How can I hide the user name and password from the url address?

Good afternoon every body,
I have a form running with Oracle9i Developer Suite Release 2 and when I run the form on the web it shows the user name and password of my data base. Can anyone of you please help me to hide the user name and password, if there's any way of course?.

Then, as inolau's notice, create logon screen (or use the default one) and force the users to logon at runtime. Do not pass username/password as parameters.

True that if the connection is specified in the config it will be the same for everyone. However, every case is different. For example one of our apps gets S3 credentials (from non-Oracle S3) as session parameters. It uses this common db connection to validate some stuff with the database, read security definitions and then it re-connects the forms using the credentials.

You found them ... where? Are they in Safari somewhere?
If so, do Settings > Safari > Clear History and Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies and Data
If that doesn't clear them (and they are from Safari), try Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data and clear that area.

Sorry if this posted twice I am NEW. I thought I could just go back to what I typed and add to it. Mom had a computer it died they are putting in the old drive on the new computer as a slave. What are the steps I need to do to transfer ALL the bookmarks, user names and passwords onto the new computer. We will have 3 desktops do we have to do the same steps on each desktop? Try using the forgot password link when you are on the sign in screen. The username is always the email address you registered with, so put your email in and it should send a password reset link. If you have multiple email addresses and dont remember which one you used try this with each email until you get a reset link.

Resetting User Password in Lion, Mountain Lion & Mavericks
Boot into your Recovery Partition by hold down the Command and R keys whilst booting.
When the Recovery screen appears, go to the Utilities menu and open Terminal.
In Terminal, type:
resetpassword
...a small app will open and allow you to choose the user for whom you want to change the password. If you are the admin, be certain that you choose your admin user. Type in your new password twice and give yourself a good hint. Click OK (or Done or whatever) and reboot, enjoying the use of your new, hopefully memorable, password.

How can we hide the URL with Webdispatcher after SSO redirect

We have setup SSO with Kerberos and SPNEGO for NWBC and now we want to expose it to the internet via SAP Webdispatcher.
NWBC is on a singelstack ABAP system on server1 and we have configured a standalone J2EE system on server 2 for isuing the saplogon ticket.
This works fine with the redirect from icf NWBC -> Error Pages -> Logon Error -> Redirec to URL (Form Fields) http://server2:port/redirect/redirect.jsp
on server2 we have a java application (redirect/redirect.jsp) witch has %response.sendRedirect("http://server1:port/nwbc")%
Problem is that when the webdispatcher calls http://server1:port/nwbc the URL in the browser is hidden with MYDOMAIN.COM/nwbc but when the Logon-error (no saplogon ticket yet) is redirecting to http://server2:port/redirect/redirect.jsp the browser is showing the actual URL http://server2:port/redirect/redirect.jsp and also when returning to NWBC the browser is showing http://server1:port/nwbc.
And we don't wan't to expose hostnames (server1 and server2) to the internet.

Regarding your question you have to configure Web Dispatcher for both AS JAVA and AS ABAP and refer to Web Dispatcher URLs only. That includes ICF node configuration and the redirect servlet. The URL generation in AS ABAP needs to be configured so that URLs are generated to point to the Web Dispatcher. Use table HTTPURLLOC for that.

I'm trying to use Migration Assistant to move data from my PC over to my new iMac. It wants a name/password. Everything I've tried (which I've always used) doesn't work...???!!! Help! How do I find out my name/password for Migration assistant????

Password for the Mac. It is trying to write to the Mac hard drive in an area that is restricted and only access by typing in the Mac Admin password.
Or at least that is how I see it.

Migration assistant really doesn't work. Even when it looks like it is working it leave you with unintended consequences.
Also there is Nothing on your Windows PC that the Mac can use. No programs or settings. The only thing you can use on the Mac from Windows are your presonal files, Music, images and office data files.
So it is easier to just copy them over to the Mac then using MA, as you may have found out.
