How can I import personal certificates into firefox that are not pkcs12 files (.cer or other)?

I am trying to import .cer personal certificat into mozzila so I can go to an secure site (bank account online) but cannot do it since it is not pkcs12 type of file. Can you help me.

I tied that, but when I try to import them to mozzila all it wants are pkcs12 files. It does not accept any other.

To revert to the previous secure version which is 3.6.19, please do the following: 
#Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.19] and download it to the desktop. 
#Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to "Mozilla Firefox" and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (''don't checkmark the box''). 
#Then reboot and delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox 
#Finally run the installation file you downloaded to the desktop earlier. 
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation. 
Having said that, it's always wise to have a backup handy just in case. So please do the following. 
#Click the orange Firefox button and choose "''Bookmarks''", then "''Show All bookmarks''" to open the Bookmarks Manager. 
#Click the link to ''Import and Backup'' at the top. 
#Click "'''Export HTML'''" and save the file somewhere. 
After you complete the installation, please go to the [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ Plugins Check] page and update where necessary.

How can I Import CA Certificate into a new user profile when it's created

I need to deploy a CA Root Certificate to new firefox user profile when it is created in windows. I Seen somewhere that you could place a working copy of cert8.db in %programfiles%\firefox-installation-folder\defaults\profile and this would get added when a new firefox profile is created. However, the profile directory doesn't exist in the defaults folder and when I created it this method still didn't work.
Is there a way to get firefox to create new profiles with preconfigured Certificates?
Right now when new users open firefox for first time it is unable to connect to any SSL sites through our proxy server until the user adds the proxies ca certificate or it gets added later via logon script (at next user logon).

Update... For anyone looking for a similar solution:
I ended up adding more to my logon script I have it check for a user's mozilla profile first and if not found it will use command line "firefox.exe -createprofile default" to make one. After that I just copy a working cert8.db to that new profile. Then when the user opens firefox for first time, it will detect this new profile, and it will load it along with the correct CA Certs intact...
Also, for existing profiles my script just uses nss certutil to add my proxy CA Certificate to the users profile cert8db.

How do I import photos from my ipad that are not in the saved photos folder

I do have a saved photos album and was able to import those. However, I have several other folders and I can't figure out how to get the photos from my iPad to my new iMac. Or for that matter, into the saved photos folder. This is my first experience with iPhoto. Any help? Thanks!

If you want to remove all of your synced photos .....
Connect your iPad to your computer and launch iTunes.
Select your iPad under the devices tab in the upper right or in the left sidebar, if you have the sidebar enabled.
Click on Photos at the top of the iTunes window on the right.
Uncheck the "Sync Photos From" heading
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.
IF that doesn't work, create an empty folder on your desktop and call it "Empty Folder". Select that folder in the "Sync Photos From" heading in the photos tab of iTunes and then click on Apply. That will also remove all synced photos.

I have been on vacation in Costa Rica for about 3 months ! About a month ago I lost my iPhone and all of the photos , however when I checked my ipad the photos were all in photo stream ! *yaaay* , however I was unaware that photo stream automatically deletes all photos after 30 days .. So you can imagine how devastated I was to find that once again all of my photos were gone ! ): I didn't have access to a computer to download the onto and the iPhone is still missing ! Is there ANYWAY possible to retrieve the photos that were in my photo stream up until last evening ): !!! Help would be so so so appreciated as I no longer have any photos of the trip and well .. There are two official Delicious extensions at the moment. Slurp didn't work for me. I got all the prompts like I was supposed to, but clicking the '''Export''' button on the delicious page changed its text to '''Please Wait...''' and it just got stuck like that with no way to continue.
Apart from that, I was rather uneasy about installing an unreviewed extension from an author I've never heard of.

You have that backwards. It's Firefox that does not either import or export tags from or to bookmarks.html. The only way to preserve tags when exporting is to create a json backup; these types of files wipe out all existing bookmarks when imported.

No unfortunately it won't open in quicktime either. It does the same thing that Imovie does, separates it into two file folders audio and video, and if i select video it opens to reveal 8 files that cannot be selected. VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.VOB,VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO, VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VB, VTS_01_3.VOB. All of which cannot be opened or selected.
Opening it in Idvd and folllowing your suggestion works and I get a format code of NTSC. Is that the same? Thank you for your time and response.

If you're trying to bring in information from Contacts, another user (I'll try to find the link) posted a "hidden solution". In Contacts select as many contacts as you want, command-c to copy, then in a Numbers sheet command-v to paste. A table is formed automatically.
