Have iPhoto '11. Several times I have arrangged the Albums in alphabetical order. Perhaps "periodically rearrange" isn't the correct terminology, but if not the next time I open iPhoto then the 2nd or 3rd or 4th or..., the albums are in a different order, non-alphabetical. This was not a problem in the last iPhoto version.

Albums typically are just a collection of photos from the bigger iPhoto Library.
Get out of full screen and look at the sidebar for Trasch can.

How can I keep my emails from being deleted from the Telus server so I can view them on my home computer as well?

How can I set my IPad email account to leave the messages on the server? I want them left on the Telus server until I choose to delete them.

I have POP mail accounts on my iPad.
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar leads me to the correct place.
At the top will be a list of my Mail accounts.
Tapping on an Account brings up all the info in the account.
The Advanced choice is at the bottom of the window and usually requires scrolling down to see it.
Tapping Advanced brings up another widow with the Delete from Server choice. Tap that and you can then tap Never.
I'm using an iPad 2 and an iphone5 running iOS 6.0.1

I've just downloaded the iPhoto app for iOS 6. While experimenting with it, I created an album but I can't delete it. Has anyone else had this problem, and how can I delete it? I've hidden the photo but can't remove the album!

As far as I know all the albums and photos that you have in the Photos app will appear in the iPhoto app

How can I keep my apps to stay on my phone everytime I have to backup instead of having to restore them everytime theres an update? Also, would someone PLEASE explain iCloud to me! I have yet to have it work out!!

I purchased the 4S for my husband and I. After having the phone sit in the box for 2 weeks, I finally decided to have it activated. Once it was activated the person I spoke with on the phone de-activated my 3GS without even telling me to back up! So here I am with out having anything backed up to itunes or icloud and this person, has no clue about what shes telling me to do! 3 hours and 2 different people later, I find that I have to sync my 3GS to itunes to back it up there and re-store it to my 4S because no one I spoke with on the phone had no clue as to why the progress bar when backing up on iCloud through my phone didnt move after like 10 mins.
Can someone please help me understand what is being done wrong?
Let me also add in that everytime there is an update, I have to manually put all 160 apps from my itunes on my laptop back to my iphone!! This so frustrating!

So what I've done was delete all existing apps in my new Macbook and transferred all apps from my old PC to the new one. It was successful...until I try to sync it. This message comes up:
This computer is no longer authorized for apps that are installed on the iPod “Lauren”. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store?
If you do not authorize this computer, 137 apps, including “...™”, and their data will be deleted from this iPod.
So I have all apps on my iPod and my Macbook. Only problem is the Macbook cannot be authorized so whenever I try to sync them, it "threatens" to delete all "unauthorized" apps from my iPod.
Oh, and if I continue, I'm guessing those apps and their would really be gone from my iPod, but will they stay on my Macbook and sync the next time I try to sync them? Though if that works I still bet I will lose all data from my apps...

How can I keep my regions organized for arranging in Logic 9?

I just finished getting all of the loops/tracks I need for my dub tune, and it's time to arrange it. My arrange view is full of scattered puzzle pieces. The tracks and regions are named to help stay organized. I start the tune on measure 16 so that I can stuff all my regions in the first 16 bars and then option-drag or copy paste into the arrangement as needed. This requires tedious scrolling back to the beginning to grab regions, though. I guess the audio bin is an option, but mine is full of all these extra items that clutter it up and that I'm afraid to delete. Also, there is no bin to keep MIDI regions in. Ideally, I would like a bin with only audio and MIDI regions that I want to use for the song and only one of each (some of the files in the audio bin are copies of the same and are labeled bongo.1, bongo.2, bongo3, etc.) And some files in the audio bin don't sound when I preview them. Any insight to my problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I have briefly played around with the screensets. I was hoping I could keep all my regions/loops in bars 1-35 or so and start my new version at bar 200, then get my zoom levels and playhead position just how I wanted it for both. Then copy and paste regions from the beginning to bar 200+. This didn't work out so well because;
A. Regions are not pasting where I want them to, and
B. I must not fully understand how screensets work yet because they are not locking the things needed to make jumping back and forth easy (namely, playhead position)
I read the screensets chapter of the manual, and got no more clarity. Also read the folders section and that was also a bit vague. I'm going to revisit my Logic Pro Training books, folders and screenset sections, and see if that helps. Then I will attempt to follow your ideas as closely as I can and see what happens. SeanE. Man, I'm a little confused by the second half of your reply, but making Apple Loops might just be the ticket right there. I wasn't real thrilled with making loops just to add them to a sea of loops, but you're right. If you add the project name with them, I, in theory, should be able to have all my instrument and audio loops right there all neat and tidy if I search the project name. How can i keep one email box separate from all the others....?

I have 4-5 personal email accounts. Mail gets them all, and it works as i want it - with ALL my inboxes and sent mail aggregated.
However, i now want to add my business exchange account. I want this totally separate - not mixed in with personal.
Ideally i'd like to run two instances of mail - is that possible?
If not, i'd like a completely separate set of mailboxes (in, sent, drafts, etc) for exchange mail.
Can thsi be done? How?

What is the problem with the suggestion I gave you?
IO rally want to figure out a way to trick the system into letting me run two instances, or keeping the two accounts independent.
Even if you could trick the system into running two copies of Mail, what do you think that would accomplish? They would both try to access the same Mail settings and data files. If the workarounds posted here aren't sufficient, you will just have to use a different mail client.
'Tis a shame there is no true outlook for MacOS.....yet.

How can I keep pictures images from opening up in the body of an email

Every time I attach a pic in mac mail, it opens in the body of the email. I never had this issue with Outlook.
I typically attach several pics at a time, the email becomes very messy. Any suggestions on how to keep it from opening.
I am using jpeg images.

It depends.
When you copy an image from a website in Firefox (right-click > Copy Image), Firefox stores the HTML code that website is using to display the image. Then when you paste into Yahoo mail, Yahoo uses that code to display the image in your message, by linking out to the source site.
However, if you copy the image from a source other than a web page, Yahoo mail (webmail interface) can't use this technique and although it sometimes seems to show the image in the post, when I send, I just get a strange "inline image" notation in its place.
If you access your Yahoo mail on a device in a dedicated mail client, then you usually would have more options because the mail program will encode the image into the message.

How can I keep a bean alive forever through out the live of container

I want to load some important information from DB (which takes long time to calculate) into memory at the start of the app and refresh it periodically and keep it in memory for all jsp/servlets to use.

I was able to do that and keep it alive as long as the app is active, but if the app is idle for a period of time some how the bean is thrown out of memory and when user acceses the page it connects to the DB again. (I have logic that if the contents of bean is empty get it from DB and keeping the data as a hashtable). I am using scope=application in all jsp's that access this bean.
Any thoughts ?? or any other way to do this (I am almost ready to write to file after long testing...) Please help.

How can I keep 16:9-format when exporting to the camera

Yesterday happened something, what never happened before:
A movie recorded in 16:9, edited on IM HD6 in 16:9 can only be exported back to my Sony HD-Camery in 4:3. Camera is preset for 16:9. That means, the globe in my movie is becoming an oval! When I imported this "Oval"-Tape back to an new iMovie-Folder, it is again 16:9.
Can everybody unravel that mystery?

Besides starting with a 16:9 iMovie Project you must choose the "Expert Settings" when exporting to QuickTime.
Choose DV Stream. Double check those settings by clicking the "Options" button. This is where you'll find the aspect ratio for your DV file.

In the process, I managed to lose all of my pictures, contacts, text messages, etc. I need some of that back. My computer seems to have the .ap files, but I cannot open them. Is there any way to get my pictures back at the very least?

The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
