How can I install Cut the Rope (paid) on my original iPad?

I have an original iPad and bought Cut the Rope at some point.  It's not installed on my iPad and when I went to install it today all I get is a message saying it requires iOS 6.  I know I can't get iOS 6 for my original iPad, but how do I get applications like Cut the Rope, which I've paid for, working on my original iPad?

I don't think so.  I'll have to look to be sure though.  I usually only use iTunes to do iOS updates and just re-installed Windows on my PC, so anything that might have been there is gone.  For apps, I assumed the ones I bought would always be available to me.  I didn't think Apple would approve an update that prevents people from installing an app they've bought.
So do I have to start keeping track of and managing all the different versions of all the different apps I have 'just in case' now?  That's not cool.

    You can not install iOS 5. It is no longer signed by Apple. You can only install the current version of iOS. For a 3GS, that's 6.1.3.
    However... if you have 4.2.1 on your phone, odds are it is not a 3GS, it is a 3G. If that's the case, you've reached the end of the road for that. It can not run anything higher than 4.2.1.

    There is no way to accomplish this on an iPad, which is not designed as a multi-user device. As Tom said below, you'll have to contact PopCap and urge them to come up with a multi-player version of the game. I'd suggest you not hold your breath waiting, though, knowing PopCap and how slow they are to update their games.
    Or, of course, you can just get your wife her own iPad.

    I believe if you load the .jad or .jar file right on the the memory card, and then explorer to it and run it it will work. I haven't tried this but believe I heard of someone doing this. When the program loads it will load in to main memory, but at least you can store the files on the memory card.
    The other option is to use a third-party program. There is one called Aerize Card Loader 2008:

    Yes, but it is very tedious. You will have to begin typing an email address in the To: field in order to bring up those suggested email addresses. Then you tap the blue "I" next to the email address. In the next window that appears, swipe down to Remove from Recents and tap that to delete the address. You would have to do this for every single email address that you have ever received an email from, that is not in your contacts app.
    But what I am curious about is why wouldn't you remove your email accounts from the iPad? That will eliminate the problem altogether. You don't want to give the iPad to your relative that way, do you?
