I can't keep multipage in iPad safari open to read when I am offline because safari refreshes a link when I change a tab . On PC with Firefox I can open many web pages as i want and read it when offline. Can I do it with iPad safari? Thanks in advance!

If it's restored to a backup, and the restrictions were in place when the backup was made, then they will be kept (they will effectively be copied back on from the backup). Restoring to factory defaults/as new will remove them and all other settings and content from the iPad, and you can't change that behaviour - one reason is that if you forget the restrictions code (and there are fairly regular postings on here from people who have) then the factory default reset then allows you to remove it.

is "where ROWNUM <= 10" the equivalent of "cStatement.setMaxRows(10);" because the ROWNUM as problem with the ORDER BY clause and the setMaxRows() as no problem...

How can I download 4.0 version for iPad 2?

I recently downloaded the new version iOS5 for iPad unknowinlgy that it would not support the lyrics function in the new fangled and utterly useless 'Music'. This had made my professional work as a gigging musician ****! All my lyrics and playlists have vanished. I put out anadvert inviting to swop my iPad with soemone who has anearlier version; no luck as yet. I now want to get a hold of the 4 version for iPad. Is this possible? Apple has refused to comment as to why the function has been removed despite hundred of complaints from others experiencing the same problem. Customer service? Non exsistant!

There is no way to 'downgrade' any device. About the only way you can get OS 4.0 would be to find a store with older stock and find one still on the shelves. But the boxes aren't labeled so....kinda a lucky draw kinda thing.

If you click the small black arrow next to your iPod's *Device Name* in the left hand pane of iTunes it should open up a submenu underneath. Go ahead and click on Music to see what songs are currently stored on your iPod.

How can I keep my regions organized for arranging in Logic 9?

I just finished getting all of the loops/tracks I need for my dub tune, and it's time to arrange it. My arrange view is full of scattered puzzle pieces. The tracks and regions are named to help stay organized. I start the tune on measure 16 so that I can stuff all my regions in the first 16 bars and then option-drag or copy paste into the arrangement as needed. This requires tedious scrolling back to the beginning to grab regions, though. I guess the audio bin is an option, but mine is full of all these extra items that clutter it up and that I'm afraid to delete. Also, there is no bin to keep MIDI regions in. Ideally, I would like a bin with only audio and MIDI regions that I want to use for the song and only one of each (some of the files in the audio bin are copies of the same and are labeled bongo.1, bongo.2, bongo3, etc.) And some files in the audio bin don't sound when I preview them. Any insight to my problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I have briefly played around with the screensets. I was hoping I could keep all my regions/loops in bars 1-35 or so and start my new version at bar 200, then get my zoom levels and playhead position just how I wanted it for both. Then copy and paste regions from the beginning to bar 200+. This didn't work out so well because;
A. Regions are not pasting where I want them to, and
B. I must not fully understand how screensets work yet because they are not locking the things needed to make jumping back and forth easy (namely, playhead position)
I read the screensets chapter of the manual, and got no more clarity. Also read the folders section and that was also a bit vague. I'm going to revisit my Logic Pro Training books, folders and screenset sections, and see if that helps. Then I will attempt to follow your ideas as closely as I can and see what happens. SeanE. Man, I'm a little confused by the second half of your reply, but making Apple Loops might just be the ticket right there. I wasn't real thrilled with making loops just to add them to a sea of loops, but you're right. If you add the project name with them, I, in theory, should be able to have all my instrument and audio loops right there all neat and tidy if I search the project name. How can I keep the interface/pasteboard for InDesign CC from resetting?

At work we just got Creative Cloud, and I don't like how the pasteboard in ID is automatically dark grey. I figured out where to uncheck "Match Pasteboard to Theme Color" which makes it go back to white, but when I shut down and restart ID, it goes right back to having that checked so it is grey again. Is there anyway to make my selection permanent? I dont understand why it checks itself back to that every time. It would be nice to not have to reset this every day.

that range of most wifi setup unless you want to pay alot!
would likely mean you could see about as much as the camera from where you were standing
a mifi or otherwise something which bridge a lan to the internet would work
make sure the camera have a webserver in it and then you can see it from any web browser where you put in the login and password

Did you enable photo stream? if so, that service will sync the photos across your devices. But you can turn it off. If it's on, try going into the iPad settings, iCloud control panel and turn off photo syncing and then see if the photos remain on your iPad only.

The only way to get the security patch is through upgrading your iDevice to iOS 7.0.6.
