Pages/default.aspx
Their is one animation, however if you click into the area the animtion will pause on one of several sections, and produce arrows to move backwards in the animtion.
Is event based animtion like this possible using edge?

It would require a bit of script for next and previous buttons.

hi... if i create several arrange tracks with the 'New with same channel strip/instrument' command i cant mute them in the arrange window independently it seems ? For example i want 10 arrange tracks all playing the same Battery Kit/instance but be able to mute them independently through automation for example. For the moment when i mute one of the tracks the whole instrument gets muted.
i'm a bit confused since i'm new to logic from cubase ... can i not just use 'midi tracks and parts' like in cubase ?

My first though was to suggest that you check Preferences>Audio>General, and make sure "Track Mute/Solo" is set to "CPU Saving (Slow response). This will allow you to mute and solo each track copy individually.
However, this will not help you in this situation, because the mute button will be muting the actual channel strip, like a mixer, so you will always be muting the whole thing.
It's easiest to simply make cuts right on the MIDI regions, and mute the regions themselves, in the spots of the song you want them muted. Either that, or mute the MIDI on/off events themselves, within the Piano Roll window.

HOW CAN I HAVE DUMMY FACT TABLES IN ONE UNION REPORT

So, I am trying to have a report from 4 different subject areas. Each of these have transaction numbers under Fact-table. B’se these fact tables are under different subject area I can’t have them in one report, (fact table has to be a one to many relationship and not otherwise). How do I make sure I end up with a transaction number from atleast 1 subject area and ignore the other ones or avoid the error
Also in addition, I have to have the last 4 digits of the credit card number which is located in only one of those 4 subject area. How do I make sure its included with my final report eventhough its not in other subject areas? Please please help I am still new in this business

You got two choices:
A. Use OBIEE:
1) Create a OBIEE logical SQL like

2) Test this SQL from "Issue SQL" section in answers.
3) Once tested, open a new analysis, go to Advanced tab and put this tested logical SQL in the SQL section and apply it. If you come back to criteria tab, you will see 5 fields are created for you.
This is technically feasible. Pulling this off is hard and this is a maintenance nightmare.
Since you are self-proclaimed newbie, I would suggest you take the alternative: fixing it through ETL. Create a new fact and write an ETL job to load this fact from other facts and dimensions. Then model it in RPD. This is more work but if you mess something up in the process of implementing first option, you may need to apply nearly same effort to fix that. Choice is yours.

I have a late model iMac and am running Lion. I have an account for myself with admin privileges. I also have an iTunes account and a music and video library in iTunes. I sync my iPod and iPhone to the iTunes account regularly.
I recently added my spouse as a "Standard" user. She has an iTunes account, an iPhone and an iPad. How do I get her iTunes configured to download her music and apps to sync with her devices without destroying my own music and apps in the process? We keep getting a warning that all my stuff will be deleted without the possibility of reinstatement for 90 days! What is up?

I agree with Chris CA that this is the way I would *expect* iTunes to behave.
When I look at iTunes from my account (my music is in ~/Music/iTunes/ and not available to my spouse's account), I can see in my music library all my rips and my purchases, just as I would expect. I can use Store>View My Account (<myAppleID>) and all is as expected. Home sharing is NOT on.
Doing the same from the other account is not much different, actually. Nothing in the library yet, of course. Store>View My Account (<herAppleID>) also works. I CAN authorize my computer to play her music. I CAN view her iTunes purchases. When I attempt to download the purchases to HER library, though, I get the following dialog box:
Now I interpret this to mean that this computer (mine) will not download from a different AppleID (also mine) for 90 days. Is that [interpretation] correct?

I am completely new to this photo package. I love to take photo's and wanted to do something special with a few I took at my brothers wedding.
I'd really like to know, please, if anyone can help me?
I have (for example) a picture of my sister in law holding her flowers. I'd like to leave the flowers in colour, but the rest of the photo in black and white, can I do that? I've tried the few fade options, but it doesnt' do quite what I want.
Also, the weather was awful, and I didnt' get chance to take all the photos I wanted.
I'd like to lift them out of one photo, and add them to the back drop of the venue they got married at, is that possible too?

Clair, As to you first question, converting to B&W but leaving a portion in color, here are several ways. The first is probably the easiest but I included the rest since they are in my "bag of tricks". In all of the methods, use a soft brush or eraser if you want a soft transition between the color and b&w portions. Method 1 1. Add Hue/Saturation layer, move Saturation slider all the way left to remove color. 2. Set Foreground & Background colors to B&W defaults. 3. Paint with black to reveal color, paint with white to remove color. Tip: type "x" to toggle black & white. Method 2 1. Duplicate Background layer. 2. Remove color: Enhance > Adjust Color > Remove Color Enhance > Adjust Color > Hue/Saturation, move Saturation all the way left. 3. Use Eraser tool to reveal color from Background layer. Method 3 1. Select the area you want to keep the color, make it a new layer. 2. In background layer, Enhance > Adjust Color > Remove Color Enhance > Adjust Color > Hue/Saturation, move Saturation all the way left. Method 4 1. Create a blank layer above the Background layer and set its Blend Mode to Color. 2. Paint with default black or white to remove color. 3. Use Eraser to restore color. Method 5 1. Create blank layer above Background layer and set its Blend Mode to Color. 2. Select the area you want to keep the color, and invert the selection. 3. Fill the selection with default black or white to remove the color, and deselect. 4. To remove excess color paint with default black or white. To remove excess b&w use the Eraser. As to your second question, moving a person from one pic to another, this is also easy to do: 1. Use the various selection tools to select the person. 2. Copy the selection to the clipboard (Edit>Copy, or Ctrl-C). 3. Open the destination pic, and paste from the clipboard (Edit>Paste, or Ctrl-V). This places the person on a new layer with transparent background. 4. Use the Move tool to reposition or resize the person as needed. When resizing, hold down <Shift> while dragging a corner handle; <Shift> preserves the aspect ratio so that the subject is not distorted by the drag. Tip: after you select in step 1, feather the selection 1 or 2 pixels so the pasted person does not look so "pasted".

You can move a tab from one window to another by clicking on it and dragging.
