How can I install ADF runtime in Linux 6.3

When I was installing the ADF runtime 11.1.1.6 in Oracle Linux 6.3. I got error at prerequisite check step due to the version of linux. I could still continue to install, but I am not sure if there will be any problem or not. How can I make the prerequisite check continue without the Linux version issue? Thanks.

  • How can i install oracle 10g on linux cluster

    Dear all:
please advice How can i install oracle 10g on linux cluster service ..
    thanks ,,

Without RAC, you can only have one instance manage the database. One instance = one set of processes communicating via IPC.
Unless you know of a way to have processes use memory-based IPC across nodes, you need to pick a node and install & run the database software on that node.

  • How to install ADF Runtime libraries to an Oracle Application Server 10g?

    Scenario:
    - JDev 10.1.3 (production) installed on my Win XP station.
    - OC4J 10.1.3 Standalone installed on my Win XP station.
    - OAS 10.1.3 (not OC4J Standalone) installed on a Linux SuSe server.
    - I have admin credentials for the OAS but don't for the server.
Is it possible to install ADF Runtime from OAS Enterprise Manager? If yes, please, let me know. If not, I will have to bother server admin in order to copy those files. In this case, ca I rely on the log html file resulted from the install I made on my local OC4J instance in order to select the needed files?
    Thanks in advance.

As far as i know the ADF libraries can be updated via the solution you gave :
Tools -> ADF Runtime Installer -> Oracle Application Server
but this only applies for an OAS installed on the same machine where jdev resides
for OAS in UNIX like systems i'm not sure if this can be done
as far as i know the libraries must be copied manually but i can't confirm this theory
i would like to know if it's possible to update the libraries from the Wizard on jdev installed on a windows machine to an OAS installed in UNIX?

    Hey Debbiered1,
Follow the steps in this link to resolve the issue:
iTunes 11.1.4 for Windows: Unable to install or open
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376
When you uninstall, the items you uninstall and the order in which you do so are particularly important:
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order and then restart your computer:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Important: Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
Let us know if following that article and uninstalling those components in that order helped the situation.
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities!
    Take care,
    Delgadoh

  • Proper way to install ADF Runtime in Stand Alone weblogic 10.3.3.0

    Hello:
I found several different methods to install ADF Runtime in a stand alone weblogic server 10.3.3.0. and they seem to be very different.
Does anyone know the official Oracle way to install the ADF Runtime or specific reference to this in the docs? The goal is to make a simple ADF web app, and get it working on a stand alone weblogic server.
Thanks for looking at this post.
    Don

You can either use the installer that comes with JDeveloper or the one that comes with the application developer installer for WebLogic.

If you don't have Oracle Linux support, you can use our public Yum repository. Instructions for setting this up can be found at http://public-yum.oracle.com.
If you do have Oracle Support, follow the instructions at http://linux.oracle.com to register your server with the Unbreakable Linux Network for updates.

  • How do i install labview application on linux?

    Hello,
I have a small application that i built using Labview 7.1 for windows. I have been using this application on windows xp.
All the application does is, get an array of numbers from a file, calculate the min, max and average, and display the result in a simple 2D graph.
Now i'm in the process of switching OS from xp to Redhat Linux. Would i be able to use this same application in Linux without any modification? if so, how do i install the application on Linux? if not possible, what changes do i need to make to get it work on Linux?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks.

The platform indepedence is in the way the LV code is represented. You can open a VI you wrote in LV on windows in LV for Linux or Mac and it will work. The compiler embedded in the development environment turns the VI into platform-specific executable code in the same way that a C compiler would. The problem is that actual executable code is not transferable between OSes because they simply won't know how to execute it, just as it wouldn't work with a C built application.
If you don't want to buy LV for Linux you can try running a Windows emulator (like WINE) which might allow you to run your windows executable. Another option is to try contacting NI. They might decide to let you change your license from Windows to Linux. You should also consider that platform specific functions (like ActiveX) are not supported and that certain toolkits were only written for windows.

  • Acrobat Viewer - How can I install?

    Hello.
I am using a Unix OS with no Acrobat Reader to download.
However there is this Java-Based Acrobat viewer I could download.
I downloaded the all Java-enabled OS variant as well as the Windows variant.
    I tried to install
    - the all Java-enabled OS variant under Unix (JRE 1.5.1)
    - the all Java-enabled OS variant under Windows XP (JRE 1.4.2)
    - the Windows-only variant under Windows XP
I called the installer with "root" rights (Unix) / from a user account with local administrator rights (Windows).
In all three cases the installer failed; under Unix the installer simply hangs; under Windows both installers (all OS and Windows-only) give an error message.
How can I install Acrobat Viewer ?
    Thanks.
    Martin

You'll need to be more specific in your query. When you say, a Unix OS, what kind of an OS are you running? Are you aware that the Adobe Reader is now available on x86 Linux, SPARC Solaris, RISC HP-UX and AIX?
I don't know if the Java based version is supported.

  • How can I install Adobe Photoshop Elements Update 9.0.3 after I get a message that Installation has failed and the solution is not in troubleshooting or forums?

My Photoshop Elements 9 stopped working a couple of weeks ago. When I clicked the PSE button nothing happened. I tried this several times over a few days and it still failed. I uninstalled the program and re-installed it. It worked well. Then I tried to install the Update 9.0.3. The download was almost successful. When it was about to show 100% successful for the download, an error message said the installation had failed and that I should try later. I tried this many times over a few days and the same result occurred. I tried troubleshooting and the answers to questions, but I could not find an answer. I don't know where to go to see if anybody has answered my question. How can I install Update 9.0.3?

  • How can I install Adobe Reader 11 to a drive other than C:\?

I downloaded Reader 11, but at no point during the installation process am I prompted for an installation location.  How can I install this to a drive other than the C:\?  I keep my C:\ and data storage drive separate so in the event the OS crashes I won't lose my data.  I have limited storage capacity since I'm on a laptop so I didn't make my C:\ very large, so that I would have more room for my D:\.  Any suggestions?
    Sincerely,
                    LT Gannon

having data on a different drive is a good idea.  installing programs on a drive different from you os containing drive is generally not a good idea.  but if you have the expertise and are sure of what you're doing:
    mac:  ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/mac/11.x/11.0.00/misc/
    win:  http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5515
