How can I install PS CS3?

Bought PS CS3 (upgrade disc) and installed it. Photosop 7 was my original purchase. Now my hard drive has failed and in order to install my PS CS3 I have to have a serial number for my original Photoshop 7. I haven't even had that disc for years,much less the serial number. how can I get my PS CS3 installed?

Not at all, I'm afraid. You realyl need that PS7 serial. Your only otehr option would be to upgrade to CS6, then your CS3 serial becoimes your last valid qualifying serial for the upgrade...

How can I install Adobe Acrobat without installing the browser extensions?

Hello All,
I am a computer Technician at a high school and we have very strict browser requirements for different services. We need to use Adobe Acrobat to convert PDF's, and other tasks, and we need to use Chrome to open Adobe Reader files. The issue is that I want my 3 browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox) to open PDF files using Adobe Reader XI. All my plugin settings are correct to use Adobe Reader to open PDF's, but it either downloads a PDF to the computer, or opens up in the browsers default reader (Chrome does this), or opens up to a blank page with a blank error message. I went into the programs Internet settings for Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat and it's telling me the browser opens them up using Adobe Acrobat (With no option to change the setting). The problem is only solved when I uninstall Adobe Acrobat.Then I am able to open PDF's in Adobe Reader just like I want (but this gets rids of Acrobat). This leads me to believe that when I install Adobe Acrobat, there is a registry key or something that is telling the computer to open PDF's in browsers using Acrobat. My initial question is this: How can I install adobe Acrobat without linking it to the browser. I JUST want Adobe Acrobat as a program installed on the computer.
Additional Info:
- I build a computer image and use that image on several computers. This issue persists with all of the computers I installed the image on.
- I am using Adobe Reader 11 (Now DC, but I am willing to use either) and Adobe Acrobat Pro CS3 (I think it's version 9?)

My old computer died and I have a copy of Adobe Creative Suite that I would now like to install on my new Mac, however, the MacBook Air does not have a CD ROM.

I'm using AI CS3 (PC version). I want to save the ps file for distiller and change it be pdf format file. After I installed full set CS3, I have distiller9 and acrobat pro 9 (because I installed some from CS4 too). When I click print, I can choose "Adobe PostScript File" in "Priner" box. But there is no selection of "AdobePDF 9.0" in "PPD" box. The selection in PPD box are "Other (unknown)" & "Device Independent" only. So, how can I install or add items inside this box? Still not working. I need step by step instructions... I'm trying to follow the ones on the link as best I can but after I install the Adobe Download Assistant, log into Adobe and then click on the file 1 hyperlink and begin download for CS3 Adobe Illustrator, it downloads to my desktop. Then when I open it it says the following- see screen shot saying "setup" cant be opened because it is from an unidentified developer."
Additionally, Creative Suite is not feautred on this screen after I have signed int Adobe with my ID. See screen shot below.

My Elements and Premier DVDs are corrupted physically. How can I install them via online instead?

I bought Photoshop Elements and Premeire Elements 10 sometime ago and forgotten about it. The box was sealed but the DVDs had streaks for white stuff and thus the drive is unaable to read. How can I install it via online? Please lead me to the link that I can key in the serial numbers as I am unable to find in this website. Thank you. As they have never been installed, the serial number is not in the my Adobe ID account yet. Hence I wish I can freshly install them via online. Thank you.

For downloads of CS3 see THIS thread.
For your serial number, if Photoshop is still running on your old machine;
Start Photoshop. Goto Help > System Info. Buried in amongst all the stuff in there will be your serial number. Read through it carefully.
If Photoshop is not installed / running on your old machine, then you are indeed pretty much hosed.
This is always assuming software that old will run successfully on a new machine, of course.

How can I install Adobe Photoshop Elements Update 9.0.3 after I get a message that Installation has failed and the solution is not in troubleshooting or forums?

My Photoshop Elements 9 stopped working a couple of weeks ago. When I clicked the PSE button nothing happened. I tried this several times over a few days and it still failed. I uninstalled the program and re-installed it. It worked well. Then I tried to install the Update 9.0.3. The download was almost successful. When it was about to show 100% successful for the download, an error message said the installation had failed and that I should try later. I tried this many times over a few days and the same result occurred. I tried troubleshooting and the answers to questions, but I could not find an answer. I don't know where to go to see if anybody has answered my question. How can I install Update 9.0.3?

How can I install Adobe Reader 11 to a drive other than C:\?

I downloaded Reader 11, but at no point during the installation process am I prompted for an installation location. How can I install this to a drive other than the C:\? I keep my C:\ and data storage drive separate so in the event the OS crashes I won't lose my data. I have limited storage capacity since I'm on a laptop so I didn't make my C:\ very large, so that I would have more room for my D:\. Any suggestions?

having data on a different drive is a good idea. installing programs on a drive different from you os containing drive is generally not a good idea. but if you have the expertise and are sure of what you're doing:

Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.
