How can I lock an item on the form?

I have a master-detail form, I wanted to lock an item on the detail block of the form which means this item can be seen but can't be changed on the form.
I configured the Query Only, Query Allowed, Insert Allowed, Update Allowed as NO in the property palette of this item. However, when I run the form, if I try to change the value of this item, it doesn't allow me, but it also won't let me go to next record and it just stop at the record I try to make the change. Any suggestion would be really appreciated.

Setting the properties "insert allowed" and "update allowed" will allow the item to display queried values. Allow the user to click in the field and copy values. But will not allow the user to change the value.
You can can do the above for the whole item in your detail block using set_item_property or just at the record level with set_item_instance_property.
Setting enabled to "No" is a little drastic. I dont use it that much. I think it also makes the text gray and hard to read.
What is probably stopping you from going to the next record is that you have the "required" property set to "yes".
I dont ever set the required property to yes anymore in my forms. I write all my field validation in one program unit and call it from pre-insert and pre-update. This allows the user to freely navigate througout the form and field values are typically only checked when they press save. Not always, but mostly.

You can't remove the built-in root certificates, but you can remove their trust bits via the Edit button to prevent Firefox from using them as a trusted root certificate.
Intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored when visiting websites that show as "Software Security Device" should never has trust bits set.
Note that it is the responsibility of a server to send all required intermediate certificates to make it possible to build a certificate chain that ends with a built-in root certificate.

you are using I tunes as the middle man for this back up, right?
When you plug in the pad to i tunes, give it a unique name, like my pad. I tune may be thinking it is talking to your phone. It will keep track of what you what on each device. Then plug your phone back in, and make sure your photos are uploaded to the computer - in i photo if you are using a mac, or in whatever photo program you are using on a windows device. You also want to make sure you have uploaded to the computer all of your music.
Once you get all that stuff there, plug the pad back in, and go through each of the tabs - selecting the music, photos etal that you want on the pad, then resync.

How can I format a field in the form creator? It's putting the same text in all the fields within a table. I want each field within the table to have different text. As soon as you click out of the table, all the text is the same.
I even changed the fields from a text box to a drop-down list so a person can make their selection, which will be a quantity from 0-9. There are two of these such fields. You make your selection in each, click off the table and both fields show whatever I selected in field 1. The original Qty I selected in the bottom field was a 5 but it changed it to whatever is in the top field on it's own. I've added a screen shot.

This behaviors usually happens when you create the fields but a copy paste command from one of the fields. The copy paste command assumes that your intentions is to maintain a copy of the field in two separate locations (e.i, a form field "company name" printed in each and every page of a multi-page form document.
Go to the properties fields of each field and make sure to assign unique form field names.

I'm still not sure I follow - let me see if this is right. You want to have users signing up for something using a FormsCentral form and then when something is full you'd like that section to show as "Closed" or full so nobody else can sign up for that particular event/day/time? If that is the goal FormsCentral does not have any logic to close certain portions of the form.

If you've already deleted the files and emptied the Trash they are already, in effect, erased. At least the disk space they occupied is now available.
To be able to offer help we need more information about which Mac you have, which OS you are running, how much RAM you have installed, how much hard disk space you have available, etc.
Go to the Apple Menu>About this Mac - copy and paste the contents of the report here (deleting the serial number of your machine). Once we have that info, I'm sure someone will have some suggestions.

How can I delete an item from the main left column of iTunes?

I'd like to delete an item from the main left hand column in iTunes (the column containing the main headings LIBRARY, STORE, SHARED, PLAYLISTS etc etc). Under the first heading 'LIBRARY' appear the items Library, Music, Movies, iTunes U, Books, Apps and Ringtones. I'd like to remove the item "Library" from that list - it appears immediately after the heading "LIBRARY" and serves no purpose whatsoever. (Neither does it appear to cause any harm, I must say, just a nuisance.) This item does not appear in any of the iTunes viewing options or controls lists. Neither does it appear in iTunes in the other accounts on my Mac and I have yet to see it any other iTunes on any other Mac.
I've upgraded since about iTunes 8 assuming the problem would eventually disappear through the upgrades but it hasn’t, even through all the providedupgrade increments available for iTunes.
I'm assuming it's from something I've installed in my main user account at some stage and it entered this item in the iTunes app. But I can't see how to remove it. The only things I can remember installing are "iTunes Batch Column Renamer" and "Join Together", both if which are just Scripts and which I use fairly regularly, but I don't recall either of them installing that particular item.
Is there any folder I can navigate to to edit the list of items in that main left hand column of iTunes?

on second thought, that you have an item "library" is indeed odd - there shouldn't be.
suggest you try removing iTunes completely (click here and follow the instructions), then reinstall it using the standalone installer from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.
note this will not do anything to your media files, playlists, ratings, etc.
btw, you didn't install any 3rd party tools like this script:

Use condition. If you are validating a record, just out the desired check in the condition field for that specific item.

1. Show the user all invalid fields of the form when he tries to submit it (show him validation summary) and guide him to correct the errors.
2. Remove the highlight frame from mandatory fields after user enters his input.

Normally you don't get a list of the fields that didn't pass the validation. So, you have to script the list by yourself!
If you put the validation script in the exit field that means if the user doesn't enter the field, the script won't be executed.
You could make an additional script into presave, presubmit, validate or whatever that will force the user to go to the field.
For example make a field only mandatory if the user doesn't enter anything.
Way to make mandatory fields that won't be shown if the user had provided response

Will JUST get mandatory if the user doesn't provide response. (Is an older script I got here and changed slightly for you.)
Do the parts in the event that should "fire" them. Probably divide it into two parts with two if statements instead of the else...

You can make an invisible TextField that will be shown AND populated if the user tries to submit something invalid.
Calculate Event of the Textfield:

How can I lock video clips to the timeline?

I know that holding down the command key disable ripping when triming.
But that doesn't work when deleting clips. It would be useful to lock videoclips to the timeline, so they keep their position.
Lock audio to playhead doesn't help the situation.

You cannot lock a video clip to the timeline. The program is designed so that when you delete a video clip, the other clips slide over to fill the gap. Otherwise you would have holes all over your project, or have to manually move them over. You would want to lock the audio clips to the non-deleted video clips, so that the audio slides over with them.
If you want to preserve the gap left by a deleted video clip, first insert in front of it a black clip of the same exact duration, and then delete the video clip. The black clip would hold all of the other clips in position, but leave you with a black hole to fill or delete. To make a black clip, separate two video clips on the timeline, and control-click on the empty space. In the resulting drop down menu, select Convert Empty Space to Clip. Then control-click on the black clip and in the resulting window adjust the time duration by overwriting the values in the time box and then clicking the Set button.

Hi Pat, you are correct, this is not about Adobe Reader, but about Sony, with their Reader Store - eBooks.
If you try to open an account there to purchase e-books there, you'll find that you are only able to do so when you live in the USA or Canada. You can't change the setting there, which is excluding people that live in other countries.
So, that to Sony's loss, where people will look elsewhere for e-books.

I might have misunderstood what you mean by the "broadcast icon," but if you are talking about an audio stream, then there is just no way you can convert a stream to MP3. What this would involve is either recording the stream, and then you would just be replaying the recorded audio on your iPod (is this what you are trying to achieve?), or reading the stream directly on your iPod, which an iPod nano does not support (it would need wireless connectivity).

Apps and Music are not from iCloud. Are from iTunes and App Store.
You can change this from: Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Sign out and sign in with new ID, but you will have to pay again to download apps that you already have in your old account. Or leave it as it is to share purchases with your son.
