How can i link a text to a photo into a slideshow?

hello, need some help please! i want to link a text to a specified photo into a slideshow, another word to another photo and so on...I've tried any slideshow, and composition with anchor points and it doesn't work. How can i realize that please?

There's no support within Muse to cause click on a word within a flow of text to result in a slideshow turning to a specific image.
A composition widget can be used to have clicking on or rolling over a trigger object cause a target container to appear.

You will get this warning, if your book includes textboxes that still include the default text, like "Insert Title". You need to find these boxes and add your own text.  Look for boxes like this:
Make a PDF-preview of your book and look, where the preview differs from what you are seeing in iPhoto.

How do I convert a text, word or photo to a pdf coc for E-Mail?

Install Acrobat XI (Standard or Pro).
Use Acrobat's create PDF feature for supported file formats (TXT, RTF, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, TIFF and others are supported).
Use the installed Adobe PDF virtual printer to "print" a PDF from any application that can print to an installed printer.

  • How can I insert large text captions in photos?

How can I add viewable captions to photos? I often send reports with a number of photos attached in a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Standard. I would like the text comments in the photos to be viewable as soon as someone opens the adobe pdf file and looks at the picture -- without having to click on a little icon. In other words, the text would be embedded in the photo, and large enough to read when you first see the photo. Thanks for any help you can give.

Photo editing software makes more sense than Acrobat because you can extract the EXIF comment or description. But one could use the "text Touchup" tool to add text to the PDF. Standard does not provide a lot of scripting options unless you add the JavaScript Console Debugger.

  • In CS6 - how can I un-blur text within a photo taken at a seminar of a powerpoint slide presentation

Is there a way in CS6 to un-blur or "clean-up" text within a photo taken during a powerpoint slide show presentation at a seminar ?

You can import pictures into programs such as Photoshop and sharpen them or make other corrections but the results will depend on how much information remains in your photo.  It is always better to work with the original image than to copy it out of a power point presentation.  I am moving the discussion to the Photoshop forum in case you need more help.

  • How can a 2 column text frame be split into 2 separate text frames?

    Hi InDesigners,
I have a 12 spread (22 page) document that was originally created with a single column primary text frame in CS6. It contains text and anchored images throughout the doc. (images are anchored to the text frame).
My client now wants each page split into 2 columns, but the columns need to have different widths - the left column needs to be narrower than the right. Although I can create 2 columns in a single frame, it's not possible to adjust the column widths separately, so I need to get them into 2 separate frames.
Is there a way to convert a 2 column text frame into 2 separate text frames, so I can resize the column widths invididually?
    kind regards,
    -c

    hi, Thanks for the replies,
The doc size is 8.5"x11", with 1/2 " margins. I never mentioned anything about it being a book. (It's just a paper my client wrote and woud like a PDF of it). The reason for the uneven columns is he wants the images to be 4" wide. For some reason, he wasn't keen on just a single column with text wrapped around the pix. I proposed making a 3" left column threaded into a 4" right col with a .5" gutter between them and he wants it that way.
Thank you both for your respones. I'll try the script

  • How can I get captions to appear on photos in a Slideshow produced in iPhoto for iOS please?

I have iPhoto 2.0.1 on OS 7.0.6 and cannot see captions on pictures in slideshows. Also, is there any way to turn off the ken burns effect which is automatically applied to photographs on the iMovie timeline? Thank you.

InDesign is not a web authoring tool. If you’re expecting text to simply overlay a graphic in export HTML from InDesign you’re going to be highly disappointed.
I’ll make the assumption you know nothing about web authoring tools and HTML/CSS. I suggest you look into Muse.

  • How can I Copy/Paste a Black & White Photo into a Layer Mask

    I have a landscape picture.
Then I will copy it into another layer and convert it to black and white. I will make some changes to the B&W photo
Then I want this B&W photo to be the layer mask of a "Layer-Multiply" of the original ...
I tried copy and paste as it is, but it doesn´t works
Please help me with the steps or what I am doing wrong.
    Regards
    Roberto

You can paint not only a black and white photo, but also a coloured one.
Once you have copied the photo (Ctrl A and Ctrl C), before trying to paste, be sure that the layer mask is active, Alt click in the layer palette in the mask icon on the right : you get a white screen and the mask icon is shown selected. Only then can you paste into the mask (Ctrl V). To exit the mask view, Alt click again or click in the layer icon on the left.
When you paste a coloured pictures it is automatically converted to grayscale.

  • How can I pin captions to different-sized photos within lightbox slideshow

I have a lightbox-style slideshow, with photos of different sizes and different dimensions.
I would love to add captions and forward/back arrows, and a close button within the slideshow, but I can't seem to pin these items to the photo. At the moment they are in a fixed position, which means when a smaller photo displays the caption is far away, and when a larger photo displays the caption is over the top of it.
I would also like to pin the 'close' button to the top right of each photo.
    Thanks
    Harry

    Hi Harry
This actually depends up on the Image size and its container.
Close button can be fixed to container position , but if images differ in size then it would not be on top of every image automatically.
Only way is to use images of same size in the container.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • How can I create a text pop up window in my Pages document? I want text to pop up when the reader hovers his/her cursor over a certain word.

How can I create a text pop up window in my Pages document? I want text to pop up when the reader hovers his/her cursor over a certain word in the document. I am teacher. So for example when a student came to word he/she did not know, if he/she hovered the cursor over the word, a defintion or other information would appear.  You can do this in Word using bookmarks/hyperlinks but I can't figure this out in Pages. I can link it to another point in my Pages document but I just need the text to pop up - not take the reader to another location.  THANK YOU!!!!!!

Have you tried Word for Mac?
You will need to test if links survive export or printing to .pdf

    Help would be appreciated
    Regards
    Narender B

    Hi,
It is not clear what you are seeing here. Also we don't know how you have integrated Apex with EBS. My guess is you have linked an Apex page to the EBS menu and when you click on the menu link you see the additional text on the Apex page.
You need to give details of how you have integrated Apex with EBS and where and when this additional text is being displayed for me to give you any help on this issue.

  • How can i make the text go vertically in numbers

How can I make the text vertical in numbers?  I have merged the cells and cannot find an option for making it go vertical as opposed to horizontal.

I already gave two tools to fit this kind of needs.
    tip #1 :
    --{code}
    --[SCRIPT write_vertically]
    --=====
    L’aide du Finder explique:
    --=====
Save the script as a Script: write_vertically.scpt
Move the newly created file into the folder:
    <startup Volume>:Users:<yourAccount>:Library:Scripts:Applications:Numbers:
Maybe you would have to create the folder Numbers and even the folder Applications by yourself.
In a cell, type a word to write vertically then select it.
CAUTION, don’t select the cell but the word which must be highlighted.
Go to the Scripts Menu, choose Numbers, then choose “write_vertically”
The script insert in the cell the word after inserting a return between every characters.
For my own use, I link a shortcut to the script thank to FastScripts.
