How can I incluce a hyperlink to TDMS file in the report?

Hi,
I am storing the measured data in TDMS file in each step. File name is written to the ResultText property so it is visible in the report.
I would like to have hyperlink in the report that opens this TDMS file automatically either with DIADEM or with the TDMS VIEWER (LabVIEW application)
Any help in creating hyperlink in the report (XML, HTML) would help.

you can also write the links within a new step to the report.

I would like to plott data from a text file in the same way as a media player does from a video file. I’m not sure how to create the pointer slide function. The vi could look something like the attached jpg.

i am not realy sure what you want!?!?
i think you want to display only a part of the values you read from XYZ
so what you can do:
write all the values in an array.
the size of the array is the max. value of the slide bar
now you can select a part of the array (e.g. values from 100 to 200) and display this with a graph
the other option is to use the history function of the graphes

How can I write this string to a file as the ASCII representation in Hex format?

I need to convert a number ( say 16000 ) to Hex string ( say 803E = 16,000) and send it using Visa Serial with the string control in Hex Mode. I have no problem with the conversion (see attached). My full command in the hex display must read AA00 2380 3E...
I can easily get the string together when in Normal mode to read AA0023803E... but how can I get this to hex mode without converting? (i.e. 4141 3030 3233 3830 3345 3030 3030 3031 )

Sorry, The little endian option was probably introduced in 8.0 (?).
In this special case it's simple, just reverse the string before concatenating with the rest.
It should be in the string palette, probably under "additional string functions".
(note that this only works in this special case flattening a single number as we do here. If the stat structure is more complex (array, cluster, etc.) you would need to do a bit more work.
Actually, you might just use typecast as follows. Same difference.
I only used the flatten operation because of the little endian option in my version.

How can I generate my own InDesign ePub file without the encryption.xml file?

My bookstore (B&N) will not accept my ePub file because it doesn't want the file encryption.xml included. How can I generate an InDesign ePub file, for my own books, without it? Is there a check box somewhere? I've searched through the ePub export box and the file info boxes—no luck.
Error message from B&N's PubIt.com:
We have found a file name called encryption.xml within your ePub file container, which means that part of, or all of, your file is encrypted. We do not accept any encryptions within ePub source files. Upon closing this message, please remove the encryption.xml file from your ePub, and you may attempt to upload your ePub file again.
If you wish to apply DRM to your title, go to Section 4, question H and select Yes. PubIt! will apply DRM to your title after you have uploaded your ePub file without encryption.

Unfortunately you will find the option to uncheck "Embeddable Fonts" within ID CC 2014 only if you are creating an ePub with reflowable layout, but not if you are creating a "fixed layout" ePub.
I went with the suggestion of the eCanCrusher and was pleasantly surprised how easy to use this free tool is. You basically just drag your ePub over the icon of the App and it creates a folder in which you find the encryption.xml within the META-INF folder. Once you erased it you drag the folder over the icon of the App and through this you will get a new encryption-free ePub which now passes iTunes Connect Book Proofer test.
But then - opening the ePub without it's encryption within iBooks (on ipad) the text has moved, spaces between words are gone for no reason, words are even sticking into each other - it looks unacceptable! It does look OK on the iBook desktop app, however.
My solution was to change the font from Myriad to Verdana. I had changed the fonts before, because - whatever font I had used - it's reproduction on the ipad was messed up, and Myriad was the first one that I tried that looked alright, though, not so much after removing the encryption.xml. Unfortunately everything changes when you change fonts within a fixed layout ePub and all line breaks have to be revised now...
I also tried to remove the embedded fonts from inside the ePub, like someone else suggested, but that didn't help with the Book Proofer. It's really the encryption.xml that needs to be removed.
I wish that I now finally can submit successfully to Apple and wish that Adobe would have a better relationship with Apple to solve issues like that.

How can I use Auto Import to name files after the folder they are dropped into?

I'm camera tethered on a new Macbook Pro Retina, Lightroom 5, all latest software and OS. Using EOS Utility to connect and drop into a DROP folder. When Lightroom Autoimports, I would like it to rename the file after the destination folder. Capture One has this feature and I could have sworn I saw a drop down menu on one of the naming tokens in LR5 about a month ago. ANY IDEAS?

The closest you can come is to create a File Naming Template that includes "Custom Text" as a part of the file name. Then, you will have to change the Auto Import Settings to use this Template when auto-importing and manually type that folder name in every time you change folders. There is no "Folder" token of which I am aware.

How can I get Firefox to respond to files with the .nxg extension?

I have been trying to open other pages than the home page of this site http://www.marinemachining.com/ and the only way that I can get them to open is to right click the URL button and choose open in a different tab or new window. Just clicking on the button should go to the page (for example "Propeller Shafting" and this will not work. Any help you can give is appreciated. Seems this Netopia file extension .nxg is not dealt with right now unless I have set something up wrong. Otherwise, I love Firefox.

How can appear just some values when i filter in the report

i have a query in a web template, i remember there was a form to do this:
For example in the report there are many analist, A,B,C.
For material 1 the analis A,
For material 2 the analis B,
For material 3 the analis C,
when i filter in the report for material 1. and then the analist, i WANT when i click in filter the suggestion is ANALIST = "A", because is the only analist for this material.
thats my problem when i filter just material A, and click to show the analist , appears ALL the analist in the suggestion of the report and is not correct because if i cliked in analist B the report doesnt bring values , its logic, , i remember some reports when you go filter, the suggestion to show is accord the values that you are showing, can you help me to do this , thanks!

Look at the definition of the infobject and in the query for "Query Execution Filter Value Selection"

How can I movie old imovie 9.0 files to the iMovie Library in iMovie 10

I have figured out how to convert the imovie 9 files into imovie 10, Go into the file menu and go down to udpate projects and events, and that should import you other movies, but it creates a new Libary. I was trying to rename the Libary, but accidently deleted it and now it will not let me update projects and events again
Is there any way I can get the new library back?

I am not sure if this is what you are trying to do or not, but you can use the consolidate media function and copy all events and music as a complete project. This is used to move the project to another computer.

How can I attach artwork to a film file in the new iTunes?

Just recently went through a binge of updates (iOS on phone and iPad, Mavericks, iTunes). Somewhere in the process, I lost the ability to attach artwork to film files (haven't checks TV or albums yet). I go to "get info". I update the genre, sort it as a film, and attach the artwork. All other changes hold, but the artwork is simply lost. If you reopen the "get info" file the artwork is blank. Is this planned? A bug to be fixed? Any thoughts on a workaround? Thanks.

How can I open Nikon D5300 NEF RAW files in the DNG converter?

I have the latest version of the DNG converter, but it won't recognize my NEF files. I have a Nikon D5300, which is on the list of supported cameras. I have a 64 bit W7 computer.

You don't open in the DNG converter. You use it to batch convert, folder by folder, and the converted copies can then be opened in the ACR version you have.
Two things to watch: One, don't try to convert single files, it won't work. The DNG converter operates on folders. Two, set the compatibility level to the ACR version you have.
If it still doesn't work, the files may have been corrupted by an early version of Nikon Transfer (later versions fixed). There is a utility to "uncorrupt" them if that's the case (Google it).

well here is my query

i need to to insert data from within the report using the before parameter form trigger.Error is as follows:
error: rep-1425,cant parse the statement,missing comma
This error got removed by removing the space in ''po report" and before parameter"
Now the error that i get is :ora-00984:column not allowed here
Also i need to keep the spaces between the values while inserting data
Please help!!!

the that i was getting earlier was resolved by using two single quotes....Now the error is....

How can I download pdf/epub/...-files in the browser?

Hi!
I use owncloud to store ebooks, music etc and I often download ebooks from gutenberg.org.
With Android I used to save them on my sdcard in case I use a train and the internet connection fails or being on a plane or the like.
With FFOS 1.3 this is not possible. The browser only offers to "open link in new tab", but not to download the files.
I see the pretty obvious workaround to download it to a desktop computer and via usb to ext-sdcard.
But I think there should be a way to do this more 'naturally'.

I tried to reproduce the problem with a ZTE Open and FFOS 2.0.
On Gutenberg.org, I tried the "download ebup" link. It redirected me to another page, but could not load it. In the meanwhile, I was notified the download had started, but it never completed. Then, checking "Settings > Downloads", I found out that the download was actually stuck on 0kb. By using the stop and retry functions in the Downloads panel, though, the download actually started and successfully completed.
In the end I managed to download the file, but things clearly did not work as they should.

Do you really mean "Hyperlink" as in a web page link to your file?
Or do you want a Mac OS X Alias icon placed in a different folder or on your desktop to a file? Hold Command-Option keys while dragging the file to a new folder, will create an Alias.
Or perhaps a Unix Symbolic Link (similar to a Mac OS X Alias, only different). This is done from a Terminal session using "ln -s /path/to/your/file /path/to/folder/where/symlink/to/be/placed"
