i am Technician in a reputed mnc company. I am new to Microsoft servers. I learned MCSE 2008 and have basic trouble shooting knowledge.To improve my knowledge on these servers and how can i know real issues in a company occurs , solution to them. Please
help me to get more knowledge on these servers.

If you want to know more about issues related to your own internal servers, I'd simply start by reviewing the event logs and running perfmon in the short term to look for issues. For more long term management and monitoring I'd look to a tool
like System Center Operations Manager:

For general troubleshooting skills growth, I'd stick around these forums and just read issues as they occur and try to assist with resolving some that you feel you can.

How can I boot my PXI controller into real-time without a floppy disk?

My PXI controller is in a lab which has intense magnetic fields that could corrupt the floppy disk used to boot the PXI controller into the LabVIEW Real-Time (RT) Operating System. How can I boot the PXI controller into real-time directly from the hard drive?

If you are using LabVIEW 5.1.2 Real-Time (RT), launch Remote System Explorer and select Disks >> Create Format Hard Drive Disk. If you have LabVIEW 6 RT, launch the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) and select Tools >> RT PXI Disk Utilities >> Create Format Hard Drive Disk (LabVIEW RT 6 has not be released yet). Once you have created the disk, boot the PXI controller with the Format Hard Drive Disk, and this will format the PXI's hard drive and install the real-time OS boot loader. Now you can reboot the PXI without a floppy disk and configure the PXI using Remote System Explorer or MAX. Be aware that this will remove all information from the hard drive, including other operating systems.

IPad - with movie clips - how can I play more than one at a time?

iPad2. I post short movie clips via iTunes to the Photo catagory. I can play each of these clips by selecting the clip and pressing the start arrow, only the selected clip will play. How can I select a group of movie clips and have them play with only one selection. Like a "slide show" but for movie clips???

How can I change a Mixer filter in real-time? (11.5)

Hi all,
I'm currently coding (or trying to code) an interactive soundboard that users can play with in their software. They can turn inputs on and off, increase the volume, change the EQ, etc. The nice is, and I was really pleased to discover this, Director already has a feature called an 'Audio Mixer' that has filters to satisfy all these functionalities! The bad thing, I can't figure out how to change these filters in real time.
For example, here's the code to MUTE a specific mixer (activated when the user toggles a button):

But how do I tell it go INTO that mixer, find the existing High Pass Filter, and change the value of that High Pass Filter's 'highCutOffFreq' property? It's a classic case of knowing exactly what I need to tell the code to do, but I have no idea of the SYNTAX of actually telling it to do that.
I hate to be 'that guy', but it is somewhat urgent. This is for a college assignment due Wednesday (yikes!). I didn't quite know what I was getting myself into with this code, but the end is in sight if I can figure out how to write this particular code.
Many gratuitous thanks in advance for any assistance!
PS: It won't be enough to simply add a new filter to the list. The user needs to be able to turn a dial up or down to increase or decrease the High Pass Filter, in conjunction with several other dials manipulating other filters. I need to be able to actually change what the filter's value is.

The problem is that I think that I changed the "default" name for the state where the photos were taken. I have 50 differents locations, that are all correct, and photo per photo, I can modify the original location, but only at "local" level.
How can I change the name displayed in State section as "Casa David i Mireia" for "Catalunya" that is the real name for the State where the photos where taken?
I don't if this post is comprehensive. I'm not sure.

The first and most important problem is to understand Clients requirement. Clients even some time not aware of how to utilize efficiency of BW, as they are very much use to with traditional SAP R/3 reporting. So most of time we have to suggest options to client.
If we come to technical aspect, than identifying Key Figures and Characterstics is the most important task. And how you map that to available infoobjects. Attributes also plays major roles, like which attributes is better to use as navigational one and which as exclusive attribute.
Their is long list for data modelling issues, its better you refer either Mastering BIW book by Mac'Donalds. And SAP Help Library is also having good material.

How can we know perticular rfc is connected to process code and subprocess

we are integrating plm system to SAP ERP system(ecc). Plm system is connected to sap through sap CAD INTERFACE. In the cad interface they are configured process codes(5 chatecters length for identifying application like BOMCN for BOM) and subprocess codes(2 characters length for crete , delete e.t.c).
These functions call dialog rfc interface like BOM_CREATE_BILL_OF_ MATERIAL. My question is how these process codes are calling RFC's and these are dialog rfc's how we can run in backgroung procesing. I will appreciate for early reply.

How can I expand my wireless network with a Time Capsule and Airport Express?

My entire house is wired for ethernet access (2 floors). I have a Time Capsule on the 2nd floor that reaches the entire house except for one room.
In this one room I have an ethernet port plugged into an Airport Express.
The problem I encounter is that I have two separate wifi networks with two separate names. I realize I can extend the wireless network on the 2nd floor to the 1st floor but I can only do this wirelessly to my knowledge, and the entire problem is that the signal doesn't reach the front room. Also, there is really no place in-between that the AE can be placed to extend the reach. The building is concrete and steel, I think that has a lot to do with the problem.
My question is: Can I have two wireless routers (connected to the same home network via ethernet) broadcast the same wifi network? I also have a SONOS system that further complicates things, I'm afraid. Would it help if I drew some sort of diagram?

Your network is not working as you describe.. or I have misunderstood the layout..
What is the broadband type? Modem is where? What is the main router?
From your screen shots the main router is the airport express that covers one room which seems wrong.
Why isn't the TC the main router? or both bridged.. if you go back and look at the apple document.. one or both apple routers are in bridge mode..
You are having issues with setup .. half of which is caused by v6 airport utility.
What OS are you running? Please install 5.6 utility.. do it.. do it now!!

How to load 5.6 into ML.
1. Download 5.6 for Lion.

Click to open the dmg but do not attempt to install the pkg.. it won't work anyway.
2. Download and install unpkg.

Run unpkg on the desktop.. it is very simple.. drag the AirPortUtility56.pkg file over to unpkg.. and it will create a new directory of the same name on the desktop.. drill down.. applications utilities .. there lo and behold is Airport utility 5.6 .. drag it to your main utilities directory or just run it from current location.
You cannot uninstall 6.1 so don't try.. and you cannot or should not run them both at the same time.. so just ignore the toyland version.. the plastic hammer.. and start using 5.6.. a real tool.

With conventional LabView, I can create Reports in HTML, for example to document Errors.

It is possible, but you got to put a name to the file with an extension of three letters. i.e. errors.htm
Three letters on the extension is what the RT Operating system allows to use.
Then you will need to do an ftp to your RT machine and get the file and maybe change the extensions.
Not all the vis for Report generation can be used in the RT engine. The ones that use ACTIVE X will not work. i.e printting
Another way to generate reports and the most recommended is to use the host machine to generate the reports.

Hi,
in order to find BAdI definition starting from the interface, you should perform a "Where used List" from SE24.
Type your interface name and then, in the where used dialog box, tick the 'Business Add-in" check box.
1.But is there any table which stores Implimentation name and Implimentation class name?
2.And also any table that stores BADI Definitiion name and Implimentation names.

Ther last two lines (red ones) do not work at all.
