  • How can I install the apple app store on my computer

I bouth this computer from a friend, when I brought it home I notice I dont have the App store installed, any way I can do this?

You need to contact Apple, 1-800-MY-APPLE, and order OS X Snow Leopard 1.6 and install it upon your Mac. Then download and install the 10.6.8 update combo to have a Mac App Store.

  • How can I install Photoshop 5.0 with Windows Vista?

I have Photoshop 5.0 LE and have tried and tried to install it on windows vista. Does anyone have suggestions
on how I can install it. My system Type is x64-based PC and my system directory is C:\windows\system 32. Any suggestions are welcome, I will try everything that I haven't already tried.  I previously had Adobe Photo Deluxe 3.o Deluxe Home Edition and I loved it, but it no longer works on XP or Vista.     Thanks.

I don't think you will have much luck with that ancient program.
Why not go for Photoshop Elements? At least it's from the present century!
There are also free basic image editing applications.

  • How can I install my Officejet J4540 on windows Vista

I need a fix so I can install my Officejet J4540 All in One Printer on my new system.  I upgraded from XP to Vista & now I can't install it.  HELP!!

I will gladly provide for you a Vista link to the software download but what is the system type you are using, is it 32 bit?  If you say it will not install, what exactly is happening?  Are you getting a fatal error, compatibility problems, or the error that no matter what you use the installation can't tell if it is Vista or XP?  How are you trying to install it (USB, wireless, or Ethernet)?  Answer those questions for me please and I will be happy to help.
Don't forgot to say thanks by giving "Kudos" if I helped solve your problem.

  • HT1923 did anyone get the apple application support was not found when trying to instal?

I am having trouble instaling itunes.  has anyone got the apple application support was not found when trying to instal itunes?  it looks like it is not installing all of files to my computer and it can not reach a certain folder

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • TS3824 How can we install the iMac Graphics Firmware Update if the screen is white and I can't get to the Apple menu?

How can I install the iMac Graphics Firmware Update 2.0, if the screen is white and I can't get to the Apple menu?  My computer has 5 vertical purple lines against white screen at startup before the Apple logo appears and the spinning gear...then everything disappears and the screen hangs on the white screen.  I have tried unplugging and removing all my peripherals and the COMMAND, OPTION, P & R set of keys and still nothing.  I have tried COMMAND C to start up from cd and it only tells me to turn off the computer and turn it back on.  I found information on Apple's Support pages regarding the iMac Graphics Firmware Update but I am unable to download and install if I can't get to the Apple menu.  Can anyone help?

You may have hardware problem, I think a visit to your local Apple Store or AASP is in order.

  • When i install itunes, it says the apple application support is not found

I kept getting an error message when trying to open itunes. I uninstalled all the apple related files and reinstalled itunes. It's now saying the apple application support is not found and won't open itunes. Please Help!

    Okay ...
Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
    Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:

  • I have some apps on my iPad that were installed using an old apple ID. They can't be updated because the old ID is no longer valid. How can I change the apple ID associated with these apps?

I installed some apps using an apple I'd that is no longer active. I can't update them because it asks for the password of the old I'd instead of the I'd I currently use. How can I change the apple I'd associated with these apps? I still want to use them. One app I paid for using the old I'd. The other app is free. I have already tried deleting them and reinstalling them.

If you simply just changed the email associated with that appleid you can just delete and Re-download the apps.
You can verify  the above step by going to the App Store on device > Updates>Purchased - if you see the app there just delete it from the home screen and redownload from the purchased section
Now if you got rid of that account entirely, you will have to delete and re-purchase on your new account

The new machine has Mavericks which is fine. And I will leave it as is. I don’t want anything from my old machine other than 2 apps that I will need on the new one. I want to be able to install those apps that I bought from the App Store onto my new computer. I assume Apple doesn’t want me to have the apps installed on 2 machines at the same time so I wonder if just uninstalling them from my old machine will release them for re-install on the new one.

how do i install the apple tv icon to my late 2010 mac air?   im unable to use my laptop to view videos or others on my apple tv

If you are referring to AirPlay Mirroring, it requires OS X Mountain Lion or Mavericks and a Mid 2011 or newer MacBook Air, so you cannot use it and you will not see the AirPlay icon. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404
Instead, you can use an application like AirParrot to mirror your Mac's display onto your Apple TV, so you can watch videos and show your Mac on the Apple TV

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Next, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Does it go through properly this time?
