How can I launch Flash Builder 4.7 without it launching the workspace?

I renamed the project by right-clicking and renaming.  Now everytime I run flash builder, I get a script error.  I can restore from backup if I can launch without it trying to load the difault project.  Any ideas?

Window>Preferences>General>Startup>Workspaces>Prompt for workspace on startup
and/or
Window>Preferences>General>Workspace>BUild automatically (deractivate)

    Thanks for your two helpful replies.  The article by V. Brossier looks very useful, and I managed to use SDK 3.3 with FB.  But I had misdiagnosed my problem.  The problem was that the compiler was targetting Flash Player 9 instead of 10.  I've managed to fix that.

    I have a flash advert that will run on a website for one month. At the end of the month the advert will change to another flash advert. I am trying to achieve this by way of entering the name of the flash file into a database so my client doesn't have to hand code the change, but I am struggling to get the way I thought would work to actually work and would like some advice on how to do it.
    The way I am doing it is to take the code created by DW's insert flash action, and I am then changing the path (in all four instances) from:
    _dataimages/_rightbanner/test2/Untitled1.swf
    to have it served dynamically like this:
    _dataimages/_rightbanner/<%=(rs_bannerright.Fields.Item("fld_image") .Value)%>.swf
    This isn't working though!
    Are there any other ways I can achieve this? Is there any tutorials out there I can learn from?
    I have tried server side includes too, but still no joy.
    Any advice on what is going wrong for me, or any suggestions or examples on how to dynamically change from one flash file to totally different one would be really appreciated.

    You can't. You make separate projects using the same or different clips, segments, transitions, titles, etc. You can even duplicate the first project and then modify/make the desired changes in the duplicated project. Each project can then be burned as a different DVD or as different titles on the same DVD if there is enough room.

    scott does not work. It is not the same situation as when we start a PL/SQL session. There's nowhere to input the user name.
    I experienced the same problem: When you choose 'start oracle database' from the 'start' bar, a simple dialog pops up just saying "password______". Nothing else. And, if you have tried three times, it tells you 'Error: cannot startup(?) database' and you need to try again.
    There's no way to get into plsql either if you cannot do the above successfully.
    Anybody from Oracle can tell us why and how to solve this problem? Quite annoying.

    Frequently during quiet periods while online, data downloads occur as can be observed by the data transfer indicator flashing on the modem. They have not been preceded by requests for updates, requests for specific downloads, or by announcements from any source. They usually resume if the modem is switched off for a while, and then switched on again. 50 MB has come down over the last half hour. There is usually no warning from my firewall and other security software, which does not mean that the downloads are definitely safe. This interferes with sensitive connections to banks, for instance. I have found no obvious clues while browsing folders, and there are many hidden folders in Windows 7. How can I identify the data online, preferably, or on my harddrive later ? Opening the Downloads window after the start of a session of mystery files does not help.

    Hi Shabeaut,
    To create a new permission level, you should manage the Parent (site collection).
    Your current location is subsite, and it looks like it has unique permission(broke inheritance) that is the reason you are not able to see the create permission level. and another reason for seeing Inherit Permissions along with other menus in the ribbon.
    You should also see Manage Parent along with the menus you see when your site inherits permission from parent.
    So, go to your site collection and create a new permission level and assign users to it.
    And to assign permission level to your new groups, you will be able assign permission when you create a new group, along with the name, all permissions would be listed in the same page(_layouts/newgrp.aspx).

      Regards. I installed Flash Player 11, and then the 11,1 version and is truly horrible. I have uninstalled the 11 version and then tried to download (fdirectly from this boards) and Install the 10.3 and once it finished downloading, when it is set to start the installation, i get the message that the flash 10.3 cannot be installed because there is a newer version, that i should install that one, and so doe not let me Install the 10.3 version, and i am an NHL Gamecenter Subscriber and NFL Game Pass subscriber and live streaming video is horrible in the 11 version, is half speed, it looks crooked and on a bad resolution when i click the Full Screen button and none of those happened with the old 10.3 version. Please if someone can help me. Thank you very much in advance!

    I've also experiencing the same issue on one of our freash computer builds today (never had Flash 11.x.x.x in it before). This computer had Flash 10.1.x.x installed (not 11.x.x.x), I tried to install 10.3.183.10 and a pop-up window comes up saying: "The version of Adobe Flash Player that you are trying to install is not the most current version. Please visit the Player Download Center to obtain the latest, most secure version.". The link takes you to the latest Flash 11.x.x.x patch.
    I then uninstalled 10.1.x.x, rebooted the machine and tried to install 10.3.183.10 and got the same error message. Next I copied 10.3.183.11 to a local dir on the machine and tried to run it but it gives me the same error as above.
    I've patched a couple of other machines that had 10.3.183.10 to .10.3.183.11 w/ out any problems though.

    The easiest thing to do (but can be bad) is to make the LabVIEW window modal.  This will make it the front most window at all times, until the program stops executing.  As you can imagine if you don't have a way to close the window then you will be forced to kill LabVIEW through the taskmanager.
    To make window modal go to VI Properties (by right clicking the VI's icon) go to Window Appearance, click Customize, then under Window Behavior select Modal.
    The other more complicated solution is to use Dll calls to bring the window to the front.

    I need my CVI 7.1 WinXP application to pop up a blank, pre-addressed e-mail. 'Kinda like a "mailto:[email protected]" link would work in a browser. I've tried everything I can think of to do this using shell and system commands. I do not want to assume any particular e-mail client or browser on the client machine. But I will assume a Windows OS. Anyone have any tricks to do this?

    As Chaos says, ShellExecute is part of the SDK.
    From the project window, go to Edit > Add Files to Project >> Library (*.Lib) and browse to ...\CVI\SDK\lib\Shell32.lib.
    Add these two includes to the top of your list in the .c file.
    Note: delete the space after < (I added the space to fool the forum's HTML error detection).

    Ok, here are the key components:
    •     Tab Form
    •     ActiveX Control
    •     VSFlexGrid
    •     Additional Window / Canvas With Mirrored items
    The problem Is not that I can’t navigate to the block then execute a query, rather it is what takes place when it’s done that way.
    When I attempt to do it the conventional way what takes place is visually un-appealing to the user. What triggers the need to populate the block in question is when the user selects a value in the VSFlexGrid. When done the conventional way what takes place when the value is selected is... we do a go_block, since the block is on a different tab the form then brings up that tab, and then execute_query populates the block, then go_block to return to the block/tab containing the VSFlexGrid. Then I would have to come up with a way to interface with the VSFlexGrid and return the cursor focus to the previously selected item in the VSFlexGrid. What needs to happen is when the user selects a value in the VSFlexGrid, behind the scenes the block gets populated then when the user navigate to the block/tab in question the data is already there. To further complicate matters this data comes from two different tables and the data from the parent can only be updated where the data from the child can be inserted or updated. Now if the user wants to bring up the additional sub-window the tab which has the mirrored items is removed. While this window is open the user then returns to the VSFlexGrid navigates through the grid and depending on the item selected the values in the sub-window need to be repopulated.
    I guess if the block in question was on the same canvas / tab the conventional methods would be acceptable.
    Now that I have painted the picture if you have any ideas my ears are open.
    BTW… It looks like I have that last 10%. I am testing now and so far things are working as desired. When testing is SAT I will post the solution I have developed, maybe this will help Tony G. come up with a solution for his situation.
