3 things you need to transfer music from iPod to itunes: iPod, computer, iTunes.
step 1 connect your ipod to your computer via the white USB cable.
step 2 open My Computer, or just Computer from the start menu and look for the ipod drive. It should be in the (F:) drive. You will see the ipod logo in the listing of disk drives.
step 3 Now you should have a new folder called ipod_control. Open that folder up and you should see the following: Calendar, Contacts, ipod_control, notes, photos, ect. If you are trying to save all of your music then the ipod_control folder is the only one you need to worry about.
step 3 Open the ipod_control folder then open the music folder. Copy each one of those folders (should look similar to these: F00, F01 ...) onto your computer.
step 3 Open itunes and insert the new folder you created on your computer's desktop into: library ---> Music

Preliminary conditions:
Through settings, you must log the Apple TV in with your iCloud account.
In iTunes, choose Advanced > Turn on Home Sharing from the menu bar.
The Apple TV and your computer must be connect to the same network.
The Apple TV is sold in many different countries. However, iTunes is discriminately serviced. Whereas in the United States, movies and musics are sold in their entirety, there is no such services in Korea ― only app purchases. 1. In Windows Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options > View. In the Advanced Settings list, under Hidden files and folders, check the radio button for “Show hidden files and folders”. Then click OK. You’ll get a Windows security warning but it’s safe enough to disregard it as we will only be disabling this function for a short while.
2. Plug in your iPod. In Windows Explorer, a folder will now appear with the name of your iPod.
Double-click on that. Go to the sub-folders “iPod_Control” and then “music”. You’ll find your music there randomly scattered across multiple folders and with scrambled file names. But don’t worry, the ID3 tags are still fully intact and we are now going to “unscramble” the files.
3. But first copy all the music from those iPod folders into a new folder on your hard-drive. Move all the songs into one single folder and discard all the folders that your iPod made. By the end, you should have one folder in your hard-drive with all the scrambled files together.
4. Open up iTunes and do the following : Go to Edit > Preferences. Under the Advanced tab, under the General “sub-tab”, select the local folder where you have copied the music from your iPod (by clicking Change…).
Check the box “Keep iTunes Music folder organized” and click OK. Also make sure you have wiped all previous music from iTunes so your playlists are blank.
5. In iTunes, click “File” then “add folder to library”. Select the folder where all your copied music is. iTunes will now re-import all your music back into the playlists. But more importantly, because you have previously clicked “Keep iTunes Music Folder organised”, iTunes will now start renaming and organising your songs into their correct names, albums and folders. This may take a while depending on how many songs you have in your iTunes library.

if youre music was in the default plcae for music to be kept (mine is C:\Users\*whatever youre name is*\Music)
and you have removable storage (flash drive or an external HDD) just go to where you have youre music stored select youre data and move it to the usb flashdrive/HD then just plug it in to the other pc and if you have itunes installed go to C:\Users\*ur username here*\Music
iTunes\ITunes Media then drag it into the automatically added to itunes folder.
this is basically the same on xp\vista\7 excpet vista\7 have "libraries" kinda just shortcuts to where the data is stored by default.

That is correct. The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases. the iphone is not a backup device and does not function as a storage drive.
it has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.n Use your backup copy to put everything back.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. If you put it in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)
