How can I hide the thought bubble when typing?

Very simple, I'd love to know how to hide the bubble with the ellipsis that pops up for others to see when I'm typing. I'm hoping this is an easy question for someone to answer.
I knew how to do it before, but now not so much.

Don't think there's any way of doing it in iChat but maybe some of the add-ons (such as Chax) can do it.

When I save to PDF so the form can be filled out it saves the Master Page as the first page though it has no content. I have to save the PDF as a static file because it needs to be filled out on the iPad.

Hmm,
Not really. Acrobat must display at least one page of the form. You can set the presence of all of your Design Pages to hidden, but Acrobat will display at least one instance of the Master Page.
The Master Page is available in LC Designer for objects that you want to repeat on more than one page. Yes, typically this includes header and footer objects.
If you want to hide all of your main form pages, then include a blank page and display this when hiding all of the other pages. See an example here: http://assure.ly/frjYW5.

Unforrtunately the status bar doesn't make any difference, however I have worked out that the bar does show when I go into full screen.
I would have thought it should also work when not in full screen - it certianly used to.

Go to your Home Folder > Pictures. Here is your iPhoto Library If you didn't assign a special name then the default will be "iPhoto Library". Control-click for the contextual menu (right click if using a mouse with a secondary button) and choose; "Show Package Contents".In that new window that opens find something like this: "Originals > 2011 > …". Keep clicking open the folders until you find the desired photo. Now you can Option-drag it to the Desktop.
No, don't do that.
1. Accessing your files in the Library package is not supported
2. It's dangerous. You can easily trash your Library doing this.
3. It's inefficient. Rooting through all the folders of the Library is slow. Even iPhoto's Show File command is better than that.
4. It's utterly unneceeasy. Just use the application in the way it's designed to work. It's safe and fast. Simply set Preview (or whatever) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Preview or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.
Other than that:
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.

Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File: a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected. 3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

I'm creating a login page and know I have a problem.
The Username and password are verified in a Java class, after checking the user and password, the user should be linked to the portal.
So far everything has worked well.
But when I call the lin like this

then the user name and Pwasswort appears in the url.
Can someone tell me how can I hide the password and user name???

If there is no specific reason that you have to use sendredirect...thne you can try request.forward.....

How can I hide the borders and keep it as an option? I had someone go into the css I believe, and make it so there were no borders visible on the page (I could see the dotted outline while working on it, but when pushed, it wasn't visible (which is what I wanted). They called it "noborders." Since I had to reinstall, it went away. Help?

I have no problem running with tomcat that contain chinese, but when I run the apache which is the same code as the tomcat are running, it cause error 500. I debug it , and found out that it was the chinese that cause the problem. once I took out the chinese, then it works find. Can any one tell me why?

In the photoshop preferences under Interface you can set Show Transformation Values to Never

I wrote an application server(daemon process) to talk with oracle server
continuous which used oracle9 OCCI lib, each 5 min it executes the procedure
on the DB server.
Now I have come cross a problem:
If the network is blocked, app server will blocked at occi call and would
never pass, and no exception was catched :-(
for e.g.
1. Oracle server reboot without shutdown oracle process
2. udp broadcast message storm blocked the connection between app server and
oracle DB.
I consider maybe it's because OCCI using the blocking mode of connection
that caused this problem.
How can I interrupt the blocking call when call timeout?

Manage the timeout using a separate thread. When the timeout happens, issue a break on the OCCI connection. There is no direct way as of now. You need to do this to break a OCCI connection.
retrieve the OCI handle from the OCCI handle (e.g. using Connection::getOCIServer or Connection::getOCIServiceContext methods) and issue a OCIBreak on it. Do not forget to allocate a error handle which should be passed to OCIBreak call.
