How can i keep job running?

Hi,
I have scheduled some jobs to start mappings in the control center manager.
But when i turn off my client, these jobs stop too.
It seems because of control center service is being stopped.
How could i do to fix this problem,
or how can i automatically start the control center service?
My Repository and Target are in the same server of Linux platform.

Hi,
I'm guessing you manually have to start the control center service on your client computer?
The best thing is to have the control center service run on the server. Then you can continue to run mappings even after your client is turned of.
I'm not completely sure eon how to do this, but I think you have to install a warehouse builder home on the server as well. If it is already installed on the server then you need to check whether the control center service is running or not, and if not start it.

If possible I would arrange for a good service center to go over it. Hopefully they have a variety of parts in stock. They can test and verify all is working. The previous attempts are based on guesses by the person at the other end of the phone without diagnostic tests to assess the culprit. It is extremely unlikely for a webcam to fail & for it & a Mic to fail together should be an indicator to a good technician it is something else. EG Motherboard

How can I keep my child from UNBLOCKING contacts or numbers I have blocked? I know in restrictions when you disable account changes at least on ios 6,this greyed out the iMessage button so the kids couldn't deactivate their text feature.

Here's the issue. Kids got themselves into some trouble on iPods. TeresaBoo, I empathize with your dilemma and have a similar problem. I'm trying desperately to keep my teenage daughter away from a controlling and abusive boyfriend. Of course, she is in denial and thinks it's love. Sure, I can block text messages through our wireless provider, but iMessages run on an independent network. I can block a phone number from iMessaging on her phone, but she can unblock it just as easily. I wish there was some way for parents to create a password to protect settings. Don't let negative comments get you down. Honestly, if someone can't relate to your question or offer help, why are they even bothering to comment??

I have a problem. The database is Oracle 10g, RAC, two nodes
There are some job which run on everyday night. Now, something happened, the job run on Node A can't work as normal, but if run on node B, It will work well.
so I just want to submit the jobs on Node B, I submited the jobs on Node B, but the jobs always run on Node A.
I want to know how to make a job run on a appointed node.

the Job just transfer some procedure to add partitions for some table, to merge the records from some tables to one table and so on.
the problem is when the job run on Node A, it is very very slow, the procedure would run hours and not success end, but if on Node B it will successfully end in seconds.
restart the Node A would be a way for the problem, but may it will leave a hidden trouble. I want save the scene to find out the problem

None of the suggestions thus far have a significant affect on battery life.
Screen brightness on Automatic is the best setting, as it provides only as much brightness as you need.
WiFi uses ZERO power when the phone is on Standby, and minimal power when the phone is active. But if you are within range of a WiFi hotspot WiFi will use less power than Cellular data. So unless you have the phone actively being used for hours at a time the WiFi setting will make no difference.
3G off will save some power in light use because GPRS uses less power but is MUCH slower. So if you are transferring a lot of data turning 3G off will actually use more power, since transfers will take 3-4 times as long and the difference in power consumption between 3G and GPRS is only 2 times.
Bluetooth uses no significant power unless you are actively using a Bluetooth device, and then you would clearly want it on. BT runs at 3 milliwatts, hardly enough to matter.
If you did all of the suggested things you might get an extra few minutes a day.
If your phone is using a lot of power there are only 2 possible causes - Interactive games, and large data transfers. Nothing else on the phone comes close these two uses. FIRST you should determine if your power use is within spec for your paticular usage pattern. Firefox 10 desktop shortcut reappears after deletion how can I keep it off desktop?

I keep removing the desk top shortcut and within the day it reappears on its own. I use the quick launch bar at bottom of Windows 7 to launch firefox I don't need the extra shortcut. How can I keep the shortcut off my desktop?

Make sure that Firefox gets installed properly.
Open the DMG file and drag to Firefox program to the application folder on your hard drive.
You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the disk image, but drag it out of the DMG folder instead.

I run am trying to run dual monitor setup and have the Firefox browser span the two monitors. Whenever a Firefox dialog opens, such as Preferences or Print, the window zooms to fit the one primary monitor. How can I keep the browser window stretched across my two displays?

My computer with my original library has crashed, how can i keep all the songs on my iphone, but still add new songs from my new library?

My computer has died and will not be working ever again. Problem is, i have all of my songs on that computer in my itunes library as well as on my phone. Now i want to add some songs to my phone from some new cds and it tells me i will loose all my songs on my phone right now when i perform the sync. How can i keep all of the songs on my iphone because now i do not have copies of these songs anymore except on my iphone?????? It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything on the new one.
If for some reason you have failed to backup, big mistake, then you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to the computer: File>Transfer Purchases
You may be able to buy a 3rd party program to get any other music off of the iphone ( not supported by Apple).
When you sync the iphone, it will erase the current content and replace with content form the new computer.

I spend most of the day on my iMac, with Apple Mail open. Over a few hours, I get dozens or more emails. I deal with them on my Mac as they come in or I have time. Now the same emails also show up on my iPhone and iPad. How can I keep from having the emails sent to my iPhone and iPad when I have mail open on my iMac? It used to be that when my iMac was open and mail on, I couldn't get mail on my iPhone, which is just what I wanted.
I've messed around with mail preferences, but maybe don't know what to set. (I know I can inactivate my account on the iPhone and iPad, but don't always remember to do that.)

You need to set up a separate iCloud account for each person that does not want to share their iCloud data. Yes, I was referring to the iTunes ID not needing to be the same as the ID used for iCloud. In order to set up an Apple ID your children will need to have a valid email address that can be verified by Apple. Apple requires this so they have a way of contacting the owner if there is a problem with the account, such as when you may need to reset the password on the account. When you set up the ID, Apple will send a verification email to this email account and you will need to click on the verificating link in the email to complete the process. If they don't currently have an email account you can just set one up with gmail or another free email hosting service. They don't have to use the account but you will need it to set up the ID.

Now I am back on my Mac. I meant the following: Batch Change the date for a large range of photos, that should have a date stepped in increments.
Select all Photos at once and use the command "Photos > Batch Change".
Then set the date for the first photo and select an increment, e.g. one minute.
Now all photos will get a new date assigned, incremented by one minute, in the sequence you have selected. So you will be able to sort them by date. This way it will be unnecessary to change the titles or filenames.
