Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

I entered in all my info and then accidently clicked out of the screen before I wrote down the code to redeem it. I tried to do it again but of course it said my system had already been issued a redeem code. Is there a way I can get it back so I can get the update for free?

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords, especially your Apple ID/iCloud password NOW!
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, and running iOS 7.0, then phone cannot be activated or the passcode removed without knowing your Apple iD/Password. It will be nothing but a useless paperweight.
If not running iOS 7.0, the phone can be forced into recovery mode & restored. -

How can i restore my iphone after a failed update
i tried to update my iphone and it gave an unknown error message with code (1015) which rendered the phone useless unless i restore. then i tried restoring it but gave the same error message after its almost done. please help me on how to restore my iphone even if its without the update.

That error usually means that either:
You are trying to downgrade the phone to an earlier version
You don't have the latest version of iTunes

How can i adopt the iPhone App-Structure to iTunes for Sync?
Hello Community!
I usually buy apps or games directly over the iPhone-App-Store and i also manage the folder structure directly on the iPhone Screen.
Yesterday i bought a new App via the iTunes Store on my MacBook (don't know why, i thought it would be no problem)
ITunes is set to manual organisation (the box "App Sync" is not set in iTunes).
So my problem is:
I cannot install my recently bought app on my phone without enable synchronisation with iTunes.
But if i set iTunes to app sync it is going to destroy my folder structures and remove apps i bought with the iPhone EVEN if i click "Transfer Purchases"!
Is there a way to manually install the app without destroying my complete structure and losing apps?
Sorry for the critics, but this is not very user-friendly!

How can i make a suggestion on a good update for the iphone
Hi I am Michael Hendrickson a third gen iphone holder. I receintly thought of an idea regarding the "notes" app. Myself and everyone I know uses this app mainly for lists, I feel that it would be in our best intersts to be able to swipe with the finger and cross the item off (with a line) and/or completely erase the item from the list. I hope this helps future and current iphone users, please let me know if this helps.

How can i add a new event in my calendar for the new IOS 5?
I cant seem to add a new event on my iPhone 4 with the new iOS 5. I read the you are suppose to tap and hold the day you want to add an event, but that doesnt seem to work for me.
It works for me when I tap and hold my finger over the day seeing the month or week, when the phone is turned sideways. Maybe you should keep the finger a little longer on the screen to hold.

i have deleted all contacts in icloud but still have them on my iphone (which is backed up as well to iTunes) how can i restore the iphone data to the iCloud so it will resend it to my mac book and iPad? I have switched my iphone to airplane mode so it is not connected to the internet and so icloud can not wipe it at the moment.
thanks royThere's a menu choice (I think under "Files") that lets you sync purchased items on a device back to itunes. Look for that.
iCloud does not store music. If you want to do that you'd have to subscribe to itunes Match, but to get music to the match servers, you need the music in the itunes library on your computer. -
