Photos you take on your camera are in the Camera Roll and are like the film in a camera.
Photo Stream is an independent stream of photos from all devices that are logged onto the same iCloud account and that have Photo Stream turned on. Photo Stream photos are kept in the cloud for 30 days or up to 1000 photos, whichever comes first, so unless you have a particular photo you just don't want to stay out there for 30 days, you don't really need to delete Photo Stream Photos. They are temporary. Your device will continue to keep your Photo Stream photos from prior to the 30 day limit, but if you switch Photo Stream off in iCloud and then right back on, the only photos that will re-display in Photo Stream on that device are the ones that remain within the 30 Day/1000 photo parameter.
Collections is simply a single place which shows all of the photos that you have on your device. You do not need to delete photos from Collections. It is just a single place where you can see the contents of all of your albums.
Photos in albums that you have created on the device itself are tied to the photos in your Camera Roll, so if you delete them from the Camera Roll, it will tell you that it will also be deleted from an album.
Albums that you have sync'd from your computer should be removed the same way you got them there - by hooking the device up to a the computer you did the sync with, and un-selecting the album from the Photo profile screen.
So, really, there are only two places that you need to delete photos - Camera Roll and Photo Stream.

Did you try browsing your backups in the Finder ? That is, do not go and "Enter Time Machine". Instead, navigate to your Time Machine backup via Finder and then manually go to the time period (by folder name) you are looking for ... when you find your Aperture library you can then "Show Package Contents" and find the Master you are looking for.

After installing ios5 the only way to add or edit contacts was to merge them on icloud now i have my son's and wifes's contacts on my devices because we all sync upmto the same pc with the same apple id. We would prefer to keep our conacts seperate.

I've been looking into this as well, since my husband and I each have an iPod and use the same iTunes Store account. I haven't tried this yet, but it sounds like you can set up each person with their own iTunes account and thus their own iCloud account for backups and then go into the Store settings and put the original Store account back in.
I'm waiting to update hubby's iPod because I want to make sure my devices work OK. He's not technically inclined and would panic if he had a problem, so I'll be doing his updating. CS4: How can I keep a scaled Symbol from returning to 100% when I edit it?

I have several instances of a symbol on my artboard. Each of these instances have different scales/sizes. I'm trying to edit one of the larger instances by double-clicking it and entering isolation mode, so that I can make some minor adjustments to the positioning of the objects and paths within that symbol so that it's not covering my other content. However, as soon as I do this, the symbol "shrinks" back down to its small original size... which makes it almost impossible to judge what the symbol will look like, because as soon as I exit isolation mode, it'll return to the larger size and then visually I can see if I guessed right.
Example, I have a "TREES" symbol. Within the TREES symbol, there are 3 individual tree shapes. I want to move the right tree a little farther right, but not too far right, because it'll cover some other content. However, as soon as I double-click the TREES symbol to edit it, the symbol shrinks so now, I can't really tell how far I need to more the right tree. Is there a preference, or a method of creating a symbol to keep it from doing this when I try and edit it?
Also, I noticed, in the above example, as I move the tree to the right, when I exit isolation mode, it appears that the entire symbol has changed position... so now the other trees aren't in the same place (visually) that they were before. It seems as though Illustrator has centered ALL the trees in the symbol, instead of leaving the left 2 trees alone and just moving the right tree farther right. (Completely opposite of the way Flash edits symbols) Is there a way to keep this from happening as well?

If I convert (break) the symbol instance into a normal group, then any changes I make to that instance will not be reflected in the other instances that have been placed in different areas of the artboard.

All music on your old iPhone should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Transfer the music from your iTunes library on your computer to your new iPhone in the same way it was transferred from your iTunes library to your old iPhone - via the iTunes sync/transfer process.
Since you prefer the manual way, you must manually drag and drop the same 377 songs from your iTunes library to your new iPhone - in the same way the 377 songs were manually transferred from your iTunes library to your old iPhone.
Or you can sync which provides more options overall. Create an iTunes playlist for the 377 songs. Select Sync Music under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and choose selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Select the iTunes playlist below that includes the 377 songs followed by a sync.

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark III and I use a picture profile in my camera that keeps all my images with low saturation, low sharpness etc... but whenever I import RAW pictures into Lightroom, I initially see the images the way I saw them in my camera, then, one by one, when I click on them, they change without me doing anything - like if some sort of preset was being applied, to every photo, one by one -
I don't want this. I want my photos to be as RAW as possible when I import them and I don't want anything to change. I like what I see in camera and Lightroom changes this after import - how do I stop this? I checked in my Preferences under Presets and NOTHING is checked -

This is in the FAQ and is normal behavior. Picture profiles are not actually encoded in the raw image data but written as a metadata tag in the raw file. Lightroom cannot understand these metadata tags as they are Canon proprietary. So Lightroom will show its own default rendering for the raw data. What I would do in your case is to go on one of your images into develop, scroll down to Camera Calibration and select camera neutral (probably the picture style you were applying in camera). Then set this as the default for your camera (hit option and the reset button will change). Newly imported images will now use the camera neutral profile. This is probably close to what you are looking for. It is important to remember that any treatment you select in the camera such as the picture style, black and white, extra saturation, etc. has no effect whatsoever on the raw data. They only get written as metadata tags for canon software and are reflected in the jpeg that is embedded in the raw file. Lightroom takes the raw data (which is basically simply what the sensor actually saw) and apply its own default interpretation.
You should definitely check out the camera profiles in the calibration section. They tend to give more pleasing color than the "adobe standard" profile that is there by default.

How can I keep a static background from constantly reloading?

I am working on an iWeb site (viewable here: hhttp://www.allbertproductions.com/GSR/WelcometoGSR.html) on which the "page background" and the "browser background" never change from page to page. Is there a way to force the browser to not reload the backgrounds and only change the text boxes? It seems inelegant, not to mention annoying to have the background always reloading when only the text changes.

And, I have to start the process over again to get that same photo. It interrupts the painting process. I think it goes blank due to a sleep function. I've made some enemies that are still my Skype friends, and they are capable of taking my Skype name, and posting it on other sites saying that I want requests for XXX chatting.
It's not fair how I can't hide my Skype name from them, so they are guaranteed to get my name and use it for the wrong reason.

Once they send my name out, I will get a barrage of requests and it pretty much ruins my entire account. There should be protection against this, this is a major flaw to Skype and it's easy to ruin someone's account.
