How can I link an image without leaving the existing window in adobe acrobat??

Hi everybody
I'm new using adobe acrobat, but I saw (once) that in a manual, they linked a image.
Just by passing the mouse over the linked word, the image appears "over" the pdf, without leaving the existing window
Is this still possible?? and How??

My company has been successfully licensing the English language version of Adobe Acrobat (Std 7 Pro) under TLP for nearly two years from our US-based reseller, for locations in both the US and in Canada. Nobody at Adobe sales, support, or in its reseller or user community has a clue how to procure a TLP license for Acrobat in a jurisdiction using one language localization and deploy it to a subsidiary in a jurisdiction using another? Surely you aren't serious? This is an elementary corporate software licensing question. The inability of Adobe (et al) to provide any answer does not bode any better for its future than does the fall of Flash to HTML5 for web page rendering. The history of IT companies that come to believe that they have some kind of historical entitlement to market share and no longer need to work for it isn't pretty. Watching this company attempt to sustain itself on Creative Cloud subscriptions alone should be amusing. One more reason to lkeep looking for alternative formats and products, I guess.

I think your only solution is to zip the image files first and then attach them.
Read this from a site I found:
Sending Graphical Attachments -- When you attach a graphical image to your message, the recipient of your message sees the image inline (that is, in the body of the message) if her email client supports inline display. ("Take Control of Email with Apple Mail" contains a table listing the capabilities of popular Mac and PC email clients.) If a client does not support inline display (or the recipient has turned off the inline display option), the file appears as an attachment that must be opened in a separate program.
On the one hand, an inline image is easier for the recipient to see - all she has to do is look at it. On the other hand, inline images can be frustrating to scroll through. If you do not wish to send a graphical image inline, you must compress the file before attaching it - Mail, sadly, lacks a built-in compression option, though fortunately for Panther users, the Finder offers Zip compression without requiring a separate application.
Note that when you compose a new message, Mail always shows attachments in the body of your message. You can manually drag them somewhere else, but many email clients display all attachments in a separate list, regardless of where you place them in the message body.
If you paste an image into a message or drag & drop an image from another window (say, a Web browser), Mail converts the raw image data to an attachment in TIFF format. On the other hand, if you drag & drop the icon of an image file (or use the Attach button to locate the file using the file browser), Mail leaves the attached image in its original format. This difference is significant, because although most email clients can display JPEG images just fine, support for TIFF - especially in non-Mac email clients - is less common. If possible, I suggest attaching image files as opposed to pasting or dragging in raw image data.

I've tried two images, the results were:
Image 1
Jpg, original file size 923KB, dimensions 848px x 279px.
After resizing to 848px x 180px with 72dpi, the file size decreased to 164KB.
Image 2
Jpg, original file size 809KB, dimensions 1200px x 1800px.
After resizing to 668px x 722px with 72dpi, the file size decreased to 307KB.
So, there seems to be a fair file size loss - is this to be expected?

As iMovie doesn't orient after Time - but only after Video/Photo clips is this not so easy to do.
I use black photos as Dummy clips - and put them into a new project first
then I add the Music I want
Then I drop the Video-clip (that I realy want) ontop of the black dummy photo - Where it's supposed to be - THEN IF advanced tools are selected (in iMovie preferences) there will be a Drop-Down menu and here I can select to do a Cutaway - and select not to add the audio from it (or in wave-form just silence it out)

You can have a different receiving email in the Messages app on each device : Settings > Messages > Receive At . I'm not sure that there is a different way to have the message only go to one device.

how can i restore old backup without deleting my existing data. unfortunately i have deleted few of my old photos and restored them from my old backup. i got the deleted photos but lost my recent data and photos. how can i get those too.

You cannot. However, if your back up is through iTunes on your computer and you do an internet search for something like "iPhone BackUpExtractor", I believe there is software that will help you access the SQL database that is your back up. You may be able to pull out what you need.
Once you restore from a back up, any data that was on the phone is gone.

I have just purchased two new games in the itunes store and although they are showing in the library (under applications) my previously purchased games are not. In Summary under games it will not let me choose selected games only 'all games' and when I press sync warns that the existing games will be replaced. Clearly it ISN'T silly as it avoid issues like you are having right now. If you need more space, get an external hard drive. To me it is much sillier to only have your stuff on the iPod and no where else as the iPod, as a small portable player, is much more likely to be dropped, lost, damaged, stolen, forgotten somewhere, etc.
While I am not familiar with the use of games on the iPod (I have never bought any) you can switch the iPod to manually manage and then you can add content to your iPod without losing what is already there. Perhaps it works for games as well.
But long term, I strongly suggest you keep all your stuff in your library so if you need to (you have to perform a restore on the iPod, you lose it and buy a new one, etc.) you can very easily sync it all back to the iPod when needed.

There must be an underlying premise for this question that I'm missing... When you run code everything is in memory... Programming 101. Create a variable, set a value to it, and it's in memory. Create a front panel control set a value to it and it's in memory. Data carried by the wires you use to connect your code is in memory. Or are you asking about controlling how that memory is managed - physical vs swap file?

The Firefox [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Page+Zoom Page Zoom] feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox, as with some other browsers.

I saw a video were someone was typing and switched to the Preview Mode without leaving the Text Frame (you could still see the blinking cursor at the same spot). Also the Top Menu wasn't used. It must be a Keyboard Shortcut.
Does anyone know which one? Thanks!

That person had defined its own shortcut. You can do that under edit >
shortcuts > tools
I assigned ctrl-w on my mac.

I've found several threads on this topic. But none of them helped. Most discussions justs ended without resolution. Some had a lot of technical questions and details that I didn't understand.
Can someone please tell me how to do the following...
Add a still picture. In fact, that's all I have now -- no movie, just one still picture.
Play the picture in the timeline or in the event window without blurring.
If I need to prepare the image first, please tell me exactly what to do. I have Photoshop. I fooled around with increasing the resolution by a lot, and that did help some.
The picture in this case is a screen capture of a window with text in it.
My purpose is to make an animated Christmas card to be sent via email and watched on whatever monitor a person might have.
